Drunk man goes into wrong house, sleeps on dog bed with 150-lb. Mastiff

A homeowner in Wisconsin called the cops early Tuesday after she found a stranger asleep in her house, on her dog's bed.
Police said the man likely got inside the home through a side door that was unlocked, according to WITI.
Authorities said the man was "heavily intoxicated" after celebrating New Year's Eve, "accidentally entered the wrong residence" and fell asleep with her Mastiff named Benton on the doggie bed.
The man was not charged, police said.
“They told me it could have been a lot worse. (The young man) didn’t know where he was. He couldn’t see - his glasses were tossed around the living room somewhere” said Lynn Sarver, Benton’s owner, told WITI. “He was very apologetic.”
Benton is thinking “this isn’t the first young drunk guy mom has brought home”

A friend of mine had something similar happen. He and his wife both have several Golden Retrievers. My friend was sleeping and heard one of the Golden's make a noise and then go back to sleep. A drunk young man had came in and went to sleep laying with the dogs. My friend awoke in the middle of the night and looked around the bedroom, and saw some shoes he didn't recognize. He sat up and pushed on the shoe with one of his foot and then turned on the light, and the guy suddenly woke up and yelled, 'I thought the place was empty and wanted to get out of the cold.' Turns out he had left a party after a disagreement and walked to my friends home and tried the door and it was unlocked. My friend and his wife have a home near a lake and the next door neighbor is sort of far away, about half a mile away from their closest neighbor. So sometimes they don't lock the door, since it's a very safe place. My friend called the number the young man gave, and found out his story was true. They've had Thanksgiving with the young guy a few times over the years. Sometimes it's best to not jump to conclusions, just give a person a chance to explain. Plus, Dogs are sometimes a pretty good judge of character.
The kid made a stupid mistake. Hopefully he learns from it and they can laugh about it later as neighbors. I'm glad she didn't press charges since it sounds like he was really apologetic and took responsibility for his eff-up.

Good luck in my house, I can't even come back without my dog kicking off.
My sisters dog is about 100 pounds and she thinks that she is a lap dog. Her dog is part pitbull and some great dane. Her dog is very protective of my sister and her kids.
I bet he must have thought my girlfriends breath smells a bit ruff
