Uncle Gordon is a LEGEND
wtf is that panel ? This is comic GOLD ! A priest !?
oy! this is the only talk show I watch now, the rest are …. down the tubes sorry for silly pun. Gordon Ramsey came from nothing as most very successful driven men begin and he studied classic cuisine and is a master at his craft; of course he scoffs at vegans etc. I just loved the interview. The subsequent pseudo-wars concocted by the media between Jaimie Oliver and him were … stupid, most probably fake news, neither one has the time to count how many children each one has ….. think about that. I'm not supposed to add this but I am vegan and in compensation excessively admire both men's culinary art. (Ramsey would beg to differ on last word.)
What a long comment😱
I think the 'priest' fancied Gordon...
I got no problems with vegetarians or even vegans as long as they don´t take their ideology as a religion, I've got experience with that...
It's not an ideology, it's a diet. Many do it for a huge array of reasons. Some do it voluntarily while others don't.
@@0Scoops If you went vegetarian, (vague example) because you believe that the suffering of an animal is not worth just to pleasure humans, it doesn't count as an ideology?

@@RushIndustries I find it's meat eaters that are the insufferable ones. Any shared meal or family gathering where my vegetarianism is observed seems to be the trigger for others in attendance to launch into unprovoked, endless justifications regarding their meat eating. It's quite bad enough having to watch them tearing a cooked chicken apart and banging on about their pets, as though the hypocracy of purporting to be an animal lover whilst eating them has never crossed their minds, without provoking an argument about it. I bite my tongue and reevaluate my estimation of them in my mind.

A lovely style of interviewing Skavlan; reminds me of Sir Michael Parkinson.
Yeah, he's a conversationalist.
So I’m a vegetarian. I am only 13. The rest of my family eat meat. I made the decision to become vegetarian myself. I do not hold any hatrid or dislike towards people who eat meat. I am just a normal kid who doesn’t agree with the way animals get treated. I wish people would stop giving us horrible stereotypes like ‘we force our opinions on people and guilt trip them into not eating meat’ It’s not true. 80% of my friends do not even know I am vegetarian, as I never feel the need to talk about it. And I know there are vegetarians and vegans who do act annoying, and trust me it annoys me when I come across people like that, but there is no need to put a negative stereotype on everyone who follows a certain diet, it’s just cruel for all the normal veggies like me :(
Don't worry about it. Good for you.
Go back to eating meat. You aren't helping anything. Animals suffer more in the wild then on farms. On a farm they have medical care and never ending food. In the wild they get sick and suffer until death, not to mention they are prey for other animals...

Hello Uncle Gordon!

True very True....learn to cook for yourself... Great advice from Sir Gordon Ramsey
Gordon looks kind of Norwegian himself
I know all those stereotypes against vegetarians, like the need to tell everyone and that they are annoying because they hate everyone who eats meat. But jokes aside, most vegetarians don’t behave like that, and they deny meat because they want the world to become a better place. That sounds pretty selfless to me and I think it’s cruel to insult people like that. Although Ramsey is one of my fav chefs, he often tends to act a little childish (or „chefy“). My girlfriend of 3 years is vegetarian/vegan and she never tried to convince me to not eat meat, but she changed my point of view on what is going on in the world.
It's not that all vegetarians hate meat eaters, it's that the ones that do hate on them, shout the loudest, in other words, people like your girlfriend are behaving normally, but the ones thst don't, their whole personality is based on them being vegetarian. I don't think the people going the vegt. route are doing it for the selflessness, rather it's done to feel superior above the common man.
The government wants to control our outdoors I say let the world get hotter by golly gosh dem hr. Dale Gribble
i agree, we all have freedoms, but i still dont buy the environmental reasoning, you could be vegan and waste a lot of electricity, buying into the fast fashion and etc. ppl panicking about climate change when there are literal children starving/suffering, dont those come on the list first? wasting tax payer dollars on inefficient unsustainable sources of electricity like wind and solar when we could be doing nuclear energy which is safer than the media made it out to believe.
@@harmitsapra true that, being vegetarian isnt selfless, you "chose" that route yourself and you most likely did it bc youfelt good, quite ironic. its like coming out as gay is "brave" (which doesnt benefit anyone else but yourself i.e. not selfless)and you get awarded, but the military personnel which put themselves in harms way for our safety doesnt despite actually being seen as brave and selfless.

Lol vegetarians don't get protein? What a load of shit and quite surprising coming from a chef of his caliber. I guess he has never heard of lentils, pulses, eggs, cheeses (vegetarians are not vegans) and tofu. French cuisine honestly is terribly incomplete. It heavily relies on meat, butter and cream to make it rich and delicious. This explains why a chef of French cuisine thinks vegetarians diet is protein deficient. Indian cuisine for example is quite rich in complete vegetarian diets. Also, we are at a point where we can afford to have supplement proteins if ever needed. We don't live in the 19th century anymore. Technology in even food has advanced to the point where we don't have to depend on meat for our daily protein intake. Just be honest and admit that you love the taste of meat. Its perfectly fine. But to say some bs about vegetarians lacking protein and starch in their diets is ridiculous. Starch is even more ridiculous since rice and potatoes have more starches than any meat.
Found the fuckwit vegetarian
@@MichaelM28 wow what an intellectual and well though out reply. I am not even a vegetarian btw. I eat meat because it's delicious. But to pretend that vegetarian cuisine is inherently faulty and people eat meat to get proteins is a load of shit and factually wrong. It doesn't matter if you have 3 stars from a tyre company or 300. Ramsey, as great of a French chef he is, is wrong here.
@@PurushNahiMahaPurush finally I found someone who actually has a brain in this comments section. Good comment! Hi from Ukraine
See, the whole population wont go vegan in a single day. As the demand for meat will go down the breeders would stop breeding more animals. Therefore its a gradual process. As for the second question cattles and pigs consume 17times more than humans. With all that extra food we can save starving children of africa. Would you adopt this same, passive attitude if it were human babies that were being slaughtered and eaten? It seems logically inconsistent to acknowledge that great moral atrocities are being committed in factory farms, yet be indifferent about whether others demand the product of these atrocities. Akin to acknowledging that slavery is wrong, but its up to every individual slaveowner to make their own moral decision...

@@campbellj2344 hmmm,ok...
Also when you eat meat, you are technically consuming 70 times more plant life if you count plant as a life not to mention them being killed again
The point is more about suffering than life in general. Plants, as far as we can tell, because of that lack of a brain/nervous system, are not aware and cannot suffer. Therefore not a problem to "kill" and eat. Animals most definitely do suffer. I've never understood why people cannot get that and keep bringing up this argument about plants being alive.

We need to stand up for them, because they don't have voice of their own.
And what about all those chickens, pigs, cows, and fish that are brutally murdered? You are telling me u have never eaten a vegetable in ur life? Meat eaters actually kill an animals life. I really don’t like Gordon Ramsey
Excellent chef, terrible nutritionist.
U might be a good cook but not pure cook😏
Gordon Ramsay is so silly and annoying to say that. There's nothing wrong with vegetarianism and veganism. It's insulting to the vast amount of people worldwide who now follow these diets for health, religious, or ethical reasons. As a life-long vegetarian myself I don't go around bashing carnivores (it's their choice) and likewise I don't expect carnivores to attack or ridicule others for not being a carnivore.
Yes there is. Vegans are retarded who think they know better and eventually get sick because it is an unhealthy diet.
@@InfernalDaze but they don't get sick, that's the point. Meat is linked to colon cancer, and there is no disease directly linked to a plant based diet. Most vegetarians are very healthy and living well.
Yaamir I remembered the time when someone thought being vegan cured cancer
Yaamir that person died by cancer btw
FUCK VEGANS!!!
