  • I always wondered that how the sharp electronic sounds come from handpan. I thought there is an electronic setup inside the instrument. Now I know a lot by this watching this video👏. Handpan reminds me of flying saucer😉.

  • what is the audio strobe software you use to help tune the harmonics? reminds me very much of some guitar tuners but they only deal with the fundamental.

  • At 1:10 to 1:30 when shaping the notes/pan. Did you ever hammer from outside? or was this all done by hitting from inside. Im puzzled how you can get notes so flat from hitting around them on inside of shell.

    • most likely oil, it protects the metal and makes the "grey" color of the shell after annealing seem darker at the same time =)
