This video had the best collection of boats running the inlet I have seen on any video. Loved seeing all of those RIB/RHI/RBI type boats along with an Axopar, those law enforcement SAFE boats and all the "battlewagon" fishing boats. No ignorant people in overloaded Bayliner bowriders. There was one helluva sea swell rolling in. I liked seeing a video shot from this location. It's much more interesting than always seeing the videos shot from the south side of the inlet.
Thanks I appreciate your comments! I try to bring different angels and also different types of content. Thanks again!
Love seeing SAFE Boats out there playing in the inlet like it’s nothin!
They go in and out like nothing!
YES they build all those SAFE boats by my home, Factory. I have a few in my dock at slips. I look at them just placement of hand holds. Welded cleats for tight downs, ect. They are made bullet proof.
Love the first shot! Great!
Thanks for watching!
SAFE Boats rule!
Rode the tower on the THERAPY out of Haulover a few years ago, thought I was a hero for simply making it down the steps. Great crew, fish-on all day.
They are awesome.... I would like to ride one day!
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI I'd never seen Therapy IV with this paint nor seen Spellbound so dirty.
What are the poles sticking out the sides of that vessel used for? I'm new to boating. Sorry
@@speedracerzero Long ones are outriggers for trolling. Swing out sideways with lines attached so they can have more in the water by spreading them out-instead of the 6-8 just off the transom(back) of the boat. Net trollers use them for their nets too.
@@speedracerzero spreaders... conect a line to the tips when trawling out in the ocean to drag 4 lines without tangling.
I'm amazed about how some of these vessels handled this
I like how Therapy IV did it.
The axopar did a fine job. Watch some of those New Zealand bar running videos. They show how to do it safely. Seldom see safe done at this inlet
I will...thanks for the comment!
Been to Haulover many times. It’s amazing just how rough it can get. However, on most days, once your about a hundred yards past the jetty, the sea isn’t nearly as rough.
Correct
wow a boat video with more boats than "bro, bro bro" i like thanks
Glad you liked it
Everyone’s a model now!
yes.
"Influencer"
I'm jealous of the rock
Am here for the girl at 2.20!😂😂😂
If you have a commercial license you can rock right by those dudes.🤙🤙🤙
Funny as you hide on a fake account...it can only be one guy...hahaha
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI and you're probably a c*******ing liberal...
I’m in your video filming from the other side while the therapy 4 came through!! I’m in a black shirt and black and grey shorts!
Cool!
That Axopar captain seems to know how to handle a following sea. I don’t know much about the brand, however it looks like the boat is built for that rough stuff.
I find them really narrow. But it did well. Thanks 😊
We have one and it does great in the rough waters of the sf bay
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI Yes, and that's why it handles well in those conditions. Long, narrow pangas are going fishing through the surf every day, all over the world.
I was impressed with her and how dry she stayed nice
@@tommegan6500 that one was more than 12ft wide in the back so. Not so narrow after all.
Do you know how deep the water is there in the haulover?
The skipper of the inbound twin engine at the beginning should be giving lessons on how it's done.👍
Good call!
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI Agreed
Whitey ran that surf like a pro
Love to see the capable captains!! Hate seeing the narc women wanting us to see a string over their pewpshute.
Well, that 11 minutes of my life I will never get back. More exciting to watch a grandmother swim.
Send a link I will watch with you. Look at other of my videos and let me know what you think! Thanks!
I think that last green boat is Miami-Dade County ... that is one nice rescue/recovery machine! Now THAT'S a job!
Yes those were new boats they got.
Thank you for showing this. I have been in waves like this with a jet ski. Boy it was fun The excitement of going over those waves, there is nothing else in world like it. We have hills steep mountain's that just blow down on water/ Bay to throw the water into turbulence that make the water RUFF. The break water at are marina is huge and I have seen white caps spray crashing over it when wind blows. Are breakwater is like twice as high as this video breakwater.
Ir must be nice on a jetski...thanks
At 1:50 that guy knows his way around the inlet for sure.
Agreed, I'd have loved to see how the Axopar handled coming out of the inlet as well though!
He does!
Can't even imagine going through Haulover on some of the small boats that do.
when its rough is bad! but 80% of the time is flat.
Sometimes the smaller boats are safer, better. Reason the don't straddle the waves, and they can turn around faster, thereby not being side on to the wave action. It's still the Captain that MUST MAKE SENSEABLE CHOICES. SOMETIMES that means NOT GOING OUT. I am in New Zealand and some very rough seas, oftentimes have made the call to stay safe on THE LAND.
You may be cursed with intelligence.
Damn that chic in black taking photos got me excited!!!
Glad you like it....that day we didn't see many boats... hahahaha
Guy @1:20 knew how to work in the swells.
Looks like every other day out there
Pretty solid advertisement for Axopar!
There was not much to film that day...Thanks!
I was waiting for a freeman to come slicing through there like a hot knife in butter
Love the Freeman cats.
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI me too brother. They make our long runs up here a lot easier. 60-70 mile runs one way gets old in a SW sea in a monohull boat. Love the content, keep up the great work
I see boats going in and out without much of a problem so how can it be closed?
What's up with Spellbound? Looks like they just raised it from the lagoon. It's filthy for a charter boat.....
Many of them look like that...Thanks!
Do you mean that I, can watch a video, and not have to always have to listen to someone Say Wait for It ! Only to wait for "Nothing". Thanks for giving us another Perspective of The Inlet. And try and not take it personally A.M.
Correct! I did not expect this to happen...but it seems that if you don't go all out on sensationalism people won't watch even if your videos are descent...Thanks and no offense taken! Thanks!
Cool
Thanks for watching!
Honest ? here - why do the Haulover (Miami?) charters all seem to run the inlet with their riggers out? I was a weekend mate out of Lauderdale for many years and that was not a thing I remember ever doing?
In order to go under the bridge the open the outriggers some...in order to pass. Thanks for the good question.
Just as good safe motor vehicle drivers can go decades without an accident or ticket, good boat captains can also operate their vessel safely under any conditions. None of the slow and steady captains had any difficulty going through this inlet.
Maserati badge? Nice vid!
its called a trident.
buddy wasn't spotting boats only xD
There was no boat action so the next best thing was added 👌
Even the Hurricane stuffed on that day.
Thanks!
Therapy always makes me seasick to watch. Great captain I’m sure. Anyone else find it weird no radar on this boat? Not being sarcastic, just wondering.
veteran captain with lots of experience.
Open your eyes, radar onboard
@@garhamalexholm701 I don't see it.
Probably got it on his iPad 😂
Aha now I see it top masthead
Looks calmer than other videos???
The wind is blowing just a bit.LOL
Yes! It was windy a bit!
Can somebody tell me, why some of the fly bridge boats for fishing in this video don't have cabin front window? Sorry for my ignorance and english.
I was going to ask the same thing
3:34 are those long poles for catching sailfish?
Yes they are spreaders so they can ad more fishing lines...Thanks!
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI thank you. 👍🏼 We don’t get things like this in our country, just over fishing ☹️
First Mate on the Sea Cross II...... I like him! Sportin' FAT DREADS! You know that dude can fish....
Correct...thanks!
What are those rods in a angle on the side of the fishing boat?
they are line spreaders to put more fishing lines in.
Outriggers.
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI line spreaders. Lol.
What are those booms for? How do they work? Are they fishing with nets?
There's a dragging process going on on Haulover Inlet. Is that what you mean?
On the fishing boats, they have those big arms sticking out.
@@towpathguitars those are outriggers. you run fishing lines through the rings on the ends of them so lines are spread further apart and don't tangle especially if you turn.
@@mikeshr2 some folks yachting hub Miami call them line spreaders. I like the outriggers better.
This is a good video to show what outriggers do. kzhead.info/sun/ZdGModKoaKxoeYU/bejne.html
Looked like the fishing charters had a "PASS" to scoot by! Those fishing charters can handle more than most.
You got that right!
@@YACHTINGHUBMIAMI I've considered buying a Hatteras GT 45. I think that boat could handle Haulover.
Can anyone tell me the make of the boat at 1:45. It looks kinda ugly and mean but it looks like its made like a battleship really ruggid.
Its an axopar boat
Was that lime green boat at the end a Metal Shark?
don't know the brand but its a new one for the fire department here.
That is a bad assed looking boat whatever the make. It looks like it might be made by Axopar. It sure maneuvers well with those Hamilton water jets.
Yes, it is a Metal Shark
Nice Bunz
sure... whats not to like!
Rub a dub dub, three men puking in the tub. You should get a sponsorship from Gravol motion sickness medicine
Sure... Thanks
Spellbound could use some dry dock TLC.
Correct!
While both words start with "b" and have 5 letters, it appears that the videographer was, at least for a short time, confused about the difference between boats and babes.
There was not much boat action so the babes filled the gap.
2:42🤣people
funny!
Still looking for rough seas - what? A 5-6 foot swell closes an inlet? That first SF shows exactly how "not rough" this is - all the way through and not a drop over the bow
I don't know why but that's what happened for a few hours? I filmed there for hours and no boats were allow out...still I was able to do do this video that I was not expecting to do well and KZhead decided to promote it? Good for me I guess... Still look at other of my videos and if you like them subscribe...Thanks!
How do they close the inlet? Do they run a piece of police tape from one side to the other? "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS".
Not really they had 3 boats parked at the bridge
Too bad they're not there to stop those idiots that try to take their overloaded bowriders with their children on the bow out without life jackets on... J.K. about the police tape, obviously...
Axopar road it like a champ.
Yes he did...thanks!
Does anyone know the type of boat at 1:20? I like her lines.
Axopar
Can civilians buy those safe boats? I'm guessing that last green boat was a safe boat right? Idk but I think those boats are deffinatly the most bad a$$. I wonder if some people use them for fishing I only seem to see them on these boat channels as coast guard or police and in think towboatu.s. has a couple like that.
5:32 The Rapy IV 😳
Its a nice fishing rental.
Y the pilot did not return to the shore ?
It was closed for a few hours... I spent the day there.
Rough?pff.. ive swam across that inlet in rougher conditions.
tell that to the cops that close the thing because the wind???
I got seasick just from the video.
Funny
So how was it closed?
It was closed for a few hours to outgoing traffic!.
Just cuz you can make it out and don't get sick don't mean that it will be fun. Those conditions are good for nothing but kicking your ass, no fish no fun getting thrown around for hours only gets you covered in bruises lol
Good call!
Axopar is a champ
it is thanks!
It's about time they give that boat a bath!!
Thats a good comment!
Everyone turns around and goes home, if their lucky.
I think axopar boats are ugly but I haven't seen many boats that can handle rough water like they can. Also I'm ordering what the long poles are on the sides of the first 2 or 2nd and 3rd boats are can anybody help me out? Just subscribed 😃👍
Those are outriggers to fish...they can add more line in the water. And the axopar are just weird but they do cut the waves easy.
Didnt look closed or bad weather.
2:19 pra quê isso? Wtf
The girl @ 2:15 with a head bigger than the rock she's sitting on.
Dude you should have call me! I would go surfing 🏄♀️
Thanks for the visit!
On this video, you can really see the good Captains from the rookie or idiots driving there boats
0:00 0:29 Those rigid inflatables are nice boats! A lot more seaworthy than the floating gin palaces, for sure.
Now I have seen many other models coming out! Really nice and big.
Doesn’t look like the inlet is closed....
Why is it they always say don't go boating alone and I see the Police boats with one person in them?
Your correct on that!
is it really necessary to have club music in the backround?
At that time i did not have a good mic.
If this was yesterday, Sunday, the seas were really strange and strong, even where I am. I went to a beach that has very small, or non existent waves, and the waves and current were so bad I got knocked down and rolled. I'm about 2500k miles from Florida
coincidence I think...Thanks Maria!

A bikini 👙 has never injured no one here... unless you pitch for another team? Just kidding 😂
Closing the inlet??? We live in a nanny state 😡
It was for a few hours... just making things safe for the terrible boaters we have here..hahaha Thanks!

I want to see more zoom on that 1:00, buster!
2:40.... Ask and ye shall receive

That just doesn’t look like fun
not really
If people want to risk their lives on stupidity, let them
Sure great observation.
Nobody's safe from what. It's just another fall day at the inlet. Nothing to watch here
It’s so nice of American taxpayers to buy all these wonderful top of the line boats and toys for local Government employees to be able to play in.
You need the right tools to do the job in bad conditions. Police cruisers are not cheap, EMT and rescue vehicles are not cheap, fire trucks are not cheap, ambulances are not cheap. Rescue and patrol boats are built for rough conditions. They are not toys, they are tough boats constructed to a standard and are not cheap.
@@derjaeger3321 90% of all rescues at Haulover are done by jet skis. If you’ll pay attention you will find that the EMT, POLICE & FIRE rescue boats almost ALWAYs show up after the event is under control! That 911 Government programming really did a number on some of you folks. That’s why we are taxed to death to pay for these mammoth first responder budgets. Oh well
@@GeorgeBonez First responders are called that for a purpose. They arrive on the scene are trained to take the situation in hand. Your neighbor may have a garden hose but he most likely not extinguish your house fire at 3 AM, nor will he don a SCBA and go to the third floor to initiate a rescue. When you throw a blood clot the EMT will arrive on scene and will know what to do and most likely assist in saving your life. The jet skis may do minor rescues, after all they are always around, and good for them but there is more to it than that. Keeping drunks off the water, enforcing environmental, speed and safety regulations, nabbing smugglers, responding to a sinking vessel in horrible conditions and simply being see is all part of the job. And it ain’t free. Could it be done more efficiently??? …. perhaps. But remember, in a democracy, politics, turf wars, inter-jurisdictional spats, unions and public perceptions are always involved - everyone has a say.
@@derjaeger3321 Oh brother! I think I’ve had just about enough of this indoctrination lecture from Gov worshipers. What a bunch of complete crap
And replace them every 2-4 yrs. Your right.

The inlet does'nt close dummy!
First thanks for watching.... I hope you like the commercials! Second were you there? That day the Inlet was close for a few hours to outgoing traffic incoming traffic was not affected because that's the only way in.
