  • What are the best additions to a $500k portfolio to boost performance? ETH is Up and will do better, I believe as indicators for profits continue to improve. investors like me believe that “Santa has come early” to the markets.

    • I think you're better off with majority investment in bitcoin and uprising equities cos they always outperform. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on which to acquire.

  • Dividends got me into investing in the stock market. In my opinion, if you're investing and have income other than dividends, you can live on dividends without selling. That means you can pass this on to your kids to give them a head start in life. I have over $600,000 in my portfolio which include some covered call etfs for dividends and other etf`s for growth; (SCHD, DVY, VIG, SDY & JEPI)

    • Investing in REITs and high-dividend-paying companies long-term is a simple strategy for creating intergenerational wealth. It's surprising that over 98% of billionaires are stock investors, expanding their billion-dollar portfolios. The rich do what the poor fear!

    • Unfortunately When it comes to investing, most people seems to be ignorant and nonchalant towards it, when investments should be the best thing anybody can do for themselves. till today my profits in stocks and crypto continue to impact my wealth greatly. Therefore i don't feel any urge to solely depend on my salary or wait for the market to enter a bull run.

    • True. I’ve been investing in the money market for 11 years now, last 5 years with the help of a financial planner. Throughout these years of guidance alone, I've been fortunate enough to 10x my return as a DIY investor, summing up nearly $1m roi as of today. My best so far

    • Right, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m

  • Utilities and staples vs. big tech? Really? Don't try to time the market and jump from this to that. Just hold quality companies, and go shopping when things are on sale. As for all the talk of inflation, it's three and change. It's not the 1970s. Canada just reported 2.9.

  • Everyones like "this is like the second wave in the 70's, better sell stocks" but gold os telling you that its not like that. The Fed is trapped and they cant raise rates. Stock indicies wont give you a positive real return this decade, but bonds will destroy you. Need like 25 percent in commodities, 25 percent in global value stocks, 25 cash, 25 percent gold and rebalance quarterly in my opinion.

  • The S&P 500 moved 8.9% higher last Month, achieving one of its best monthly performances in history.. which is an indicator for profits to continue to improve. I just want my money to keep outgrowing the inflation rate. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $500K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

    @cherieElena-vb6il@cherieElena-vb6il12 күн бұрын
    • Yes, truly, investing in the market, even if it's just the S&P 500, can keep up with inflation, because the growth rate of stocks will always exceed the inflation rate. But if you don't have the courage, you could just invest with a financial advisor, which even has greater return on investments, while securing your investment against losses.

    • Keeping money in the bank is like paying banks and the Govemment. Here's how it works: The bank gives out your money as loan, and charge interest obviously higher than inflation rate, and then give you, the depositor, interest lower than inflation rate. That means net loss for you. That is why I prefer to invest, and on average, my advisor makes returns that always beats inflation!
