I think if you look at the track record of american wars going back really to the beginning, the excitement is strongest at the beginning, then decreases monotonically until the war ends. If i were Ukrainian, i wouldn't count on american support getting any better as time goes on. What youre getting right now is the best youre gonna get, even if this aid bill does go through

Why has nobody asked this very simple question? NATO was setup as Western defence against the Soviet Union and the Walsall packed. So why is NATO still in existence nearly 40 years after the end of the wall coming down?
The purpose of NATO was to institutionalise the American occupation of Europe and subjugate it to American interests. Excluding the Soviet Union came second - because a Europe united with Russia would have been to difficult for the Americans to dominate. When you understand its true purpose everything else becomes clear.

The Russian armed forces carried out 34 group strikes with missiles and drones on military and energy facilities of Ukraine in the past week in a response to the attempts by Kiev to damage Russian energy and industry facilities. EU and Ukraine are alarmed, Russia not so much.

When Ukraine drone strike a drone factory of Russia, it just means the some backup warehouses across the border with Ukraine will received less drones for few days until the factory is fixed, plenty of factories still mass produce drones for the war. However, if Russia striked one factory of Ukraine, it may be the only one or those little remainning left, Ukraine cannot repaired anything striked by Fab-500. The same for energy infatructure, Ukraine is more and more depend to Europe's energy infastructure.
As soon as that attack happened in Moscow, it ceased being a special military operation. Russian officials confirmed it themselves. This is now a war proper. This explains the Russias bombing targets they otherwise wouldn't have hit. Because those targets do hold strategic value. Their aim was to minimise the damage when this was a special military operation. Since that has gone by the wayside, the list of credible targets has grown significantly. In the coming days I predict you'll see massive moves and massive strikes on targets that were ignored for the last two years. Train stations. Bus depots. Highways. Rail junctions. Warehouse facilities. The list goes on. Since the definition of this conflict has changed, all of those targets are now on the table... You thought the destruction was significant before? Expect it to increase tenfold...

Russia started massive production of heavy gliding bombs and FAB 3000, 5000 and 9000 that as powerful as N-bombs.
The 5000 and 9000 you won’t see. The main issue is none of the current stock of planes can carry the 9000. Also when they tested the 9000 they found that the bomb had no more power then the 3000 bc of the fact the charge would not burn all the way and the explosive power was wasted. They tested them at the end of WW2. They have never done more with them bc of that fact and also to drop a 9000 you would need to fly your bombers over the front and they can’t do that right now. I could only see them using a 5000 as a bunker buster but that bomb suffers from the same issue as the 9000. That’s why we most likely will never see them. They arnt worth the trouble. This is also a problem even with the 3000. The only plane that can carry them is the TU-22M and Russia does not have many of them and they don’t see the point in risking them right now
@@rickandbrandonshow Correct Tu-22M is incapable of carrying FAB-9000. The unmodified Tu-22 was the last aircraft to carry it. Also people are misusing the term FAB. That is the Soviet designation for unguided gravity bombs. Not bombs with glide kit modification.

I served for the USA during the late 80’s and early 90’s. I’ve watched this war for over a year now. The scariest and most impressive thing is that Russia has not even brought out the big guns yet. The fab 500 is impressive but imagine the fab 3000. Russia has an endless supply of them but so far Russia considers them to destructive for what they are achieving. So imagine if NATO gets involved and they start with the fab 3000’s.

Look, the official casualties reported by the Russian Minister of Defence are around 1000 a day, not 2000. And the total AFU losses can't be so high. I don't know where you got these numbers but they are wrong. Also a troop is a group of soldiers, or troopers. So what you say is totally incorrect.

I feel we wish that we would be over with this war now but 1.3 million looks like wishful thinking. The Russian ministry announced 500k one or two months ago. That is extremely high just like 700 to 1.000 soldiers a day. Unimaginable loss. What is surprising for me when the West dangles some hope like a carrot in front of Ukrainian soldiers they carry on with the fighting, with the unwinnable war. Anyone who is able to do basic calculations knows that Ukraine can not win. Impossible. But the West is ready to fight to the last Ukrainian.

What bothers me is the destruction of S400 anti-missile defence systems by incoming missiles from Ukraine. Perhaps anti-missile technology of Russia is in need of immediate modernisation. How can one expect armament production factories inside Russia to be safe from Ukrainian missile attack? It is widely suspected British operators are actually launching and guiding these missiles to the target.
And since when an anti-aircraft system little intercepted 100 percent of the missiles and in addition the opponent in front reflected and but new tactics in addition must be stupid to think the Ukrainians will remain with their arms crossed
One launch vehicle can only shoot down 4 targets.
I think (some) Russian missiles are more advanced that the Western counterparts, but Patriot is probably superior to any Russian air defence system. That is why Ukraine was able to hold for so much long. Also the missiles used by Himars are something Russia struggled to shot down, proving the Himars is somehow better that any similar weapon in force to the Russian army. But you know, overall Western technology has always been more advanced than Russian technology, but Russia somehow invested a lot in ICBMs, as a deterrent. And in that regard, Russia is the one to lead.
@@whitefalcon630 correction - 2 targets in the base case scenario. It's almost never that fewer than 2 interceptors are launched per target. Although, the approach might be slightly different when we're talking of drones/missiles with different speeds/evasion capabilities in comparison with an aircraft.
@@biomorphic Corrections the Patriot is a Phase Array automated tracking and AA system it has close to no talent destroying Cruise missiles and low flying drones. It has 5 min window to theoretically shoot down missiles that enter into a glide phase. Its not an advanced weapon The field data shows it doesn't work! HIMARS, The Russians have their own HIMARS called Tornado S Has 160km range while HIMARS only has a 100km range max. ATACMS, A long range missile that the HIMARS truck can fire the Ukrainians recieved cluster type of these. 7 of them were shot down out of 12. The Russians have their own ATACMS called Iskander. The Ukrainians were not able to shoot down an Iskander in the SMO yet. And looking at the weapon it won't happen any time soon. Iskander is also nuclear capable.. So have a goodnight sleep after that!

The Russians need equipment that preserves their manpower, while reducing that of Ukraine. Electronic warfare equipment, battle robots and autonomous drones with long ranges. And more hackers that can hijack and destroy infrastructure without a shot being fired.

Your assessment that Stoltenberg's invitation of Zelensky to Europe is for protection is incorrect. If you recall, Zelensky claimed around February/March 2024 that the Russians tried to kill him when he visited Odessa with the Greek Prime Minister. Shortly after the allegation, Russia published overhead video of a previous visit of Zelensky to Zaporizhzhia which indicated that the Russians have the capability to assassinate him if they want. Thank you for your informative updates. In your next comprehensive video, please highlight the 1st and 2nd Ukrainian defence belts. Thank you in advance.
In summary, the Russians are slowly overwhelming the AFU with resources and fire power. But Ukraine continues to offer organized and reasonably effective resistance. If Ukraine does not collapse, the Russians are years from achieving their political objectives through military means. For whatever reason, the Russians are unable to suppress Ukrainian artillery, unable to suppress Ukrainian HIMARS which continue to inflict damage and are unable to completely suppress Ukrainian air defense.
Try to remember, Ukraine has nothing. Nato has it. Nato fires the hymars, nato has all the satellites, tanks, ifv's, howitzer etc. Ukraine is not fighting Russia, Nato is. And nato is loosing.
