  • Hi Art , I have been at vinyl repair for close to 40 years and want to tell you that the phrase ‘you can teach an old dog new tricks’ is true. I watch your video on the double blind stitch and will be adding it to my bag of tricks. Thanks…… Duane L.

    • You're very welcome! I think the reason I still enjoy this work is that there is always something new to develop.

  • Such horrendous damage, yet the end result is so smooth and flat and perfect. You even cleaned out the stitch line. Very professional. Thank you for sharing your techniques with us!

  • Master class. I learned a lot. Please get an amazon affiliate account and start listing products you use. Thanks again for sharing. Also, please go through your videos and add better descriptions. You will get more views. "repairing cracked and worn vinyl car armrest with filler, mesh and texturing" or something like that... more keywords will get you more subs... you got me! I have a bad armrest in a BMW E46.

  • Could you please show us your best methods to repair vinyl and plastic that have a patterned texture? Also, do you have any solutions for repairing chrome on interior trim? If so, could you show us that too? We've been getting a lot of requests for those repairs. We've done them in a few cases but I have yet to be satisfied with the results on any of them.
