It's really not that bad
I know color theory. I was an art major. That blue does NOT go with that red, especially in that way. It's atrocious. The RB with the unicorn vomit actually works and looks sick. I'm for it. Looks super cool.
Both are terrible
There are some really interesting pieces with clashing colors that traditionally should not work but do. The Ferrari certainly isn't one of them and a good example of why it is sometimes good to stick to traditional color theory.

Merc makes me so mad; everyone is running a med to low wing, Merc brings Big Bertha. Team is so lost. They're gonna be slow and because it's going to be very hot over the weekend, the cars are gonna blow up.
Well they Al away had a much bigger wing with the w13 and most of the time still challenged for even wins by the end of the season so maybe this car is the same, also with rain being possible it could end up being a decent choice

Was really hoping Ferrari would completely go Azzurro la plata and Azzurro la dino on their cars, but instead we got a terrible livery. Really sad. It will be really interesting to see teams with upgrades and if they will maximize/get it to work because of the sprint (i dont think so). Anyways, great video once again!
I hope we see McLaren take a big step

Ayyyyyy it uploaded let’s go I was watching for the notification after seeing the community post. Keep up the effort man. You’ve kinda inspired me to actually start working on my f1 channel on the back end. Been wanting to join the “American pundit” gang for awhile just haven’t felt like it’s “worth it” because let’s face it this space is pretty flooded with content right now but watching you and reading comments I’ve come to realize, it’s flooded with BAD content. People want stuff like this. Critical thought and analysis with thought intriguing questions. Keep doing you man, you keep it up I can tell your gonna be the first American guy to actually “breakout” everyone else that’s come along with good content for some reason disappeared after 2021 and their channels are dead now.

As a Ferrari fan, I can't begin to describe my disappointment in the one off special livery. From everything I read, the impression given was that the car was going to be painted almost entirely in Azzurro La Plata, with flashes of Azzurro Dino. This halfway house measure just looks a mess, which is never a good look for a brand like Ferrari. The blue wheel discs in particular look very tacky. But hey, aesthetics are secondary to performance - I think the high track temps at Miami should see the Ferrari really come alive. Here's hoping!
YEp, its either got all in or dont, feels really half-assed. I assume Ferrari did not want to lose the iconic red
And just wait till you see the "huge updates" Ferrari will bring next week... they will be massive, a total change vissually and in performance!!! That hype is building fast!!! It will be as big as the new blue livery.

Id presume the lower downforce wing on the RB20 makes it so the car can be thrown into corners alot more easily.
My take is that Mercedes are consistently having to run a much bigger rear wing than its competitors to try to compensate for a lack of downforce generated from the floor and rest of the car, which in turn makes them also slow in a straight line. Whereas Red Bull can run the skinniest wing and be fastest due to the exact opposite. Is that your take, or is there more to it in your opinion?
I reckon Maclaren will be strong this weekend. Unusual to bring updates to a sprint weekend, but their updates over the last couple of years have worked, so I think their sim must be giving them the right answers.
Just noticed the McLaren has another kiwi logo @7:34 Notice long beak and feet. I'm going to have to look through footage to see how long it has been there. Kiwi's can't fly but they can move when they need to. If you don't know the swoosh is a kiwi body shape.
We should fund Formula 1 John Wick to go to the tracks and cover the technology in person 😅

Ferrari’s problem last year was also high speed so if they compromise that again it could be a tough weekend for them.
Why wouldn't you just go high downforce if you were red bull? Their car drag (or lack thereof) is such that they are usually still amongst the top cars in the speed traps whilst carrying more wing. I'd carry more wing if I were them. If needed there would be a ton of drag shed (especially proportionally with High DF wings) by their drs efficiency, and the time they'd make up in the corners and extra tyre saving. Pole would be extremely likely too due to drs shedding drag in quali and thus less penalty. It's really not a major penalty to a car that efficient, and if rain is threatening I'd lean that way even more. I don't like the Merc update. Having cooling there, one assumes they'd introduce hot and lossy air down the waterslides towards the coke bottle region and beam wing area. Not ideal. I can't imagine the above setup is going to be optimum when other teams keep their losses high, central, and fire them through the wing and beam wing area and via cannons. That way they keep high energy air flowing to those regions and keep losses in a none critical area.
I don't think that Merc halo fin is new btw. I think it was on the car in China. I can't remember which video it was, maybe Sam Collins pointed it out, but I think it was hastily added (possibly only for the GP and not the sprint or something like that). Don't quote me though but I'm sure I saw something about it unless I'm confusing teams.
