The Grand Canyon is truly one of world's breathtaking experiences. I had the pleasure of visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim for the first time with @rosiediairies . We visited the Mather Point and then took in a short walk along the Rim Trail to take in all the natural beauty.

  • I wanted a nice background to propose to my girlfriend so in 1986 I told her to pack her bags because we are going on a long roadtrip. We drove from Queens, NY to the Grand Canyon where I proposed at sunset. She said YES and we've been married ever since.

Walt Disney was going to build a theme park in the area to be called Disney Stone but then he heard about some cheap swamp land in Florida. yeah before that it was really just flat desert not much going on I mean it took a few weeks and a lot of heavy equipment but they got it done.
