Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. Except Dimash gives us a mischevious smile as he pretends to bite her but instead lets her go. I love this dark love song. Dimash is a fan of Michael Jackson's music and his style. So, it is no wonder that you would make that comment. He even did a tribute video to MJ. Dimash said he sometimes feels as if MJ is on stage with him during some performances. The thing about her being his gateway to heaven is that she makes him feel like he could go there with her. I think Dimash intended for this to be a homage to MJ's Thriller video.

Dr. Qudaibergen (Ph.D.) earned his Doctorate in the spring of 2023. Almost immediately after, he moved to the USA. He moved to L.A. and began studying at the New York School of Fine Arts LA campus. He majored in Film Directing, so he picked up a lot of American colloquialisms while he was here.
He did not study in LA. He said in an interview that his time was too constrained with concerts, etc so the study bursary was awarded to someone else.
