This is more than just an album it's a journey
It really is. It's so well thought out and sincere. Honestly it's been therapy for me. To me it seems like... Dawn fm is a purgatory to exist in until you learn it's lessons. Like Jim says at the end. "Heavens for those who let go of regret and you have to wait here while you're not there yet but you could be by the end of this song." And "you have to be heaven to see heaven" After years of depression and addictions I think I'm starting to finally tune out of dawn fm. And I hope people listening can too.

It’s fair to call this Abel’s best project, right? I mean, I love House of Balloons as much as the next guy but this is just on another level. You kind of forget you’re listening to an album halfway through because the songs are so groovy and fun and then you get the interludes and Jim Carey speeches which make you remember that what you have been listening to is high art

With the help of the charismatic DJ, Jim Carrey, this album has it all. Personally, this album was at the right time for me. Less than Zero hit me in my heart. Dawn FM is that little light you see in the distance. And how do we not talk about the beauty in his transitions from song to song, with the use of Jim and beautiful synths. 10 out of 10 for me.

I don't know how to write fan mail. And never have I wanted to write fan mail before. Abel if you ever read this (which I doubt) but I owe you my life. I listen to Dawn FM every single day and every night before I go to bed I start with A tale by Quincey and keep it moving. I believe Dawn Fm dropped in January last year. The following month my mother died unexpectedly and I lost my house and eventually I felt like I was losing my mind. My daughter was just a few months old and Id carry her and sing Is there someone else everyday together. She loves it now lol. After a while I developed Psychosis and was hallucinating. Dawn FM at that point was the only thing that kept me grounded. I eventually attempted suicide in September and again Dawn FM has been the only comfort for me lately. I just wanted to say Thank you Abel I empathize with your past and this album hits me everyday to my core. Phantom regret by Jim completely tears me down. This album is pure art I hope the universe blesses you with continued prosperity and a long life.
Hey king, in my opinion, a human being has to find a purpose to live except for the animals who can survive for reproduction, I suggest you to look up different schools of philosophies, your hobbies, making your daughter's life better. I think it's really amazing, how much this album is more a listening experience than just a line-up of great songs. It was actually mentioned that they wouldn’t be able to sell physical copies until later dates, but he stated that it doesn’t matter to him. I've been listening to him since 2012 (when the mixtapes were free to download off of his website) and love all his work. Having said that, After hours and Dawn FM are the most like the OG mixtapes in the sense that the albums flow into each other and have a unified, dark theme in the lyrics. This man is the only artist I’ve been obsessed with for years in my musical journey. There’s honestly no one else like him doing what he does. Purely for the love of music and story telling. No one is touching this level of creative thinking today. Not even the top “pop” stars. This album probably isn’t even his best yet. I have this underlying feeling the next one is gonna be more mind blowing and addictive. He’s got such a formula down and I bet he knows it but also doesn’t hence the fact he experiments. I’m still playing this album everyday. It helped get me through some tough moments last year. It’s definitely in my all time top ten albums.
The entire album was incredible. Amazing theming and messaging. Songs went from dark to brighter as he ascended into the light (died). Jim Carey’s narration was perfect and tied everything up nicely. Transitions were also 10/10.
