👀 Do you captive breed the BCO? If so how can I follow you? Or, do have recommendations of breeders to follow? Edit: Oh my goodness, I found your FB page and realize you are in Colorado. I'm moving there and so excited there is a breeder who loves boas! I am hoping to add a companion to my collection so super excited to possibly connect with you in the future at a show!
I haven’t yet as my pair needs another few years of growth but for BCOs I recommend Ancient Reproductions. Not sure when you’ll be moving but I’m at most of the local shows and vend most as well but you can always reach out whenever

Very cool vid, I got lucky a few days ago and snagged a 5-6ft female for $300, she's really scared and I think the people were in a little over their head. I couldn't pass that offer up, she'll be confident in a few weeks I bet
I will eventually have one of these boas in my boa collection, love them. Wish I would have nabbed one 5-10 years back when they were in the $150 range... Now they're easily $600+(Maxx Pink line easily being over $1,000), just like one of my all time favorite boas: the Dumeril's boa (need one of these again as well, miss my girl dearly...). Good vid!
Are Argentine Boas able to withstand humidity fluctuations? Say 40 to 70%? For reference my Dumerils boa is thriving in his bioactive enclosure in a room that stays around 30/ 40% humidity. I don't mist him but I do keep his enclosure moist with plants. He's had clean sheds and isopods are thriving as well. Great video, really appreciate the knowledge
Not 100% sure. I try not to let most of my tropicals dip below 50 for extended periods if I can help it. Probably could if you provide a nice humid hide

How big can these actually get? I think they're one of the largest subspecies of boa constrictor...I am getting one next week.
Theoretically as large as the BCCs. 10-11+ feet although they typically are heavier so they are unofficially so side red the largest subspecies. There is all sorts of hearsay about max lengths but any boa over 11 feet is rare of BIs or of the BCs
