That's a shame someone let this car get to this state, these cars are amazing reliable and top of the line back in the day, plus the drive like they are on rails,my Dad was a engineer and in his younger years back in the 60s and 70s all he drove were M-B''s , when he got older he became a little more frugal and started driving other brands but ill always remember him telling me "nothing drives like a Mercedes Benz" , mind you this was back in the day when only certain people drove these cars and they were status symbols, these days the school janitor has a new one plus the quality and build and style is just not there anymore, glad to see it rescued! Ill share a personal memory, i actually accompanied my Dad to a dock to pick up a brand new 450 SL straight from Germany, had a quart of gas in it, blue , this must have been early 70s,sign some papers and off we went! i was little but i remember it vividly, something else i will never forget on these older models is the noise the doors make when they close, its like a air lock, lol, why did my old man decide to buy it from overseas i have no clue but thats how it went down.

Respect for your work!!!
So beautiful, she deserves all our respect! In Brazil there were plenty of them in the 70s, but they were all gasoline because diesel was prohibited for use in light vehicles, as is the case to this day, hugs, Rio de Janeiro!
Świetna robota💪
I enjoyed to silent film episode of your 240 D I have the same car 1983 I love it. It is like an old 36 or 40 HP VW solid and slow as hell.
I drove in the mid 80ties this 240 D as a cabdriver. A top car with lots of klmtrs on the counter.
Nice Video. Thank ya for that memorys
I love your job. Well done! Very nice video ❤

Excelente video con un legendario Mercedes, saludos desde Costa Rica!
When they were real Mercedes, works like a clock nice healthy, what a gem. I wonder "Flexiny" is this motor something related to vw seat engine code AFN tdi? Because the sounds is kinda related and the head looks kinda similiar but on the vertical side. Continue all the good work guys, always excited to see the notification to see a good, realiable car. God bless you guys
