    • Most (I believe all) iguanas are usually herbivores/vegetarians so, no, they don't catch insects or mice.

  • People underestimate the kinda work that goes into large reptiles. They dont understand those cute little turtles and iguanas are gonna grow up and get huge. And the turtles are probably gonna outlive your grandkids

  • my brother had an iguana, he didnt talk much , just sit all day on his branch and snack on things. they are sadly very hard to take care of and are prone to skincancer/issues. humidity and all that has to be there.

    @Fallenstartheone@Fallenstartheone15 күн бұрын
    • It sounds like your brother's iguana had a peaceful demeanor! Indeed, caring for iguanas requires specific attention to humidity and UV exposure to keep them healthy. Thanks for sharing your experience and raising awareness about their needs! 🦎

  • Iguana people, does a blanket help? Blankets work for warm-blooded animals because they conserve the heat that is already there, but how does that work for a cold-blooded animal? Wouldn't a source of heat be better?

    @sister_bertrille911@sister_bertrille91115 күн бұрын
    • Great question! While blankets can provide some insulation, you're absolutely right that cold-blooded animals like iguanas benefit more from a direct heat source. Heat lamps or heating pads are essential for maintaining their body temperature. Thanks for your curiosity! 🦎🔥
