Granted it was still more of a 1 to 5 share at their peak, nowadays I won't be surprised if they only offer stick to their economy trim, Europe only diesel engine.

I rebuilt the entire engine and replaced the bearings while I was at it anyway. I even know where a blinker switch is. Then again I have lived in a few European and Middle Eastern countries, so....not the typical American, I suppose. As for Hellcats? You skimp out on the quality of replacement parts, you don't do oil changes, you don't switch parts when they start breaking but wait until they fail completely and take other parts with them, then you got no right to blame the brand. Cars are only ever as reliable as they are treated.

Yes BMW’s require more maintenance than other brands to be reliable, but that’s the thing.. they require stricter maintenance… therefore they are more expensive to own still

    • Don't know where you live, but in germany 90s and 00s Mercedes and BMW are absolutely usual cars that you see a lot on the road everyday

    • @@sergeant_cross_ I live in the US. I'm aware that in Europe German cars are better made, and the labour to fix them is cheap.
