59 different players in the Top 10 in the 2000s. Only 42 in the 2010s...
That makes sense because the top 3-4 are always Federer Nadal Djokovic, and Murray was top 4 for a very long time as well. The rest of the whole rally are basically comepeting for top 5-10 places.
@@davidzhang9522 Thiem, Zverev never dropped out of top 10 throughout the 2010s decade as well, they remained in top 10 for at least 4 years, longer than anyone else besides Big4 in 2010s decade
@@thisisjuanhoyos there is stan, go double check
Nadal was in the top 10 for the entire decade. Every second. Let that sink in.
Were Federer and Djokovic not? Im not sure about Roger but i think Novak was too
@@andrejristic4956 Novak lost his true form due to injury in 2017 and dropped from top10 then, and Roger ranked 17th in begging of 2017 season because of some injuries too.
How much seconds he was no1 hm?
@@andrejmitrovic4958 I love how you just can't resist the temptation to come and bark into every single comment praising Nadal. And all you Noletards try to claim even so that Djokovic's fanbase is not the most cancerous from the Big 3's fanbases.
@@seboskribanek6890 lmao, he is the goat, just saying that fed and novak had more weeks, weeks at no1 are 10x more important than weeks at top 10.
That Gasquet backhand point...
His backhand is in my personal opinion probably the single most beautiful shot in men's tennis.
That point is one of my all-time favourites.
Fun Fact:Rafael Nadal,Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are the only players to win the year end world No 1 title in the 2010's decade
You forgot Federer

"every top 10 player from 2000s" was about 25 minutes long, and this is 16 minutes long! shows how consitent the players were (Stan, ferrer, berdych and nishikori etc...) and how dominant the "BIG 4" was!!! great video!!!
Or how subpar the competition outside the very top was. It can be argued both ways.
Nishikori? Consistent? Are you serious?
Nishikori is consistent?
Big 3* not big 4 btw
@@benzo7433 Murray is an overhyped Roddick with a lot more luck.
Did anyone else see at 10:20 the ball boy thinks the ball is going out so he starts to get up to get it and stops when he’s sees Wawrinka running 😂
yop I missed it thank you for the highlight 👍
That Monfils defense ... absolutely insane
Rafa is now in top 10 for 800 consecutive weeks. First player to do so. He never slipped since he entered top 10 for the first time.
If WTA makes a video like this, it'll probably be triple the length of this one
Nadal Joined the top in 2005 and hasn't left since. Mind-blowing consistency
Was lucky not to drop to 11th in 2015. Agassi from late 1999 - early 2006 showed similar consistency for example
@@dickspringfield4497, is 7 years like 15 years and a half or more 🤔 and there is no luck 😑 he is better than most players even in his worst.
wAs LuCkY 😂 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Rafael_Nadal_tennis_season He finished in top 5 in year end ranking 🙃
And still it is Federer and Djokovic, who are over 300 weeks as world number one and not him...Lol
Surely he is the best of all time right now. I'd rather watch Federer but Nadal has to be commended for his fight it's just as an important attribute.
Who wants 1990s next?
Everyone!
YES
Yes please
Your video is a wonderful tennis video. Thank you again today. I learned a lot.
its a trip down the memory lane tbh , seeing all these players
0:51 I miss this djokovic. He used to hit everything basically as hard as he could haha. At some point he realized that taking 10% off of his shots would make it so that he never missed, and he ended up using shot placement and the most insane defensive movement of all time to become prime djokovic...but I miss that extra 10% of power on every shot. - don't get me wrong, hitting with max power on every shot was not the best version of djokovic...but it was just, to me, the most entertaining version of djokovic.
Same here I think he should have continued hard hitting till he turned 28 or something!!! The way he played in 2011 was just insane 🔥 but from 2012 he changed his style and lost many finals he should have won!!😓 But kudos to him he adapted according to time and still at the top of the game💯❤️
That Almagro volley reminded me of Nick Kyrgios his insane volley for some reason 8:17
Me too
Longest rally: 26 shots (Djokovic) Shortest rally: 2 shots (Tsitsipas)

Because he is a top 15 player who had a great season.
Berretini? I’m amazed Gulbis made it in

That's sad that a lot of this player was forgotten and I never have seen some of them
ROGER!!!!!!!!!!! Luv U!!!!!!
If this video was about world no.1s or even top 2 players in the world of the 2010s, this video would be 20s long. Only 4 players have been in the Top 2!
No non big 4 member has been in the top 2 since July 2005 Medvedev had a chance to break that if he beat Djokovic in the AO final but Novak kept the record going
Zverev entered the top 10 on 22 May of 2017, Djokovic's 30th birthday !
And he hasn't left it since that moment!
Que gran jugador Juan Martín del potro, ojalá se lo vuelva a ver compitiendo

And Rafa kicks off his 800th week in the top 10 ❤️
Really trying to figure out what's Tennis TV reasoning in ordering the players. They stary with the Big 4 but then it just feels random from there on
They started with the year end top 10 of 2009, who were top 10 at the beginning of 2010 and then whoever entered the top 10 subsequently.
@@ananyamishra1173 I guess that makes sense thanks. Even though players like Gonzalez and Monfils entered the top 10 in the 2000s for the fist time and it makes it feel like their order in 2010s is weird
42 players
Melzer Legend
I hope Sock can get it back. Very concerned about the future of American tennis.
Taylor Fritz? You obviously don’t know much about tennis
What about Diego Schwartzmann?
2020, not part of the previous decade
@@dancecommenter9305 true, he will be in the next decade video :))
What about Denis Shapovalov? He was top 10 briefly at the end of last season.

Even more, in tennis, rankings are updated every monday and between the friday where shapo should have bien in top 10 and thé rankings update, schwartzman took his place (if my memory IS good) so officially, shapo hasn't been in top 10
There are a lot of players you missed. Shapovalov and Rublev are two big examples.
Yea cause the 2010 decade already ended
Rublev , Schartwman?
NOVAK DJOKOVIC !

Do 90s now!!
Thiems my favorite
no Kyrgios how long does he intend to hide his lack of achievement behind his "I don't care" attitude?
Didn't realize that Hewitt wasn't a top 10 players in the 2010s
Well, he left top 10 in 2006
Rublev, Shapovalov and Schwartzman aren't here, bcuz they debuted in top-10 in 2020's.
Idrk if davydenkos winner was meant
I'm disappointed that, for roddick, you didn't show one of his famous 40 second service games haha. Just 4 aces and a quick towel off in between. The point you showed was nearly 40 seconds itself haha, so for an extra couple seconds you could have shown us 4 beautiful serves in a row haha.
Roger federer💪💪💪,
Where is Schwartzman?
so where is shapovaov
If jack sock can be here, anyone can.
virat baivab what are you talking about? Sock is an incredibly talented player, not to mention a 3/4 doubles grand slam champion, he has a great forehand and is one the best volleyers of all time
IDC federer is still the goat 🐐 forever

This is special for Novaxxx Djokovid fans: get the 2000's list, compare it to the 2010's list, and tell me what "WEAK ERA" really means for you 😂😂😂
God. Remember Gonzales? Tennis's biggest ass by a mile
I think is unanimous that Khachanov was the worst top 10 player of the decade
This video only hammers through just how weak this era is, that the top 10 can feature such guys as Fish, Berrettini, Schwartzman, Monfils, Simon, Monaco, Verdasco, Khachanov, Isner, Dimitrov, Carreno Busta, Youzhny, Fognini, Melzer, Goffin, Gonzalez, Tipsarevic, Gulbis, Anderson, Pouille, Sock, Gasquet, Almagro, Shapovalov, and Bautista Agut. Even Thiem, Cilic, and Wawrinka, who have slams, are nothing special at all and their results prove it. Some of those names shouldn't have even been top 20 and would not have been top 20 if they played in the 90s. Djokovic, Fed, & Nadal have only won as much as they have because they didn't have to contend with prime Agassi, Sampras, Courier, Lendl, Becker, Edberg, Kafelnikov, McEnroe, Connors, Rafter, Chang, Muster (for clay events), Kuerten (for clay events), Ivanisevic, Stich, or Bruguera (for clay). Seeing Melzer, Tipsarevic, Gulbis, Youzhny, Sock, Berrettini, or Monaco in their draw is like unwrapping an extra gift on Christmas.
Novak is the most luckiest player in this decade. Fedal still stronger
Luckiest? Lol
