this is so helpful! I´m very happy to have found your channel. My twin girls will be turning 3 this summer. We did some baby swim lessons when they were young, but last summer they mostly stayed in floats in the pool because that is what they are comfortable in and what allows me to handle them both at the same time! Now I really want to teach them how to swim. Once I have them familiar with the water this season, do you recommend that I start doing this with their lessons? Or are there more things that you would recommend for this age? Thanks again!
oh and another question! If I am in the pool with them both together, could I do these swim lessons with one and have the other in a float? Or is having them in floats not good since they can rely on an object? Honestly it is kind of the only option for me so I hope it´s ok ;)
Hi Maria, We're so happy you found us! We do recommend you following along with these steps to teach your littles to swim. We created a free printable step-by-step guide that you can use poolside to help, link in the description! As for teaching two kids at once, its totally ok if one of them is in a float if that works best for you :) When I teach two or three kids at a time, I have them take turns while one swims with me, the other sits safely on the side and I just rotate them back and forth so neither is sitting for too long.
