28:05 this is actually a really interesting fact! elephants hold grudges for over a hundred years, they do it generationally too! apparently it happened to a village before. years before, hunters killed some elephants in the area and so the rest of the group held the grudge. the elephants descendants attacked the village because of it! elephants are cool :)

i'm actually astounded at how good sean's pc is. Running shaders with a high resolution texturepack and high render distance at good framerates takes some power

I love how his mic changes from a nice clear voice, to the natural and more rugged voice whenever he changes his perspective. Fits in well.
while playing he uses the mic on his earpieces/headphones but while filming voiceovers he uses a recording mic which sounds much clearer

Just letting you know a couple of things I've learned while playing this game: if you are trying to something for chickens, put the seeds in your offhand and build like that - they will still follow you and you won't have to chase them around. That and the poisoned effect will only bring you down to half a heart - it is still dangerous because a light summer's breeze can kill you, but the poison won't outright.

ive tried watching other 100 hundred days vids but there's something about this dude's storytelling skills and humor and playstyle that i literally cannot enjoy other youtubers playing those 100 days things

Alex Mobs is one of my favorite mods (it's what put the giant wasp, the racoon, the douchebag crows, the elephant and the evil haunted sand twister) so I love how the unrealistic parts of the mod (which is half realistic half fantasy) totally threw Forge for a loop. :D It is pretty funny to see those when you expect a realistic experience. Btw all of the animals have uses and quirks, which is why I love that mod. They're not just neat things that are only for meat/leather/feathers. Like the crows are real bros when you tame them with pumpkin seeds. Love those lil rascals. The nightmare giant bug (tarantula hawk) is also tameable! :D Get that utter nightmare fuel on your side and let it breed so it can kidnap a spider and implant eggs in it. :)))) While I would adore if Sean would learn about how to use the mod, I really love seeing people's reaction. Sean not being some veteran player is what makes these fun to watch because it adds to the story aspect. If you could just gimmick your way out and had no fear and full knowledge, it takes away some of the tension.

This has got to be the most chaotic, depressing, frustrating, unforgiving, troubling, difficult episode yet. I couldn't believe how much death was in this episode I mean 0 deaths ever. In all seriousness holy crap this mod pack literally made me feel the bitter stress you had to deal with lmao that entire- this to me is the most chaotic episode of 100 days in forever.
He would have had an easier time if he had read his starting book. All of the new animals/monsters, and how to tame them, were detailed in it. But he did get lucky though, he didn't run into a drop bear in the nether.

Pro tips for future modpacks: Standing in water cools you down so if you want anything to do with lava in general it shouldn't be as frustrating 🙂

this is indeed the most realistic mod ive seen, the fact the the elephants track ur location to kill you, truly realism
What happens with the Elephants on day 31 has to be one most funniest and realistic things i have see happen on Minecraft ever. Elephants will absolutely hold grudges and it is somewhat common on some places in India for Elephants to enter a village and cause a ruckus from stomping people, to eating food, to destroying things. There was once an Elephant nicknamed Bin Laden because of how infamous he was after storming and killing some people on multiple villages.
I think its hilarious how Minecraft's normal healing is probably more realistic than the weird campfire thing this modpack had

Pretty much every death he gets in theses are from going somewhere he has no business in with how little gear he has at the moment, then getting destroyed by whatever he was fighting, then goes on to be completely surprised and confused on how he died.

Have you considered breaking with the formula of surviving 100 days and trying to finish challenges in a limited time? Something like “making an unsiegable city in 100 days” or some other big project? I think it would be cool to see your process for doing stuff other than surviving, with or without mods.

The best part that I love about Sean is that he learns every skill or knowledge by his own experience. Not from wiki or videos but trying. You can tell that he has grown a lot since his first 100 days video. I even think that this is how we should play games. Discover everything by ourselves and enjoy the joy as we find another secret hidden in the games that we didn't know.

Shaun getting stomped on by elephants is the funnyest thing to me. Also, the fact that shaun aleays builds a huge fortress but then sleeps elsewhere is just *chef's kiss* brilliant comedy

Sean, even though I laugh so hard at your videos, you gotta start a series in vanilla Minecraft to get the basics of the game, so you don't suffer so much when playing modded. If you do start a vanilla series, you could read the comments and learn from us! I think it would be great!

He would have burnt to death if he were to wear the golden armour, notice that he didn't wear any armour whilst beeing in the Nether, that's because he couldn't, not to mention that he was mostly targeted by zombie pigmen, not reuglar ones, they simply don't give a f about golden armour
Those, “Giant Mosquitoes” you kept encountering are Cazadors from Fallout New Vegas. The advancement, “The game was rigged from the start” further enforces that theory as that is one of the first lines said in the game.

This dude is literally his own worse enemy. He makes so many decisions that absolutely screw him that were all easily avoidable. The worst one for me was he kept on opening the trap door next to the block that his chickens could use to get out instead of the one literally ONE BLOCK IN! Aaaaaaahahahahahahahah, WHY?!

He is legitimately his own worst enemy. Usually gets his ass kicked until he remembers to make a shield, and then either doesn't use the shield of panics. Constantly using the wrong tools to break blocks (one of my pet peeves). Why use a block of dirt to break a crafting table when you have an axe? Wonders why he's getting trampled by chickens at the end while holding seeds in his hand. And on. And on. And on. I still love to watch. Maybe the problem is me.
1:02:05 - "Then there's this guy. I don't even know how he got in." 1:02:16 - Walks through open gap in fence line created by stairway. 1:02:21 - Watches zombie use the same open gap. Said gap can be be traversed in the other direction with no jumping required. Also, how is the Zombie suddenly burning? Head gear on zombies and skeletons will take durability damage when they're out under the sun, and this zombie was wearing GOLD armor which has very little durability. IOW, the Zombie's gold helmet broke, allowing the sun to set the Zombie on fire.
For your food situation. I would start by punching grass immediately after spawning. Start planting wheat right away, and as soon as you can, build a cow crusher, and hook it up to a smoker/ item sorter. P.S. the zombie piglin probably came from a pig that was hit by lightning. Same with the witch, I would guess.

All you need is a good i5 with enough ram
The shader isn't too impressive + KZhead only shows max 60 fps + the texture pack doesn't even lag more than vanilla it only uses more vram and vram isn't really a problem if you only store ~300 textures
Anyone gonna talk about how in 57:35 he got 4 chickens from one egg, which is a thing that has a 1/256 chance of happening (yes, it is a real thing that can happen in vanilla minecraft)
