I can’t wait to hear what the doctor found when she worked the horses. I would have loved to see her actually work on them. I grew up with horses and am now 69, I only learned recently that this care was now available.

Jami I just want to point out that it isn't good to wrap joints directly with vetwrap (the self stick wrap). You should put some rolled guaze with guaze pads or rolled cotten under the vetrap. Vetrap can cut of the circulation or cause the joints to swell if you don't have something to pad the joints underneath it.

It should have either rolled cotton (the best type of padding) or rolled gauze over that piece of 4x4 gauze with the Silver sulfadiazine on it. The wrap should have the rolled cotton or the rolled gauze sticking out above and below the vetwrap, making it so the padding is protecting the vetwrap from becoming too tight around the joint.

Yep, the end was great and yes, I made it all the way. You reminded me of my sister's neighbor who speaks spanish. One day their little dog approached me and as cute as the dog was, I did not want it to wander away from home. So, I told the dog to go home but it happily barked at me. Later, I told my sister and she reminded me that the dog may also "speak" Spanish. I completely forgot cause I could have at least pointed and said casa. Oh my!

I just love Uriel! He's so amazing! Yes, you can't clean sheethes with gloves on...lol You have to be able to feel whats all up in there. Uriel is such a blessing for you guys. He’s so willing to get in there and help with anything. His love for the horses is so evident by the way he just jumps in there to do whatever is needed. It doesn’t hurt that he’s so darn cute and smells good. I’m willing to bet that there are lots of women out there in internet land who are his “biggest” fans. I hope those mud packs Jami put on Ivy’s legs help the sores to heal quicker. Poor baby.

I think it's the fact that Rita is only 3-4 months old. I think that we all suspected that she was at least a year old.

Jami I just want to point out that it isn't good to wrap joints directly with vetwrap (the self stick wrap). You should put some rolled guaze with guaze pads or rolled cotten under the vetrap. Vetrap can cut of the circulation or cause the joints to swell if you don't have something to pad the joints underneath it.
You must not of watched carefully. She had the meds and wound clay on gauze pads🙄

It should have either rolled cotton (the best type of padding) or rolled gauze over that piece of 4x4 gauze with the Silver sulfadiazine on it. The wrap should have the rolled cotton or the rolled gauze sticking out above and below the vetwrap, making it so the padding is protecting the vetwrap from becoming too tight around the joint.

Yep, the end was great and yes, I made it all the way. You reminded me of my sister's neighbor who speaks spanish. One day their little dog approached me and as cute as the dog was, I did not want it to wander away from home. So, I told the dog to go home but it happily barked at me. Later, I told my sister and she reminded me that the dog may also "speak" Spanish. I completely forgot cause I could have at least pointed and said casa. Oh my!
