I’m not even mad that the trailer gives away the initial twist, I’m sure M. Night has more up his sleeve than just that.
It's not the twist. At all.
I bet he's not the killer.
it’s not a twist, it’s the central plot point

Well, it's a premise. Possibly. Still, a cool one that could be cooler from being revealed in the movie. I still hate how they went too far with revealing stuff in the trailer for "Split".
Nice to see Josh Harnett making his comeback after all these years!
Even in this trailer, he shows just how great of an actor he is. SUPER underrated, wish he got an oscar by now.

Most respect for Josh Harnet. Was 1 movie away to become an A-lister, tuned down the part of superman just to avoid becoming a superstar, dished Hollywood to spend time with his family. Now i guess he's more comfortable to come back and have fun.
The thing I love is typically people would say “well this movie gives away the whole plot” but you know damn well this man has a whole other level to this movie 💀🔥

I assumed he was the killer right away. You really have no idea where he’s going until the last scene.

He’s one original dude. Even when his movies don’t work you have to give him credit for pursuing his vision. Wish there were more directors like him in that way.
Everyone panned his movies after the Sixth Sense (and a lot retroactively claimed to be geniuses because "they knew the twist all along"). I've enjoyed all his movies, because here's a lot of creativity and imagination within them.

I'm ready for this, loved all of M. night's previous work, I just enjoy the ride and don't get hung up on details
The fact that M.Night gave out this twist in the trailer, it means there's something more mind-blowing coming. I'm definitely seeing this.
His motivation will be the plot twist. The daughter is the real bogeyman, the fathers actions protecting or even feeding her if she might end up some kind of monster, or cannibal.
Or the killer is in the unbreakable universe let that swim around in your noodle
his last movie had no twist... what was it called??? whatever, I don't care
Just because it's an original idea, doesn't mean it doesn't look incredibly stupid. I was actually literally laughing out loud at how stupid this looks and then M. Night's name flashed across the screen and I thought to myself "of course this is one of his movies. This is his level of stupid".
He’s the butcher
Shyamalan can be a hit or miss, but his movies , more often than not, always feel fresh and original. I don't know of another movie with a concept like this.

Interesting concept, hooked already! I love M. Night movies, even if some of them have bad reviews. They're always entertaining and have their own style and feel. Got to appreciate that.
Regardless if it’ll be great or bad, M. Night Shyamalan is one of the few major directors in Hollywood that is making original films for a major studio that can secure funding and great actors. And his films always feel like they’re his own creations where it doesn’t feel influenced by a studio. While he’s hit-and-miss (he’s made some awful films and some amazing films), I’m always down to see a new M. Night movie because I truly never know how I’m going to react until the theater lights go down. No two people are going to experience an M. Night movie the same way, and that’s pretty neat!
Facts, not everything M. Night does is good but always creative.
ironic that he actually couldnt secure fundings for his movies at one point so he had to take a loan to make the Visit.
His last 2 movies sucked imo
True we just need to forget his Avatar project
Every movie he makes feels like his own. Expect Last Airbender that felt like a gunshot.

I think the daughter is the real killer (a killer who can’t help killing as it’s like an addiction and the concert was like his attempt to try and get her off the addiction and just be a normal teenager) and the whole time he’s scared that if his daughter realises that there’s people after her, then she will turn red and kill everyone.
