My theory is that they never intended to rule out dark hair. They just gave that as an excuse when she started arguing bc it would be more polite to blame a trivial detail than to say she just wasn't a good enough dancer. They're the bad guys this way, not the sweet girl who tried her best. Her dancing is ok, and it's hard to know exactly how much skill they're looking for if the tour is limited to 1 state. But if you compare her to the dancers in Palace Follies, she's very amateur.

@@tigercub1998 no i think they did like her until she started hallucinating a troop halfway thru & then kissing to a fake audience and crying spinning to an encore & i didn’t realize that until like my 2-3rd watch since i genuinely did think she was good & they tried to put it nicely which y’all know she hates excuses & fought to stay bc obvi like y’all know too she killed to be there & there was no way she was leaving without a spot but they didn’t know that she was picturing her mom & family there taunting her predicted failure i feel like if they really weren’t looking for brunettes anymore they would’ve said it from the beginning but they just wanted her to wow them but unfortunately she didn’t. i think she just freaked them out the same way her mom said she would we just saw it from pearls pov never from theirs. can’t imagine how it looked from their side probably would’ve freaked me tf out too from watching a solo dance to her merging into a group dance as one, watching her thinking she’s looking down at hella people in the “line up” & the added music was in her head too not just the piano y’all know how scary that looks in real life watching that unfold as a judge ? i don’t blame them now for saying no at first i was like “😮🫢 what you mean no” now i get that even if she did get it that part of her never would have left, the jealousy, the killing, idk that part of her mind would always be there and she’d hurt one of the girls one day out of jealousy or to keep her shine. the judges did her a favor

They were looking for a dancer, not an actor. If she had managed to keep from killing that one guy, she could have got him to take her to more auditions and could have had a chance and got better. She has X factor. Or maybe that's just Mia I'm seeing 😂 someone with such sensitivity and darkness might be better for a more avante garde medium. Shoulda went to France and did French expressionist films(not porn lol).

It might have helped, but keep in mind, she already murdered people before the audition, so I feel like she wouldn't have made it far either way. Even though she's passionate about dance, she's delusional and her skills aren't anywhere near what she thinks they are. Even if she got picked and didn't murder, she would most likely do something to upset the people she worked with. She's a sad character, and my impression was that she was probably a paranoid schizophrenic or something along those lines.
