  • It wasn't that Lot's wife looked back out of curiosity. They were told to flee with just the clothes on their back, leaving everything they owned behind. According to the bible Lot was fairly well off so when they fled they left many luxury items behind. Thats why Lot's wife looked back. Not out of curiosity but rather out of longing for her possessions she was leaving behind. Jesus alluded to her in Luke 17:26-32 when he counseled the first century Christians to flee when the time came and to not return for their possessions. He reminded them to "Remember the wife of Lot" in verse 32.

Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shocking sad truth. 😔 In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. Notorious global cardinal crimes the Christian West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 😔🤷

I’m glad that finding Jewish legends are also based on a kernel of historic truth is reinforcing other faiths’ beliefs in their gods.

  • Humm. Really really enjoyed your investigation into a biblical event of great importance. My field was geology 50 odd years ago. Given that and in support of your theory of meteorite strike, I’m curious if during the 20 to 40 years of excavation that has gone on at that site why has no identifiable meteorite debris been recovered and analyzed. I couldn’t find any so if they showed you, please advise. In fact, excepting a meteorite, was there any evidence at all of any other form of impact? Good job! You raise intriguing points.

    • It's a brutal landscape that can make the people brutal. In this landscape, the Israelites were given laws promoting humane treatment of animals and kindness toward other humans. Many of the laws in the Bible seem harsh to us now, but, at the time, they were *revolutionary* in recognizing the dignity of even slaves.
