I like this type of content it's great I've been in Alaska with my family we camp there and I'm also like Minecraft so this is my favorite video of all time for real man
@@Dumbermc that’s not a bad idea at all! I might do this in the future
Can you please make one of the maps free I don't have 10$ plus tax to be spending x
I like the fact that you don't just play the map, but give a lot of background info. it makes it far more engaging. Keep up the good work!
thanks! I try to teach people a thing or two about each place I visit so I'm glad you like it
I like it to its better than my science teacher your like my science teacher your awesome
Exactly so amazing
Your subed to clients reptiles that's awesome I love his channel
i do to i think it’s really cool
I think it would be fun to see you do 100 days in like Asia or like the Sahara desert or Egypt
I may or may not have one of those scheduled soon….
@@SmittieKingMC Oooo!
I ditto sahara desert survival
this video feels like a warm hug because there is so much love in it and its amazing to watch
that's so nice to hear! I love making these videos and doing research for them so I'm glad you like it!
I actually live in Alaska! I'll watch this video (well, later when I have time)
ayee nice! let me know what you think!
Did you watch it
Reminder to watch it
you better watch it and tell us if Alaska is real
He didn’t watch it guys
I must say, even thou this is minecraft, it looked like real life. It's so nostalgic and awesome. Keep up with the good work.
thanks for saying so! i'm trying to get these places as close as I can to real life and capture the vibe of each location. i'm glad you liked it
Nostalgic?
this quality is absolutely insane
thanks for saying so!
My dude really made educational content using Minecraft, I am amazed!
I love the geography and lore lessons throughout!! It makes a wonderful pairing with the fun of Minecraft ❤
Thank you for saying so!
“i now knew that for the rest of the storm i would be staying inside my house” yea buddy i would too 😭
bro was sponsored by alaska
fr
Being from Alaska, I love this! It’s always surprising how little people know about it, so I love the background info. Minecraft doesn’t give Alaska’s beauty justice, though!
that’s great to hear! and it is impossible to truly capture Alaska’s beauty, especially in Minecraft
😂 "My cat just farted! Valentino, that's foul!" (52:55) 😂
Now do it in real life
Good. Now do it in real life.
Ok I gotchu
ive done it for a little more then 100 days… a decade…more than a decade….
Dude it's so impressive how often you're able to put out all this amazing content 😮
ayee thanks potts and likewise!
15:30 wendigo? :D t doesn't quite look right but it certainly SOUNDS like a wendigo, I'd know those screechy calls anywhere hehe aha i was right >:3 protect gary bring him inside
good guess lol and don't worry, gary is just built different
Loved the relaxing but engaging playthrough. My mid-range laptop is dying though seeing that combo of scenery, shaders and animations 😆
ayee thanks for saying so! and yes, my pc sounded like an airplane taking off at certain points of recording lol
Gary is an absolute sigma for not being phased by that.
This video just came up on my recommended and I am so excited watching this! I love that you give all of the facts throughout the video. I’m nearly 30, but still always love getting educational content with my Minecraft videos!
This was God tier content. Now I'm going to watch all your videos 😊
It really sucks how the wendigo has been twisted and mixed with skinwalker Legends. The actual wendigo doesn't have antlers, it's just a gaunt human with a hunger for flesh and no lips as they can't stop themselves from eating them.
The modern Wendigo is that. Though the original, popularly known as "Windigo" is the stretched-limbs cannibal human.
As someone who grew up in Alaska, I marvel at the sheer speed a player can travel. Or the mod makers SEVERLY underestimated the size of Alaska. Or both. Also Denali is so much more defined than this. This is a tall hill. Where are my jagged peaks and dramatic edges? My minor problems with the mod itself aside, good video!
Yeah somtimes I wish one of the other videos blew up as I made this when I wasn’t very good with World Painter and I only had one day to make this map. Now, I make sure I have at least 4 days and am much better at making maps. This map was also 2k x 2k blocks whereas the ones I do now are 6k x 6k. Maybe I’ll revisit Alaska sometime and make a better map for it!
I rather enjoy a well done 100 Days series, and you definitely do it well. You've got a nice, calm narration style inter-cut with your in game dialogue, and the trivia of the real world places the map is based on is a nice touch. I'm kind of wondering if this is one of those 'build the whole world in Minecraft' maps, because wow, it is gorgeous. So much so that if kind of started feeling like something was missing since the regular Alaskan fauna didn't seem like they were going to provide any real challenge or drama, and then the "eerie noises coming from the woods" on day 21 dropped. Definitely gonna have to check out some more of your videos.
your storytelling is absolutely amazing!!! i literally felt like i was watching a documentary at times, by far one of the most entertaining (and educating lmao) minecraft videos
thank you so much! I only have more (and better) videos to come!
this felt like a really good documentary or a movie about an explorer it’s amazing actually
I haven’t been to Alaska but from the way it’s portrayed here is beautiful. I can only imagine how much cooler it is to see Alaskan scenery in person
it’s so cool to see how much potential minecraft has
agreed, projects like “build the earth” are showcasing how minecraft can be used as more than just a game
This is amazing, great narration and beautiful views!
This was incredible to watch, i love the slower pace appreciating all the small details and story adventures! If i squint my eyes, the graphics look better than real life! I rarely have the patience to sit down and watch longer videos, but i was mesmerized and enjoyed every second! There's not any other creator, making videos like you, keep being creative man🔥🔥🔥
thanks for saying so, this is exactly what I’m aiming for with my videos!
Absolutely loved this - instant subscribe
I keep on recalling Lovecraft's stories when I see all those buildings in an icy cave and new mobs in the forest during the storm. Such an aesthetic
I just found your KZhead channel and I think it’s really underrated keep up the good work 🎉🎉🎉
Yo man you did a absolutely fantastic job keep up the good work I wold love too see a new regular hard-core world your calm and put it some serious work keep it up!!!!
Bro I knew what that was immediately because I watched Wisp’s “Minecraft from the fog” videos and knew the noise immediately
I’m lovin this visiting world natural places and showcasing them this is wonderful Minecraft content
This is amazing making Minecraft educational And engaging in the same time is not the easiest. Thank you
thank you for saying this!
@@SmittieKingMC do you read all your comments?
I've been watching a lot of people do 100 day hardcore challenges, but ive noticed that very few are popular... Honestly, I feel like more of these cc should be popular! These types of videos are relaxing and fun to watch.Especially when the player isn't just playing the map, but also narrating and give info about these amazing landmarks! Also, i like the horror aspeck of this, i did Not expect that.
thank you for saying all of this! I’m trying to make my style different from all of the other Hardcore KZhead videos, not to say that those aren’t valid though. I just love doing this style of video
@@SmittieKingMC np :D
You make such lovely content, I have never seen a survival or hardcore Minecraft video like this ! Your way of playing and giving interesting facts and the music just makes it come together beautifully ! Also I would love to find the song of that snippet at 40 mins in its lovely !
thanks for saying so! in an age where the internet can be pretty negative, I want to give people a bit of a more positive experience (and teach people about the world of course). the song is "Harvest Moon Waltz" by Ziggy.
Next time you play Alex's Mobs, you should push beached whales back into the water. They'll reward you with something
this is actually so helpful to know lol, thanks for telling me!
@@SmittieKingMC No problem! :D
Hey man! Loved the video. Just wanted to let you know that youre incredibly underrated. Your videos are so high quality and dynamic. I hope you get the recignition you truly deserve. Have a great day
hey there and thank you so much!!
This is so cool as well as relaxing, can’t wait to see your channel blow up !!! 😊
thanks for saying so!
Everything about this video, the editing and how well it was done is incredible
Oh crap I love this! What mod did you use for the extra special mobs?
thanks! alex’s mobs is what I used, it’s a really great mod
@@SmittieKingMC definitely going to use it in my next play through
I like the fact it isn’t just Minecraft, but actual information of the land you’re in, great job, new sub! 😃
Thanks for saying so! And thank you for the sub :)
Amazing video! So engaging and informative. Keep up the great work!
SUCH A GOOD VIDEO!!! I stayed up to watch it and it was so worth the watch, im so excited for mew content and to see your channel grow!!!!
Such a different atmosphere in this video compared to Sean (ForgeLabs) but I love both of the play styles ❤
thanks for saying so! I love ForgeLabs and his content but I also want to keep my content different so I’m glad you noticed that
i can’t wait to play this world, i live in alaska so i think it will be pretty cool to see some of the places i’ve been to irl in minecraft
nice! hopefully I did a decent job, this is still when I was learning World Painter haha
Dude your about to blow up with subscribers! I just subbed and liked. Incredible game play🎉
ayee thank you!!
I live in Alaska, now I feel special for some reason- XD (Southeast, btw :D) Edit: We actually have a show here called The Days of 98 and it talks about Soapy Smith, the gold rush, and other things, my favorite thing in town, visit at least 20 times every summer!
ayee that sounds cool! the gold rush is so interesting to me, I enjoyed doing research for it but wish I could’ve talked for longer about it
Absolutely beautiful video and I loved the fun facts! Definitely subscribi and watching the rest!!
thank you for saying so!
u just got a new subscriber this vid was actually really good the fact that it wasn't only the gameplay but also had facts throughout it i had this in the background while i was studying and writing up essays even while i was sketching and there were multiple times when i ended up just loosing focus on my work and watched the vid when i was trying to study its awesome tho
I'm glad you liked the style I'm going for! I'm trying to keep my 100 days videos different from everyone else while teaching people about the world so I'm happy to hear it's working! Thanks for subscribing :)
This is a great video it’s educational and it’s fun to watch
Amazing content just finished the video and when I was about to sub, I seen u only have 8k subs. keep up the amazing work you deserve way more (:
I actually live in Alaska, excited to see this video
I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska, so this is the next best thing until I can! I may try to do this play through myself as well! ☺️
Rarely comment on videos- but this was super engaging and a really fun watch. Really neat style to the video, so much love and passion went into it. Subbed so fast.
thanks for saying so! I really enjoy making these videos and only hope to improve the quality of them as I go

Liked for the Northern Lights souls explanation, subscribed for the cat *poot*
Thanks for saying so! I wish I included more to be honest as I ended up writing a paper on the Inuit people shortly after making this video. I love it when my college classes relate to my KZhead videos though
Keep it up bro
How isnt bro alrdy famous. Great vid and very informative.
6:18 ummm I really had now words to describe what I had just witnessed but I now knew that for the remainder of this storm I would be staying in my house 😂
wow i learn alot! i would love to go to alaska in the future ❤❤ ( im a new fan/subscriber love yoh vidssss the besss❤❤
Those lights should’ve totally been on the thumbnail!! Even though it’s a pixel representation it’s still beautiful and really seems to help embody the worth of the journey despite it just being a game. Even though it is Minecraft it’s really a cool way of showing the landscapes to those who haven’t seen it and I really loved the added informational bits. Honestly this was pretty engaging and I actually really liked this video compared to other Minecraft ones because this focused more not on a specific challenge but rather a simple goal that came with a set of challenges and you weren’t just focused on diamonds or the dragon, but simply just being in such a place and I think there’s a lot of beauty to be found in that. The difficulty may have been 8/10 but this video was definitely a 10/10!!
Thank you so much for saying so! And I’m definitely not good enough at thumbnails yet for that haha (one day I’ll get there)
@@SmittieKingMC ofc! I’m out to watch more of your awesome content. Keep it up, it’s really amazing. I’m sure you’ll get better at thumbnails someday 😅 There’s so many cool places out in the world (no pun intended) that I can only imagine you have so much of the earth to cover! But if you ever get the chance I really want to see the great the lakes. They are really amazing and the north woods is such a cool place that I feel special to call it home. Obviously you have a lot more famous place to cover just keep this in mind haha, I really love the scenery I get to live with every day and I can’t imagine living in a place without so many trees and lakes :)
What are the modpacks that you used
Ey a new Minecraft KZheadr? Bro is good at this...!
Absolutely amazing video, 20/10. I think if you did one of these 100 days videos in Hawaii it would be REALLY cool
thanks so much! and that's on my list of places to do haha
Im downloading this and adding distant horizons 🤩
I love the little "what?" Whenever you are confused 😂
I never noticed it until I edited these videos lmao
I love the history and legend you say 🇨🇦
I am from Alaska and I saw this video. There were so much more you could have explored and done assuming it was there in the map ha ha. I have been to Prince William Sound and it did not look like that. Whittier tunnel would have been cool. I am just teasing you though great video.
Thanks for poppin in my recommended ❤️ Such a cozy and relaxing video! Can I ask, did you build this map yourself?
thank you! and yes I did, a few of the structures are from modded content but the landscape was me. I tried to get it pretty close to Alaska’s landscape!
@@SmittieKingMC it’s amazing work! wish you more subs
Very entertaining video! def deserves a sub
ayee thank you!
@@SmittieKingMC Ay no problm man
Il put this in my watch later and rate it😊.
I love your video! New sub :) also why do you have such a calm voice?! 😱 it makes it 10x better 🤣
I’m not sure haha, I’ve just been told I have a good narration voice
@@SmittieKingMC haha, keep up the good work! :)
I'm from Alaska, and can confirm that everything in this video is true
I miss the cold states in currently living in Florida and it is hella hot
I live in Alaska and I approve of this vid. Awesome.
glad to hear some alaskan approval!
@@SmittieKingMC you're welcome.
as someone who grew up in Sitka AK, this is a very acceret mod
i really enjoy the calm nature of the video, i fell asleep first time watching lol 😅
I love that haha, and thanks for saying so!
Man i dont know if your going to read this but this is probably my favorite Minecraft video ive ever seen, some of my best memories were made with my dad in alaska and this video just brings me back, like when you went to the mendenhal glacier i freaked out since ive been there and wondered if you would go there.
I’m honored that this video did that for you. I know that when I decided to recreate real places, many people have memories and experiences in these places and so it means a lot to me that I did them enough justice
Nah bro those wendigos are terrifying 😭
How do you do that free-cam view after you find a landmark, it’s amazing! Please answer my question because these free-cam views were so good!
Hello! This was my first video I’ve watched of yours. It was really such a beautiful and well done video! I loved the scenery! your calm voice and also the way you articulate your words is very nice to listen to. I’ve subscribed and can’t wait to watch more of your videos! ☺️
Thank you so much! I hope you like the other ones as well! :)
This video is incredible. I subbed to you. 💯 In all truth, I’m considering taking a trip from Illinois to Alaska…one of Gods greatest creations! I’m running to Oregon in June in a Toyota Corolla so watching this video only makes me want to go to Alaska even more. Just hope that big wendigo energy don’t come out. Blessings brother!
ayee thanks for saying so! I say go for it! I’ve seen a lot of people recently making long treks across parts of the country and I’m all for it
@@SmittieKingMC I’m gonna Timelapse it so if you want to watch it I’ll be sure to come back to this and let you know! Been checking out your other videos and you’re very solid in your work and you keep the viewer entertained!
Please do more of these type of videosss pleaseeee
