    • @@lilysalmon3900 Cant say, but i can say that Mentour Pilot covers atleast the first 2 stories here. In the Concorde incident, a piece of debris from a previous plane was left on the runway, the concorde hit it, the metal thing got slammed into the fuel tank with enough force to destabalize the fuel tank and make it explode outwards. That damage also had some electric lines running loose, which is what ignited the fuel.

      @supervegito2277@supervegito2277 Жыл бұрын
    • @@lilysalmon3900 The KLM, Pan Am crash is, to this day, the worst disaster in civil aviation. What basically happened was that planes had to divert to the small airport at Los Rodeos. The KLM got very very close to their operating times (the time the pilots are allowed to fly) so the captain really wanted to go. The weather also was very bad and on top of that, the controller didn't speak English well. The KLM captain decided to take off although he didn't have a clearance because the phrases, pilots and controllers say, weren't standardized at that point so he might have misunderstood another clearance incorrectly. As a consequence of this flight the common phrase "ready for take off" used by media is strictly forbidden in aviation. "Take off" is now only allowed in "cleared for take off". Check out Mentour Pilot if you really want to get a professional and realistic analysis of this crash without the TV Drama and Bullshit.

  • Causes: 1. Metal piece on runway from another plane (dc 10 if i remmeber correctly). Fell of due to bad meintanace. It made the tires explode and a peice punctured the fuel engine. 2. Bad communications being the Main cause. 3. The crew tried to make a go-around, but the plane rolled to the left and then to the right 4 seconds before impact. Also the right engine was a bit faulty. It's more to the story, but I dont want this to be too long. 4. A massive tail Wind struck the plane. Some other stuff also happened, but that was the Main cause. 5. Well it is explained. Also Robin wasent able to return to her duties because of this accident. I dont remember all the details, but I guess the guilt of causing this accident made her quit. 6. Well it was explained, but i am also gonna mention that 4 others were injured. 7. Well it is explained how it caught fire and stuff, but I am gonna explain how so many died. The AAIB concluded that the major cause for fatalities was rapid incapacation due to inhaling of the dense toxic/irritant smoke atmosphere within the cabin, aggravated by evacuation delays caused by a forward right door malfunction and restricted acces to the exits. 8. Pilot error was the main cause. It was several problems that led to the crash. Gonna list them up: - Yak service did not properly control the quality of mastering the aircraft. - Finding that the crew did not train long enough on the Yak-42 - The crew did not calculate the takeoff parameters - changing takeoff thust during takeoff - One of the pilots applied braking (They are not sure who) - The co-pilot was found to have a banned drug phenobarbital in his system Also gonna mention that a hockey team was on this plane. It killed all, but 1 on this plane. (Plane mechanic i belivie). Also one of the hockey team players did survive the crash, but died later in the hospital. 9: First of all, I do belivie they should have done a go-around right away. The plane had an excessiveely steep descent and high airspeed (446 km/h; 277 mph) father the the normal 141 knots (261 km/h; 162 mph) during the approach and landing, resulting in unstable flight. The captain wanted to make the first approach work, so he called to hear the co-pilot say to do a go-around and the planes warnings. Also the co-pilot failed to take control because of inadequate training. Wings falls were no fully extended to the maxinum 40°, not Even 15° repeatedly requested by the captain, but only 5° because of the first officer was aware that this was the recommended maximum for that high airspeed, but he failed to notify the captain. 21 died (20 passengers and 1 crew memeber). Also one of the passengers filmed the plane burning after getting to a safe distance. Captain also got arrested and found guilty. He was sentenced to 2 years of imprissonment. 10: No problems with the plane only that they came in too low. 2 died on impact (found outside the plane). 1 died later in the hospital because of her injuries. All 3 of them were teenagers. 181 was injured.

Out of the 12 people on board, 6 of them passed away, 2 of which were the pilots. My uncle was supposed to be on that plane once it took off again from Cork but it didn’t make it. I also remember after it, a lot of people avoided flying from George Best and instead went to Dublin airport, my family included.

Was their training for this type of situation adequate? What was happening in the tower? Did the controller respond properly? Did the control give proper instructions to the flight? Was there and misinformation or miscommunication between tower and flight? Theres almost never one single thing that causes the crash but, a serious of issues. The investigation is to discover all links in the chain of events that created the crash.

    • @@HeidiKohne exactly when the pan am co pilot says "we are still in the runway clipper 1736" both the Pan am cockpit and ATC voices created a loud shrill in the cockpit of the KLM but then that doesn't take away the fact that he decided to take off without the ATC giving him a go
