How Less Athletic Players Can DOMINATE the Game

Basketball is a game that definitely favors the athletic players by a mile... BUT, sometimes being less athletic can be flipped into a positive, if you have the skill and IQ to do so. In this video, I'll use four current European pros, Thomas Walkup, Kostas Sloukas, Nico Laprovíttola, and Marco Belinelli, to break all of this down.

  • I agree with your take on studying basketball that is more realistic than the NBA. It really helps. I watch a lot of college and highschool games as well for the more individual side of things. It helps a lot studying the less athletic guys even if your athletic.

  • I had a bad game yesterday (1 pt., 7 assists, 2 rebounds, 0/12 FG, 5 fouls) although we won. I am so ashamed because I practice a lot among my other my teammates combined, but I made nothing. On a positive side, I am one of the most conditioned players there, didn't even tired by a bit, and I can read the game easier than last time. But still, I want to be an elite scorer cause you know, I wanna play pro. Thanks Coach for this video I hope I can apply it as soon as possible.

    • Your bad game looks like a decent game compared to mine, I had 2 pts (fg), 2 assists, 4 rebs, and 2 fouls 😭

  • I haven’t watched this yet, but man I’m fired up. The amount of times watched Larry Bird or less athletic players to help me with my feel for the game growing up def had an impact

  • I would love to see an attention to detail on Colorado State Universities Isaiah Stevens. He's the leading playmaker in college right now and want to see a breakdown of his playstyle.

    • Paul Lacombe, a legend of SIG Strasbourg that sometime play for France, amazing all-around player without any athletic advantages apart his size. I think you could consider putting some clips of him, to show how to impact a game in a variety of ways
