winlator 2.0 custom wine installation process preview

1. enter winlator app. in the left drawer click "settings". click "install wine" button to select an archive file (.tar.xz format).
2. wait , until the wine is started, and winecfg is shown. check the version and close the winecfg window. wine process should be closed automatically.
3. wait, until it finished. then create a new container with custom wine.
note:
the first release of 2.0 apk has problem with custom wine installation.
there're two places in apk's dex needs to be modified.
wait for the author to fix it or follow the constructions to modify them yourself( if you are in a hurry to try it)

  • Winlator 2.0 was delisted..and also what does custom wine versions even do? Do they give you a fps boost somtimes or are they just reskins?

    • wine's compatibility varies from versions to versions. some games can only start on wine8 and above, and some will receive flashing screens on higher wines. there are also some other new features, like dxvk requires wine7 and above.

  • Hi mine x64 not installed but opening takes forever loading but when i install x86 it works my device sd695 it supports x64 arm but still let me know what's the problem here.

  • Why did the Wine installation process fail after selecting one of the Wine tar.xz files from kron4nik? The last updated version of Winlator on Github 2.0 caused this issue.
