Start with more support than you think. You can always make it harder over time. With flexibility (as with strength training), your body will respond better if you slowly ramp up the intensity.

For sure, particularly if you are feeling tight on that day. That said, light RDLs or a lighter load for whichever hinge exercise you’re doing that day would also suffice 😊
