For many species in the animal kingdom, spitting and stinging is a vital tool for self-defense and in the pursuit of prey. In Arctic waters, the walrus depends on its ability to spit in order to feed. The cobra projects its venomous saliva to blind its predators. Spitting provides the jawfish with a home - and a means to defend it. Putting their lives on the line, bees will use stings to attack any threat to their colony. Jellyfish trawl their stingers through the world’s oceans to subdue prey and ward off predators. The echidna is constantly protected by their densely packed, needle-like armor of spines. The Stingray’s powerful, barbed tail and potent venom is the stuff of legends, and the carnivorous centipede is granted access to a wide range of prey thanks to its paralyzing sting. Animal Armory takes a closer look at these mighty instruments of destruction and the animals that wield them with absolute precision.

I live in Australia the most dangerous country/continent in the world when it comes to having the most venomous snakes lizards spider's etc and I find these docos truly amazing
@Steven Carr, your country is truly a world's wonder!
@@orgeebaharvin6284 it sure is a world's wonder but it's also a truly beautiful country
Yep. It is!
@NAVIN KUMAR SAHU not all Australians are racist you don't know what you are talking about my country is a beautiful place to see mate
I couldn't live there. The funnel web spider is kinda horrifying, not to mention the snakes, Crocs, great whites, bull sharks, etc. Y'all are brave.
"Wow, I just finished watching "Spits & Stings ," and I'm blown away by the fantastic animal armory and breathtaking sights of these creatures surviving in the most hostile locations on earth. The documentary does an excellent job of highlighting the difficulties and threats that these animals must deal with on a daily basis, and their resiliency and adaptation are quite astounding. The film team deserves praise for obtaining such wonderful imagery and showcasing the variety and beauty of our planet's ranges. Anyone who enjoy adventure films should definitely check this out."
Thumbs up to the camera man for capturing every scene to details,,, not forgetting the whole crew who put this together.. its just so sickk💚💚❤❤

So amazing that the king cobra knows to make a nest and actually does it.. I’m terrified of snakes but they are pretty awesome
It is amazing to see how each individual animals’ survival and self-defence.
WOW REALLY? Ya mean this is not a Mountak Deer compilation of them pulling on Santa's sled? 😳 MY GOD!
@@zuperzoniko6365 ,
Really enjoyed this. Not tacky, good choices for background music, good narrator, beautiful imagery.
How each individual animals’ survival and self-defense, its adorable.
Really digging this Animal Armory series! I've watched 'em all in order. Def my new favorite show! Everything: th camerawork, th subject matter for each episode, th calming, yet commanding presence of th narrator, & th music score--are all perfect!! Love th stingray section especially. Music reminds me of NIN\Reznor!! Great episode! Thnx so much! 🐍🐝😎 Really enjoyed this one!!
The documentaries on this channel are second to none. I watch them on hours and at least 2 days a week. Unhealthy i know but the pandemic led to my over viewing habit. That being said im gonna do 3 days this week.
Came for the cobra, stayed for the drawfish. Cute burrowing fish that aggressively spits gravel!? I think yes😆👍
Came for the Aztec, STAYED for the Mastiff! Look at those canines BOYYY! they shine like the dagger of the gods OHHHHH and those wiskers! they strike true and poke yer eye out if you mess with that TANK of a Dog! You hear me brotha?! Yesiree.
Brilliant show. Makes me feel really homesick for Australia. Covers several animals, except the one that "eats roots and leaves." Okay, it's an oldie - but still a goodie... :-)
Where are you living Paul? My husband is an Aussie too. (Vic)
@@amandastakeonit7402 G/day Amanda, Nice of you to reach out. I'm a Queensland guy, Brisbane & Gold Coast. I married a Swiss lady who wanted to be here. You can guess who won that debate!!! :-) Yep, so we're here in Switzerland...
Awesome Documentary Well Narrated about The Defense Mechanism of ANIMAL KINGDOM❤ which has evolved over the years with the Premise SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST❤

Of all the snakes in the world the King Cobra has to be the most elegant, fearsome & dignified of all snakes. It truly is a regal creature & deserves a healthy respect for what it is & how it uses it's venom to survive. If we never caused it any harm or destroyed it's habitat we'd never see a King Cobra & certainly never encounter a King Cobra, as we're of zero interest to this royal creature.
Better 9 months late than never I suppose. Time to binge. 😏💪🏿💯

” ... the bee's greatest asset is their ability to co-operate." - Can this be said of Mankind? Despite the pressing, impending and intimidating dangers and catastrophic consequences of Climate Change, has Man learnt the art of cooperation for the common good?
I will come Australia one day 🥺😢
Yea in Korea (co-rea) they are doing the whole bee thing!! Everyone doing the same thing all for the benefit of “Korea” and “Kim goying” just like the bees! I think I’ll stick to America and do my own thing lol I’m more of a wolf! Lone wolf with a pup :)

amazing documentary. also, what is the name of that angelic song playing near the end of the video.
Sounds like End Times Jesus return song!
Pollen doesn’t become honey 🍯. Nectar is processed into honey.
La "mantarraya" no es esta que mencionas, esa es una raya. La mantarraya es la grande que tiene dos protuberancias en la parte delantera. Hay mucha diferencia entre una y otra.
The honey bee is probably the most dangerous of all because of the allergic reaction that can develop through their stings in humans.
Beautiful doc
Amazing documentary. It's beautiful to watch this video
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow beautiful planet ❤❤
thank you free documentary
at 19.;48 you said the pollen the bees collect becomes honey... i always its the nectar the bees collect becomes honey ... thanks for the info..
No you were right. It is nectar.
The content of this video is captivating enough without the graphics of light balls moving across the screen and geometric lines. Those un-needed images are distracting.

I'm thankful that I know any documentary I see on here with the green head saying full documentary I stay away from. The audio overlay protecting you from copyright infringement wakes me from half sleep every time. No clue why it lasts so long but it's bad enough that I avoid any video that displays a green" Full Documentary "
I’d rather get stung by a bee than bit by mosquito because a bee sting may hurt more but atleast I know I’m not gonna die from a disease💯
Great video
