Sabatello focuses so much on wrestling he forgets to throw out damage, he’s so one dimensional and has absolutely no power. Good fight by Stots and in my opinion he should of won a unanimous decision.
41:14 poor decorum by the blond fighter after the decision. Him snatch his hand away from the ref and looking to storm out the right is showing up the organization including the judges. His wrestling skills are top notch but it doesn’t force the opponent in submission or earning points. Very questionable on the judges rendering a split decision rather than a unanimous victory for the winner
It would have been too frustrating to see that phellow Sabattello declared a winner, just for hugging the other guy so much. That Sabattello needs a boyfriend to hug all the time.
That's why the match was fixed.. The judges made sure he wouldn't advance

Sabatello suffers the same problem his stablemate Gamrot does. He keeps shooting and once he gets these TD’s he spends more time working for position rather than doing damage.

To me, it looked like Sabatello was winning the match. Either way, the Stots haven't played a triumphant game in this matchup.
Wrestling and spamming takedowns doesn’t win you the fight unless the opponent does 0 damage
@@dommazeti18 I understand that modern MMA judge tend to be that way. But when Sabatello was doing nothing over Stots, there was a scene where Stots couldn't do anything under Sabatello, either. This fight was a Mixed Martial Arts, requiring all elements of striking, wrestling and grappling to compete, with Stots excelling in striking and Sabatello excelling in wrestling. Either way, the strength of the two was evenly matched in this battle.

Great fights, but Bellator, can you please get some fighters on the commentary team? Mauro is just not fun to listen to, trying to make jokes the whole time. I'd much prefer hearing someone talk about the moves fighters are making and positioning.
If you're an MMA enthusiast, this fight was outstanding the grapplings chess match is beautiful to watch. I see why so many folks were talking about this fight after it happened but as far as folks saying Sabatello was robbed. My question is HOW🧐🤔was he able to secure positions Sure did he do anything with those positions No you can't just hold dudes down and expect to win he accumulated no damage didn't attempt any submissions he laided prayed Stots didn't blow'em out of the water and did nothing spectacular simply just did more standing accumulating visible damage. That's the difference Stots bare minimum decisions during the fight remember it's mixed martial arts not singular

I can't believe this was split... Danny did nothing for the entire fight. Hugging someone for 20 minutes is worthless. That judge needs to be looked into. Even Stots at least tried and almost got a submission.

You must of been on the wrong channel if you had Sabatello winning every round. He won rounds 1 and 4 and really the 4th could've gone the other way. The only round that was clear he won was the first. Sabatello didn't land 10 significant strikes in the entire 25mimutes. Control isn't worth more than striking. It's fighting not wrestling. Really Sabatello didn't land 5 significant strikes. 2 punches and 1 head kick is really all that he landed the entire fight.

I think Sabatelo won easily 4 of the 5 rounds. Some of these judges have no business being fight judges. Stots was totally dominated.
I was in the building , sabatello absolutely dominated. I could not believe the scorecards.

You can't win doing nothing but control after takedowns,stotts did more striking while being controlled plus won the standup easily, plus went for the only submissions, it's not a wrestling match

For someone that talks about smashing faces in in carparks and the such, Sabatello does next to no damage at all. The first fight I saw him in was against Brett Johns, and I didn't seen him throw a stinging punch during that fight or since. Dude just hugs people, which is fine (he's clearly a skilled wrestler with a beastly gas tank) but he talks as though he's a KO threat when clearly he's not.

Raufeon... might be one of the worst fights ive ever seen in my life. Ive seen bantamweight women fights more exciting. And he bragged about it, dude got maybe 3 or 4 clean hits in the whole fight and it was with your elbow on the top of his head, other than that you got dominated every round and every time you had a dominant ground position he reversed it within 30 seconds. You couldnt get away from the dude and literally struggled for the whole fight but won somehow. This is like don king

The guy giving 50-45 was retarded . It was the same judge that gave it to paddy the baddy vs Jared . Spamming takedowns scores 0 points , dunno what he was thinking . Round 1: sabetello because no one did any damage so control gets judged . Round 2: stots had way more significant strikes so wins him round . Round 3: stots better striking . Period . All sabatello did was grab and hold him Round 4: stots great shot in first minute of round . Sabetello had a minute of control time but then stots got the jab going again . 50/50 round Round 5 : stots good jabs . Damage on Danny starting to show . All sabetello did was hold stots in this round .
