Testing KZheadr recipe books would be extremely on brand for this channel, honestly a no-brainer.
Especially the Mythical Cookbook!

He has no budget to get one
He should try the most complicated recipes, of which he has hardly any of the fancy ingredients it calls for.
I look forward to the substitutions.

"Sweet rice" over here in sweden, a staple for a long time around christmas and the colder months of the year we do "rice porridge", which is often served sweet- either topped with cinnamon and sugar, or with a berry-syrup-sauce. we do call it rice-grain porridge, or also "tomegröt", or santa porridge, in old tradition, the small gnomes (or tomtar) were given a bowl of hot porridge with melted butter on top of it as a reward during wintertime, for their good work done around the farms :> (we do not usually do the butter-thing on the porridge anymore) we also have "risifrutti", which is a rice pudding with sweet jam on the side, bought in small containers at the store and usually used as a snack or cold meal for kids.
Interesting, here in Brazil, at least in the very south where I live, we eat sweet rice almost exactly the same as you. We usually cook it with milk and sugar, and then is served with cinnamon, sometimes we put condensed milk too.
@@fadoashura2867 in Austria we have that too, tastes amazingly good.
In Germany we eat Milchreis (literally translates to Milk Rice) which is just some sticky rice boiled in milk with cinnamon and sugar, apparently a lot of cultures have sweet rice dishes with some sort of fat/dairy basis
Рисовая каша in Russia! That's basically the same thing So wholesome

Have you ever lied? stolen? hated? been prideful? gossiped? swore? Or other bad things? I Can say without a doubt we’ve at least done something that was considered bad, consciously that we shouldn’t have done. this is called sin. It’s the act of doing something against what God wants in our lives. Think about this. You have just invited someone over to your house, and that means you can place rules on what they do - because it’s your home! Now lets say this said person directly disobeyed the rules you’ve placed while they were there. you would be offended right? This is exactly the situation with us and God. We are the person staying over in His creation, yet we consciously disobey- which is called Sin. We all have this problem and because of this God has to send us to hell because He is so just can’t just let these wrong doings pass. Think of it as a guilty criminal having to be sentenced to jail because the Judge knows it’s right. We are the guilty criminal. Hell is our punishment. And God is that Judge. Well, this would mean that everyone would go to hell because we’ve all committed sin-disobedience from God, consciously. But here’s the good news. Jesus came to die on the cross, taking our punishment upon Himself, for our sins so we don’t need to go to hell. Think of that same analogy with the criminal. Now there is a person that’s willing to bail that criminal out and if that criminal accept that gift of bail, then they will be able to legally be free. If we accept that, Jesus died on the cross for our sins and repent- turn away from sin-then we will be saved because we take His bail that He offers for free so we can go to heaven.

i live in nashville, go to monell's in germantown for classic southern food (served family style, fried chicken available at every meal every day, it is SO good). for hot chicken: if you want conventional, hattie b's is obviously the most well-known (if you want an easier experience go to the one on 8th ave versus the broadway/music row locations). if you want true hot chicken go to prince's. if you want genuinely spicy hot chicken go to bolton's and trust them when they say mild or medium
Germantown? Es gibt eine Siedlung außerhalb der Bundesrepublik Deutschland?
I LOVE Monell's! I've been there twice when I visited Nashville and it was delicious each time.
Gotta be Princes +1
Omg Germantown? Is there German stuff there (probs not authentic but still) ?
@@ps-cx9hz unfortunately not a whole lot :( although it does have a stunning block of german rowhouses that were built by an immigrant from hanover in the late 1800s that have been preserved. i live in germantown and it’s easily my favorite block in nashville. we also have von elrod’s beer hall which is sort of a bastardization of german beer culture lol BUT has good soft pretzels, good brats, and has paulaner hefeweizen on draught which is my favorite! i’m biased because i live here but if you ever stop in nashville germantown is a great, walkable, beautiful area
In Germany we have something like the last one called "Milchreis", its rice cooked in milk, topped with cimminiminin and sugar or some sort of applesauce (Apfelmus)
same in mexico

this is really weird but i always end up feeling sleepy when i watch your videos. your voice is very calming and your food is looking better and better each video. i get why you’re so popular on yt, your opinions of food are very objective and realistic. i think i might try one of these recipes someday, i have some leftover rice. thank you for your videos.
I'm Indian and I think the last dish is called "payasam" in our region (southern part of India), you can also add some dry fruits like almonds, cashews and raisins (roast them in ghee/butter) and Cardamom to add more flavour and you can also use jaggery or honey instead of sugar (It tastes better with these in my opinion) ... This dish is usually made during festivals as a sweet

You are just the best man! Such a character. Love your humor and your chill way! Wholesome feelgood content and inspiring repices combined. Thank you!
The rice cooker rice reminds me of the Shanghai vegetable rice (cai fan) we make. You use a leafy veg that can standup to blanching or boiling like bok Choy. We use Shanghai bok Choy. Plus a salted pork for protein. No egg though. Whether to partially cook the rice beforehand may be controversial at our house. The trick is you want to cook the vegetable with the rice a little so the vegetable broth gets absorbed by the rice as it cooks. Some people parboil the rice beforehand but I remember my grandma on my mom's side stir frying the soaked raw rice grains with the veg stem part, other ingredients that will take longer to cook, and cut up salted meats then adding water and any other leaves or soft ingredients to cook all on one pan. We have been adding diced carrots lately for colour but I have seen other places add mushroom or bamboo shoots.

4:46 that mushroom fried rice/macaroni cheese creation sounds amazing and I will be trying it. Thank you for winging it.
If you do it you should keep the mushroom juices in the pan for more flavor
When making fried rice, don't salt the vegetables during the cooking. Don't know if you did or didn't, just giving a tip for the others. If you salt too early, the veggies get mushy. If you want a little snap to them, high heat and no salt. Salt at the end after adding the soy sauce. Also, cornstarch or potato starch before refrigerating over night rice will prevent clumping and create extra crispy bits on the rice. If you use cornstarch, undercook the rice a tiny bit and let it rehydrate with the cooking.
Thank you for the tip, I’ll make good use of it.
" Soak our water in rice"😭 7:26
You should test other KZheadrs recipes, but only allow yourself to read it once. So that your “make stuff up as I go” motif can continue depending on how well your brain works that day 😁

The sweet rice thing you made, in germany we call it "Milchreis" so basically milk rice. (we are so creative) One of the my favourite kinds of Milchreis is with hot cherrys.
We also have something similar in Russia :) It's called "рисовая каша" (risovaya kasha - rice porridge) It's a nostalgic dish, cause it's usually eaten in kindergarten and when your still a child a lot. But it's also nice for breakfast
@@4kach24 that is so interesting, we also have it mostly as kids, but since im a sweet tooth i eat it regularly in my late 30´s 😂
@@Justsomebiggerman2 Oh, that's wholesome! I'm 20 and wouldn't mind eating sweet rice too🤝 Do you by chance have a somewhat weird dish like milky soup(?) in Germany too? It's basically vermicelli cooked in milk, also sweet and for the kids It was one of my favourites back in the day
@@4kach24 we have something called Milchnudeln, milk pasta xD its also sweet and a somewhat low income bracket dish, my mother had lots of as a kid, she made it for herself often but i never liked it.
In Spanish is the same, arroz con leche literally translates to rice with milk
You should definitely test youtuber cookbook recipes. A similar style of comparison video would be dope. I.e. fried chicken from multiple creators ranked against each-other, etc. With your style of video I feel like it would be really fun to watch :)
I’ve gotten better at cooking while watching ur videos lol. Keep it up and continue to have fun with cooking.
Curing depression one video at a time!!! Thanks futurecanoe
Regarding the rice pudding at the end, there's a very traditional dessert in Portugal called arroz-doce (translated just means sweet rice) which is quite similar to that pudding
It is very similar to the spanish recipe "Arroz con leche" (Rice with milk) as well
I think rice pudding is a thing pretty much everywhere that rice is available. I live in the UK and my nan would make it with nutmeg and cinnamon and bake it in the oven with sugar sprinkled on top which makes a caramelised crust, it's like a rice crème brûleé
Spanish arroz con leche is the goat
@@arnoldmmbb Meh, I personally don't enjoy it much. But I'm the odd one here, because my entire family love arroz con leche

YEEESSSS. Test their recipes!
I love these Videos, greetings from germany. The Humor is killing me softly :)
I think the coconut milk rice pudding is a South Indian dish so I wanted to suggest the North Indian version of it which is easier (and in my opinion tastier). It’s called ‘Kheer’, and all you need to do is take semi cooked rice, although a day old rice will also work. Simply take a good amount of milk, add a couple of green cardamom pieces and a stick of cinnamon (using whole spice instead of powder will allow the dish to have a clean white color) and boil it till it thickens a bit, then add the rice and sugar as per preference. Simmer for a few more minutes till rice is soft but not completely mush and it’s ready. It’s great hot but even better refrigerated and cold. Although it’s not considered a ‘meal’, instead it’s eaten as a dessert but you could fill up with a bowl of ‘Kheer’ as well.
1:59 that's what she said
We eat rice porridge during the Christmas here in Finland. The porridge itself isn't sweet but we put sweet stuff on top of it: either sugar and cinnamon (optionally with some fresh milk) or plum custard.
That sweet rice reminds me of the one my mother used to make. It's called "Milchreis" (literal translation "milk rice") and is basically the same but instead of the coconut milk she used whole milk, added bourbon vanilla and raisins whom have been soaked in rum overnight. Imho 10/10, would recommend. Altough I had to consume it cold because if I ate it warm, I got heartburn... Love u mom.
4:57 bro fr tried to kill every italian by making an arancino
You can try Spanish classic dessert “Arroz con Leche”. It’s kinda similar to the Indian dish but with regular milk and some lemon peel to infuse flavor
The last recipe is called "Kheer" it's like a rice pudding and in India and Pakistan it's very common to eat kheer on festivals as sweets. And you can eat it cold. It tastes so much yummy when you cool it down and you can garinush it wish almonds, coconut shred and raisins it evaluates the flavours and also put cardamom when you add the water in rice it's just phenomenal. Please try this again and cool it ❤

For sweet leftover rice, you can make a chocolate porridge (Champorado) by using cacao tablets (if available) or chocolate powder/baker's choco, sweeten to desired taste using sugar and top it off with a splash of evaporated milk. It's such a cozy, typically cool weather snack in my country (Philippines)
Those mushrooms look really expensive
For some reason mushing egg with rice never sat right with me .
I used to pour sugar into rice before boiling it. I used to like eating it as a dessert. If you put some cinnamon in it and chill it a little it was good for a cheap summer treat.
The sweet rice is a thing in Germany too, just called "Milk-Rice" - though you usually use round grain rice for it and fully cook it in the milk (or coconut milk), rather than using already cooked rice. Having a bit of texture left is fine too.
