    • 1888? My grandad was 1 year old. Still can't believe I actually knew someone from that far back. I used to get compliments about my hair when I was young. It's not as shiny and silky now. I'll need a fountain of youth pill to hear those compliments again. But I'll bet you continually hear compliments regarding EVERYTHING about you. You are such a wonderfully well-formed woman. If I had a time machine, I would love to travel with you. That was a great movie by the way "The Time Machine" from 1960. Based on the H.G. Wells book. Definitely watch that one if you haven't already. Thank you Diane, for another wonderful video. I really enjoy these. 🥰

It’s so amazing to see how unique each channel’s style is and the way that they present their creations is even gorgeous at times, it deserves as much credit as an art form as it can get!

It's the kind of thing you remember when you think about your favorite movies or shows. Maybe you never even noticed until someone recreated it. • @cashette foley effects are the post-film added sounds using physical props. Most scenes in movies where you hear things closing, being set down, opened, walking, cooking are all added afterwards. This might be because it's difficult to record sounds without echoes and extra noise, and some sounds don't make the noise that you expect them to. Look into some Foley creation videos. They're really interesting to watch!

  • You have enough talent to be making movies in Hollywood. The little details like the horse clip clomping outside past the hair parlour and the tingly sounds of hair brushing and close up of the Edwardian era accurate props are all just lovely and pure ART.

  • The production value of this is through the roof. If I could just live in this set for one day, I would be the happiest man alive. That aside, this persona was so lovely! Beautiful acting job, I felt like I was really there. The careful attention to detail, caring attentiveness and gentle sounds and smiles throughout truly made this an unforgettable experience. I can't wait for my next appointment! :)

    • Just goes to show that perhaps some fashion styles never go out of style. Personally, if there was one word to describe the Victorian or Edwardian era, it would be, "class." Because my favorite movie set back then was actually the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies.

    • @@humixmusic4lyf : I hope so! RDJ is a more traditional Holmes, while Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) are both close seconds, playing Holmes. But overall, I much prefer the Victorian era, as contrasted to the modern era.
