I probably had around 2k hours in on this game throughout my childhood. Started playing it on the ps1 and continued playing through the ps2

That's how I used to play it. Build up your resources and army, put them on defense, then attack when strong enough. That was a good game!

the sounds of the bullets and missils are way more badass than red alert 2 sounds, and the soundtrack is just on its point as expected of red alert sequels.

I remember when Command and Conquer came out on PS, and later on PC. I Loved this game. Now I am about to start playing again after many years. You could have missile arrack subs, Nukes, and just a great strategy game all around. GG.

You should give your plaines a number like 1 or 2, with control button. Push 1 or 2 and they fly where you want. More missile throwers at the base side, so tanks are not moving/standing in front.

I love around 31:52 or so when one truck is selected for the weight of the Russian army to fall upon. "Steve?" "yeah." "I've got some bad news." "Oh no, what is it?" "It seems that the entire weight of the Russian army is coming....for you. Every plane, every tank, every man, woman and child is aware of you personally. In their barracks they have pictures...of you. And they hate you with every moral fiber of their being. They are calibrating their weapons based on the location of your hat." "Oh my. What can I do?" "There's nothing you can do. In fact we have to ask you to leave the building. Here, take a shovel and dig a hole or something. God's speed and good luck." (Steve looking very VERY concerned and anxious as enemy planes appear over the horizon.)

Unless you planning to build missile sub. Otherwise you can sell your tech center. the 2nd tier tech will remain open regardless.

6:20 with the old red alert i just fly the jet and sell the airport but keep the jet selected or just going to destroy it self and after you buy another airport you just click on the airport for let the jet going there without sell it

The problem I always had with skirmishes against the AI is that Easy is way too easy and Hard is too hard. On Easy the AI barely do anything. On Hard the AI attack straight away and seem to have unlimited funds. There's no medium difficulty.

Does the Red Alert Remastered game still process the Rules.INI file ? If yes, in which directory must the Rules.INI go ?

- Yes you can use it with the mujalli mod. It goes in the Red Alert folder wich you can find in your steamapps folder

- @@ThaBongSmoker there are several subfolders in the Red Alert folder, each have a RedAlert.ini, so I just put a copy of the rules.ini in each subfolder, it works

Has anyone noticed that Soviet SAM site looks very similar to NASAMS missile system? Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System?

- @@ThaBongSmoker Development of NASAMS began in the 1980s when Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA) teamed up with Hughes Missile Systems and Hughes Aircraft Ground Systems Group and initiated the program as a cooperative effort for the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF). As originally envisioned, NASAMS would replace two Nike Hercules facilities in defending Norway's southern air bases, where it would act in conjunction with F-16s in providing a layered defense.[10] The integrated air defense battle management command and control system, based on KS500F computers and the KMC9000 control console with two color CRT displays, was first developed for the Norwegian Adapted Hawk (NOAH) program,[11] an upgrade to the MIM-23B Improved Hawk semi-active radar head, surface-to-air missile system. This command and control system integrated existing AN/MPQ-46 High Power Illuminator Doppler Radar (HPIR) with AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar, modified into a three-dimensional low-altitude airspace surveillance radar with the TPQ-36A software upgrade. The upgraded NOAH would still engage only one target per launcher pad, which was insufficient to counter the emerging threat of massive firing of cruise missiles. Thus RNoAF ordered further development of a distributed, network-centric air defense system with multiple launchers and radars. The MIM-23B missile was replaced with the active radar homing AIM-120 AMRAAM missile, which also uses an inertial navigation system during initial approach, and the TPQ-36A radar was upgraded to the rotating AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel configuration. Test launches were performed in June 1993; the system had an initial operational capability in late 1994 - early 1995, and was fully operationally fielded in 1998.[citation needed] An enhanced NASAMS 2 was developed in the 2000s and became operational in 2006, while a third generation, NASAMS 3, was developed in the 2010s and fielded in 2019.

- It is that good. The graphics card doesn't change anything in this game because all the visual effects are pre-rendered. It's like a movie: for one given video file, as long as your graphics card can render it, it will look exactly the same as on any other PC. This game use things called sprites, you can look it up on the web. They are graphic tiles which are similar to GIF files if you will. A GIF will not render better on your computer just because you have a better graphics card. It's all or nothing: either your graphics card is powerful enough to render it or it's not. If it is, you can't do any better. This is pretty cool because you can say to your gamers "Here is how powerful your graphics card and your processor need to be" and you can be sure that the game will render perfectly on their machine.

- ypu should try the mujalli mod it makes the AI harder and fixes more stuff the AI will use supers and try to go around your defenses and more!

Вот не понятно одно. Зачем 38 мин то ?🤔. На 15 мин когда были уничтожены "Главштабы" можно было снести казармы и гаражи (авиацией) и противник бы попродавал всё своё добро (здания) и пришел бы в "гости". Где получил бы по рогам и конец игры

AI in CnC is lame. Its not hard to win even for me. I did this many times, me vs 7 other hardest AI, they all send their units in the same way over and over again and spread them too much apart.
