This is by far the best slow motion MH clip I've ever seen in my entire life lol. Nothing feels better than stopping a rushing monster with a lvl 3 charge hammer finisher... Well maybe if you stunned the tigrex with it it would be better, but still elite-class timing and RNG 😎

I guess monster bones are just so durable that they don't actually break or shatter which is why the monster is mainly intact when you kill it even though it's dead.

@@bleeem meh. There's absolutely no similarities beyond "has a dodge roll" and "is a videogame with enemies and bosses". Monster Hunter lacks any actual story and almost all of the worldbuilding is confined to art books and media which never gets released or translated outside of Japan. Monster Hunter expects you to spend shitloads of time grinding to make progress at times, while someone good at the Souls games can easily beat any of them by just using the resources they pick up while playing. Monster Hunter focuses on fun and resource gathering, Dark Souls is more interested in telling a story and creating an atmosphere.

@@CarlosGonzalez-pe8qrdark souls is excellent game/series (played all of them, even sekiro) but if you break it down, it is fight between you and the boss for your stamina/posture, precise dance. However in monster hunter you tackle beasts aggression to wear it down and finally do your big damage and to that this precise timing to counter the monster and honestly, because it is more random, the satisfaction is much higher. Gael fights are mostly the same, the more you play it, the more easy it is, however Rajang fights are different and very situational (different locations, turf wars, monster rng).

Game looks good. Havent tried any MH game. I cane here from dragons dogma community. they kept mentioning Monster hunter world, apparently they said the combat, magic skills, arrow or something has a similarity for both sides

Both have excellent gameplay. Monster Hunter doesn't have magic or infusible skills for weapons. But weapon movesets are polished and they're very fun to use.
