I've had this Idea for a while who agrees with me --Sticky Redstone Dust should me a thing, you surround a slimeball with redstone dust = you get 8 sticky redstone dust, sticky redstone dust can be placed on walls and ceilings and all the above. Thumbs up for mumbo to see!! :D

The Bumboni Mod: Add mumo’s redstone ideas, create all of the ‘oni’ characters into mobs (caconi, balloni, etc) and they could spawn in specific places or structures and have special drops, and maybe have structures that are from hermitcraft or pay a homage to it and Mumbo’s redstone creations.

hmmm... I fixed a bug with the rotators (the pulsing repeaters)... now the flamethrower is not throwing flame (as it was the same effect)... will now add a special case for a few blocks (droppers,dispencers,observers specifically)

I remember the RedPower 2 mod from Tekkit way back in 1.2.5. Most of the logic gates you could make were consolidated into individual blocks, and not only could redstone be placed on walls and ceilings, but you could color code your circuits so they didn't interfere with each other in tight spaces. You could make ludicrously complex contraptions and have them be tiny compared to what they'd be in vanilla.
RSWires has similar functions for newer MC versions but last I checked it was still poorly documented (you can see recipes with JEI or NEI, they don't show up in the normal recipe book).

I actually have a use for the capacitors, I make pseudo capacitors in vanilla using a couple of logic gates, but they’re good for temporarily storing the on state of hidden stairs to prevent the staircase from jamming the door as it closes.
What about a component which right clicks the other component it's powered next to? If you put it next to a repeater and power it it will alter the tick delay of it. If you put it next to a comparitor it'll toggle the subtract mode. Put it next to a note block it'll retune it to a different note, etc. With options to alter how many times it right clicks the other component with a single powering (so if you put it next to a repeater you can jump from 2 tick to 4 without going through 3, or retune a C note block into G without having to run through D, E, and F).
Would make songs with choruses that are just riffs higher or lower much easier

You should check out the Quark mod, it has a few redstone-related features you may like. Botania (a mod by the same person) also has the Force Relay, which is cool, but actually not that useful for vanilla redstone as far as I can tell.

The force relay is actually superbly useful in making large pistons doors, its simply complicated. Since moving it with a normal piston will push the linked block in that direction, but moving it with a sticky piston won't, you can set up a caterpillar system for the floor of an elevator or for the wall of a piston door - you can have it flush and have the pistons hidden in a circuit under the floor. That being said it isn't very vanilla-esque.

The thing you create with the rotator is actually called "bus transceiver", and it can be put into a third (disconnected) mode with some additional work. I can definitely see this being useful in larger builds!
Or you could use commend blocks to make a CPU! The rotator would create a transistor.

There's actually an entity detector already in Minecraft. You can use pufferfish and detect when they update. Because when somebody gets near a pufferfish, they puff up!
How do you detect when they update though? Do they trigger observer blocks?

Wireless redstone was a thing back in the 1.2.8 days (perhaps longer!). I remember it being in a Tekkit pack. The rotator blocks I think are a pretty new idea but it wouldn't work on most of the construction blocks and utility blocks in the game, unless that is, you also have a mod that allows for sideways fences/walls, chests, half slabs, etc. The redstone crossroads and directional switcher ideas can be easily recreated using mods like Computercraft or Red Power 2 via their potential to have entire circuits in a single block of volume.

being able to rotate a hopper would be useful for compact storage solutions and by rotating the hopper you can send specific items to specific chests
Another cool redstone component could be a memory block essentially its a block that you turn on manually... when its turned on it records all the redstone inputs going into it for up to 20 seconds ( this means every pulse going into it... so if you flick a lever a few times and it sends 4 pulses it records those pulses ) then when you turn of the memory block it saves the input and then when its powered by another redstone signal coming from the side it outputs the recorded pulses. if you manually turn on the block again it wil reset and start recording again when you break the block its still saves the input pulses ( so you can actually copy th recorded pulses )

I havent watched this yet. But heres MY redstone ideas: (im not a redstone engineer. Im learning) Glue: glues items to one another to replace slime blocks Rotator : rotates blocks. Has no block limit. Placer : Places the block you place inside it in front of it. If theres already a block in front it. It pushes it and places the one you want it to place. Remote spawner: a regular spawner. But it spawns when you power it with redstone. Bluestone: same as resstone but you can place it in the same block as redtone so you can cross different circuits without having to make another path like a bridge.
Glue would be amazing. Imagine making really nice piston doors, simple and slime block free.

I think the capacitor would be best used in traps, for instance have it powered by a redstone torch and hooked to another redstone torch thats connected to your trap. When someone steps on the trap the redstone torch power source for the capacitor would deactivate leaving the capacitor as a self reseting timer for the trap so it wont activate if the player is running past it and wouldnt be affected. If they are in place staying in range of the trap it would then go off.

Have you played around with the ProjectRed mod at all? It adds some neat things such as insulated wire, wire that can be placed on walls and ceilings, wire that can be placed *in the air*, cables that contain 16 different redstone lines in one block, and all sorts of cool stuff like that. The insulated wire is like bluestone on steroids.
You can build an awesome combination lock using the wireless levers by making it so they need to put the pattern in correctly to open the door otherwise one part close and another opens

I've been wishing you could rotate stuff for YEARS, but also my idea of it involved smooth rotation and connected blocks moving with the center block, so you could make a windmill
There's an AWESOME MOD that's called "Create" It's for 1.14.4 though so you have to have that installed You should check it out ( I'm not self promoting, it's really awesome and you should try it) Just search a video on KZhead called "This is Create"

3:58 there's a way to do redstone crossroads that I'm currently studying ... But it involves a lot of controlled redstone torches using powered blocks to turn off and on.....the torches that are controlled then can acrtivate a piston to switch where the powered block is supposed to be. ..... Then you use repeaters or comparators to retrieve the power from the powered block...

You power the block....using the power from the powered block....as it remains powered you can use it's power to power a piston that pushes the powered block to the redstone it has to be in....then you use a redstone torch that is controlled...under the powered block that's already been moved....with the redstone input to control if that block should remain powered or not......I really can't explain more.....a unpowered block won't make the piston push it because there is no power...but the powered block will make the piston move it and the redstone that powered the block also powers a torch that can keep that original block powered...now its at station one, next....the powered block can be retracted and pushed by another piston that's powered from a new power source, only for the piston.....because the redstone source is giving off power...the block when in it's second station should also be powered so once again using the redstone source...and a few burnt out torches(or only one burnt out torch) you can power up the block with the second source ..... There now you have a crossroad.....not using repeaters, but using pistons....to push the block to it's station where it gets powered by a torch that got powered by the source.....then using a observer, it will detect the block getting pushed towards it, so it gives off another redstone signal to a redstone lamp....on top of that lamp you have the redstone to both recieve the power and give power from the source to option 1 (moving to station 1)
Now that I think it through it can be a lot simpler😅

Here are a few of my ideas: 1. A redstone splitter: basically a repeater, but which can be set to do any of the following: Turn a corner. Split a single input into two outputs(in any combination of directions). Split a single input into 3 outputs. Join 2 or more inputs into a single output. 2. Smart comparator: Same thing as a comparator, but when in subtract mode, output = (main input) - (right input + left input). Also has an addition mode which does the exact opposite of subtraction mode(adds the signal strengths together). 3. Zero tick repeater: The title says it all. 4. Vertical redstone: Yes, we have half slab and transparent block towers, but what I want is a way to send a signal straight up and straight down a 1x1 tower without relying on slime blocks, torches, or observers. Slime blocks because of push limits and stickiness, torches because of delays, inversions, lag, etc, and observers because they send a one tick pulse at the beginning and end of the pulse you want to send, rather than one consistent pulse. 5. Certain redstone components should become more powerful the stronger the signal they receive: Powered rails = speed, dispensers = range, noteblocks = volume, etc.
