Can we just accept the fact that the folks at Thermaltake are just absolute gigachads for making a how to build video on their most popular case?
Haha, this comment made my day!
This has to be one of the best build guides I’ve seen. Extremely well filmed, edited and not to mention the voice over gives you so many little basic details others go over assuming you know it!
True! They show exactly what is is needed from the angle that is best. Amazing
Picked up this case earlier in the week. Dug in today for the build and I can not stress enough how helpful this video was. This case has a huge amount of customization so having a well detailed "Start Here" video was excellent. Everything fit perfectly the first time. An great reminder of why, when I do purchase cases, PSUs, AIO and such, I go Thermaltake.
Yeeess so happy to hear this!! So glad you are loving your new case too!
This is gonna be my first Small-form factor build of my life. 4th overall build. Really looking forward to this. This is such a beautiful case with a very inviting look for people who wanna build small form factor PCs but think its too much of a challenge.
I recently grabbed one of these bad boys as part of my first ever ITX rig and I gotta say I absolutely love it. Thanks very much for the walkthrough.
Yeewww! Welcome to the world of ITX! You're most welcome and thanks for the comment!
@@ThermaltakeAustralia Can you fit a 3 slot graphic card in this case? Like the Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB GDDR6 Limited Edition ?
@@100radsbar have the same question
@@100radsbar no
Is it just me or it just looks like a 3D printer? :D Love it.
Where do you put the hdmi and display port cables in if the top of the pc is covering it, Thanks
Wished I saw this before my build, love the case and its unorthodox but functional design.
You definitely make me want to put a build together in this.
Perfect ! This was exactly what I'm going to do tonight, so even though that I have built hundreds of others, it was good with a walktrough of thoughts about this case 🙂
Wish I saw this video before I started my build. would have saved me a lot of rework. Thanks!
Thanks thermatake I got an aio for my tower 100 and my first modular psu and you helped me with cable management Edit: my first pc I ever built is in this case
Jono you absolute legend!
Right back at you Dan!
Had a great black friday deal on this and wanted to build a VR gaming rig. Thank you! This helped answer a number of a questions.
Thanks Jono
Welcome, Steve! Thanks for all your comments mate!
Man just ordered this case, cant wait to get it all setup :D, awesome video and looks like an awesome case.
This video helps so much I'm starting to build a PC and the turquoise thermaltake tower caught my eye this will be a life saver ^×^
I love this kind of case definitely for me
Amazing bro! I wanted this case and you literally persuaded me
Love comments like these! What colour are you picking up? 👀
Any details on the parts used for this build please? Mobo, Cpu, Cpu cooler, Ram, M.2, PSU..?
Really Really great rundown. Thanks
This video convinced me to finally get mine! So well filmed, explained and the case has so many good features, the design team is top tier! Liked and subbed btw :)
Yeeeeiw so glad to hear that! Hope you love your new case!
I did a build in the turquoise edition and I really like it. Thumbs up.
Great video!!!!!
thanks for sharing, great video. I recently bought a used tower100 - and did not notice at the time, but I did not get the standoffs. Is there a way for me to get them. What the rule for material and distance the board should be off the case..? thanks
Last time, I've barely managed a build in a roomy mATX enclosure. Definetely high time to give this a spin!
This one is a goodie for sure!
One ❤️ love thermaltake one love 😍 💪👏
I freaking love the colour of this thing!
Same tbh :P
Love the case & that shirt !
Looks really neat, but when the top dust filter is installed how do you plug in your cables to the motherboard's IO ports, like keyboard and mouse?
Precisely. That was also my first thought. Or your LAN cable. So this case sucks.
If you look at the back there's two slots for you to route through your plugged in cables.
thnx for the video 😁👍
Welcome! Thanks for the comment
hey i saw when you first opened the case the fan was located up top, is there enough room for a push pull aio up top if the rad and one fan where below and one fan above the bracket?
Love my Tower 100 but interested in helping it run cooler. I've added 3 small noctua fans on the outter left side of the case to try and further cool the GPU a bit. I would be interested in a full metal/mesh left side panel to help your GPU breath. Any chance I can talk you into sending a turquoise lower panel? Mine got a bit banged up in the modification process. 😅😅
Hi, I want to build in this case and i wanted to know how loud are the stock coolers of the tower 100 mini
Adorei, ficou lindo, vou montar um ainda em 2023.
Are you going to update this case to the upcoming truck size 40 series cards with possible allowing few intake fan mounting for positive air pressure?
How do you use the inputs on the board like the mic hdmi mouse and keyboard etc… it all looks closed in the case. Thanks
I have a Reactor 380 on it's way and I want to upgrade the SSD. I want to leave the 1tb preinstalled one and add a 2tb to the rear slot on the MB. I've built my own rigs in the past, so I'm not worried about taking some things apart to get to the slot if I need to. My question is, how much do I have to remove to get to the second slot on the back of the MB? It looks like there might be a small chance of accessing it from the back, but my gut feeling is I'll have to take out the 4 screws on the MB and just nudge it forward enough to slide the extra card in.
Really nice walkthrough of the case build, thank you!
I was on the fence about this case and by the end of the video I had ordered it! In white though!
Oooooooh 😍 I just personally built my own system in a Tower 100, white as well - Jono
love this case i have just issue to find where to connect the rgb cable coming from my liquid cooler fan to the motherboard.
One tip I use which helps a lot, I install the PSU cables on the motherboard first then the GPU + any component (SSD/HDD) and last I connect them to the PSU after routing the cables while the psu is not screwed into the case and last I put the psu into its place and screw it.
What's the point of the 'back' panel cooler if it blows into the back of the MB?
About to buy. For argb do you have a hub or splitter you recommend that would fit in the case?
how do you plug in the mouse and keyboard on the back?
Is there access tor motherboard ports..like speekers ports..usb ect?
Need Help With the Tower500 there are a set of radiator/fan brackets. Would like to ORDER another pair need the part number to look for it. Shame TT didnt add the extra pair.
Does your front glass panel rattles at all? Mine rattles when I type on my desk.
okay, it's pretty sweet
great pc,cheers from brasil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im looking into building in this, can this hold a 2.9 nearly 3 slot gpu?
what ram is used in the video / which would be sufficient?
it would be nice if you guys sell a fully mesh side panel for the gpu
how do you plug things into the motherboard or gpu if the top hat is covering it
Hi is it possible and makes sense to make the airflow in the other direction from ground to top? Thx
You can, the best results I've seen have come from pulling air from the bottom/ground and exhausting out of the top. My personally rig is a Tower 100 with a 5600X & a 6700XT reference model - I use a Toughair 510 (two fans), the stock rear fan and an additional toughfan on the top and find that to cool the system extremely well.
Could I squeeze a vertically mounted 280 aio cooler on the side?
why you didnt put a fan on the plate at the bottom for intake isnt one missing like this or am i not understanding the case airflow?
I need a computer that can handle premiere pro and after effects in 4k. And direction or advice
can this case be installed air cooler silver arrow ib-e extreme rev. b thermalright?
Is it big enough for a micro atx?
Any recommendations on motherboards? I have a ryzen 7 5800x
you should use a separate cable for each plug on the gpu if I'm not mistaken?
Could I fit an matx mobo in this?
will it fit a micro atx card?`
Can i use it for atx motherboard
JUST FINSHED MY build day ago then found this guide it would've helped me. 11900k on the AORUS ultra gaming w/ 64gb ram. Why go small when you can go BIG? Discovered many tips along the way you mention during video. For cooling went with Dark pro 4. though its a great cooler the orientation of the bequite logo is on its side and cant be adjusted. im building another PC soon and I hope you have a guide on that next build will be in the tower500. cant wait.... this next build will be same platform but just bigger another 11900k with 128g of ram the Z590 Aorus Master.
Thanks for the comment, and congrats on the new build 😊. We will be doing one on the Tower 590 as well, will you be air cooling that one as well? 👀
@@ThermaltakeAustralia atm I'm undecided what go with Currently looking at the TT water cooling
@@ThermaltakeAustralia What is the part number of the long radiator and fan brackets? Would like to order 2 more need part number. Real shame thermaltake did not include a 2nd pair
If the io shield is upwards and the top is closed where do we connect display , keyboard ethernet,,,,,etc??? .
How do you get to the GPU and motherboard ports after the top has been put back on?
There are 2 large cutout at the back near the top for cables for your GPU and ports.
I was just about to ask the same thing.
I've been scouring the internet for exactly this.....THANK YOU! 🤦♂️
Also wondering. I see they're taking their time responding to you.
You can clean up the wiring by adding a TB hub or similar. makes access much easier.
Can a HP pavilion 570 mother board fit in this tower?
Will a matx motherboard fit
I really want to build in this case. Waiting for a sale on itx parts to go on sale
Would it fit 7900xtx xfx merc?
Good build guide but next time I recommend doing the io cables before installing the ram and 24pin cable.
How much would a full build like this cost? Or do you have a parts list that you could share? Very interested in doing a build like this. Thank you for sharing, very good video.
We're off for Easter holidays, so I don't have access to all the information however from memory.. Parts used were CPU: Intel 11400f Motherboard: Asus Strix B560I RAM: Thermaltake 16GB Toughram XG Cooler: Thermaltake Toughair 510 PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 650w Additional Fans: Thermaltake Toughfans GPU: Asus Dual 3060
@@ThermaltakeAustralia I really appreciate the reply. This will be my first build and am looking forward to it. Now to hunt down the parts, or maybe salvage from my other PC. Enjoy your holiday.
What motherboard did you use
Are the stock fans 3pin?
Just purchased the gold colour way just wondering what fans you use
Yewwww! Its such an amazing colourway! For this build we used the Thermaltake Toughfans, they're non RGB but are high performance silent fans if that's what you're into :)
How do I receive a mobo that literally has a 5v argb pin that is too thick for any connections
How do you connect monitors? Do you need cables with angled connectors?
Hey there, you don't need right angled connectors, you can use your normal ones just fine. The top cap for the Tower 100 has large cutouts on the rear to pass cables in and out. :)
how i can connect a cable to motherboard?
Just leave the RAM out until after you mount the cooler/block. The TT bottom pan also comes out.
how do you access the hdmi slot to plug in a monitor? I saw the slot at the top of the case but then it has a lid on it , so how is it accessed?
At the back of the case on the top cover, there are two large cutouts to allow for cables to passthrough and be plugged into the motherboards IO :)
cool
Does the wifi slots on the motherboard have enough room for the antennas in this case? I will be relying on wifi.
Great question! If your motherboard is the type to have the antennas that screw onto the motherboard and fold down/up, they will fit however you will need to install those last AFTER you've put all your USB devices, audio jacks and other cables in as it'll be snug. If your motherboard has an antenna that has a cable that runs off it, you'll have plenty of room and can route the cable out of the cable cut out on the back. (that's what I do with my Strix B550i
can you please make one for the thermaltake 200. first time builder here and a little intimidated by the task of building in a mini itx.
We can absolutely look into doing one. Thanks for the suggestion!
Just built this, one question I have is there are 2 solid covers (about 3.5 drive bay cover size) what are they for? the instructions are rather vague on their placement.
Nice! Hope you enjoyed the build! I believe those covers you are referring to are the ones you would use to cover the space where a GPU would go if you didn't have one. That way there's not a big gap next to the top of that basement area. There should be one also that you can mount sideways next to the GPU to fill the space on the side of the case.
Hello! This is my first pc build and I fell in love with the green colour of this case!! But, I don’t know where to get all the insides (motherboard ect.) and I also need the price of everything. Thanks!
I'd love to help you spec out a build!
@@steezegod2768 That would be so helpful!!
it really depends on your needs and budget
Why is there a visible cutout i the case between the: top fan - mobo i/o - and GPU i/o ?
Good video, but it isn't complete. What about HDDs? Installing 3.5 inch HDDs on the back conflicts with the rear fan.
Wow thermaltake, still using the fimbly cables from 1988 for front IO connections... face palm.
Nice build and great build. Im a bit too late but can a gigabyte b550m ds3h fit in this?
Is there a cutout for you to plug in your mouse and keyboard to your motherboard?
There sure is! There's not a great angle of that in this video, but the best view would be kzhead.info/sun/m81weqx_oINmlZ8/bejne.html The cuts are right next to the motherboards USB's and go towards the back of the case :)
how do u get video out if its blocked?
Mobo i/o ports are blocked from the top panel. If i need to connect a cable (for example an ethernet cable) there, how do i exit the cable out of the tower?.
The rear section of the top cap has large cutouts for your cables to passthrough. If you look at 18:11 the top cap is on the right side and shows the large cutouts at the rear. 😊
@@ThermaltakeAustralia Thank you 🙏
Any ideas when the brother of this case, the tower 500 is coming out?
Globally very soon, for Australia it's slated for an Early May release.
Is this a rumor or is it confirmed? What are some of the specs?
I feel like managing the I/O cables to the motherboard and GPU should have been covered. That looks like a tight bend for a DisplayPort or HDMI cable.
I wish you had a part list so I could copy it lol
Can anyone confirm that the I/O connections for monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc... are going to be on the top, under the top hat screen??
What's that power supply model ?
I choose not to plug the pwr LED and HDD LED wires. Because the LED are too shinning. The RGB fans are your new pwr LED
