Neither Brock or Conor can return unless they're in the USADA testing pool and pass the tests. If anyone is on Twitter it makes perfect sense why USADA backed out. The statement that I read is that USADA refused to make an exception for MCGregor during this current period of time for testing. Basically they're saying Dana requested them to look the other way so Conor could fight this year and USADA refused to make that exception. Tired of making exceptions for Conor when it comes to testing. Bad for their reputation and integrity if they allow him. If it's on Twitter and it's true then Dana can't sue for libel/slander.
ive learnt that this is a tactic in our world today, people forget so quickly and its easy to say "im gonna sue" and then not do anything or half ass something to make it seem like you did.

I would have made the same conclusion had I not watch the 1 hour long interview with Hunter Camping and Nowitzki posted yesterday that they cross-examed everything USADA said. -- It had nothing to do with Connor. The deal is up at the year and UFC wouldn’t renew the contract (4years deal). UFC represents 28-30% of USADA revenues. UFC already told USADa they are weren’t going to renew. USADA flipped out, and was concerned that they are no long considered the gold standard for combat anti doping if the partnership with UFC ended. Connor will not receive any exception because after USADA contract is up, he would still be in another pool of the new partnership UFC is bringing in. Now, I don’t believe everything from both sides, and will remain skeptical until all the chips fall where it may.

I personally think they should just let them. They should be strict on the weight cutting, but not the PEDs. We want as many fights as possible with the best fighters, in order for them to recover and train as much as they need, they need PEDs. And that is unfortunately the truth for any elite sport.
They went to DFSI, they handle some of the big organizations in sports.

UFC hated USADA and complained about them whenever mentioned. Dana White, incidentally, scrapped the whole "no rules" format of the whole championship when he bought the Gracies out and wanted accreditation. Dana White either likes or hates whatever gets him or costs him a dollar.
They had a good relationship with them for a while don’t try to paint a narrative that isn’t real, watch the press conference they did with hunter campbell

The "greatest of all time" is whoever is in Danas' good graces on that particular day. This is especially true if they're making him money. There is no money in him calling Demetrious or GSP the greatest of all time in their respective division.

**For anyone that needs a synopsis** UFC wants Conor to fight and USADA doesn’t want to use an exemption for the 6 month period but still have 2 drug tests. UFC has the ability to say they want to waiver the 6 month probation on Conor because they view it as unfair. But with USADA, they disagrees as to if Conor should qualify for an exception. There was an ESPN article talking about this and here’s a quote. -“There was a written exception to that rule. The UFC could waive the six-month rule for a fighter if it were deemed unfair to said fighter. But that fighter would still have to pass two drug tests. USADA said in November 2022 that in the case of McGregor, it felt such an exemption would not be applicable. In other words, USADA wanted McGregor to spend at least six months in the drug-testing pool before competing again.” Nothing here sounds like the UFC wants fighters on all the “supplements” why fighting but they do appear to want to have the final say so as to if USADA has the right to say no to a 6 month requirement for the testing pool.
