    @jamesolojo787@jamesolojo7873 жыл бұрын
    • Because a lot of mma fans are here for the circus and not for the sport. Yes Usman is boring to listen to and at times boring to watch when he fights. But he still is super good at what he does. Some people can‘t appreciate that.

    • @@ryukabukicho1530 While I can't disagree that alot of fans aren't fans for the right reason he's hated alot for his personality and the way he carries himself. While colby is despised for his antics Usman is for blatanly being fake trying to get people on his side. He's done many sleezy things, from not "knowing" jorge masvidal in the build-up to acting like he got hit in the groin by Colby until the camera zoomed in and showed he didn't hit hit the groin prompting him to get up immediately (yeah that happened) Not to mention everytime he speaks there's atleast some point that seems/is unathentic. I think thats the reason why he receives the hate he does.

    • @@zoraboymv6392 yeah i see what you mean. But look at johny bones jones for example. Crashed his car into a pregnant woman while being coked up (yeah that happened), being a cheater on whole different level (steroids) and acting like he is living his life by the law of god. Does it get more unauthentic than that? Still people love him. Same with McGregor who is probably the most loved/hyped figure in all of mma, despite the fact talks soooo much bullshit that he can‘t back up since years. That being said, i think it really isn‘t Usman‘s weird personality that makes him so unpopular but the fact that people can‘t relate to him. I think a lot fans find him off putting, which i can totally understand. But the hate he gets seems to come from a different place. If he would be a better media person, would be able to build a better character to sell, he would not be hated as much. But he chose to be the Nigerian nightmare while the whole mma community sees him as Marty from Nebraska. Which yeah, isn‘t ideal but still doesn‘t make him a lesser fighter.

Like, they stopped interviewing people who’ve been knocked out, submitted or just recovering from a bloody war with cuts and bruises but they still proceed to host a presser AFTER the fight. Getting asked redundant, dumbfounded questions even though they know the answer to it. Do you think after pouring their hearts out, taking significant damage, feeling concussed, not remembering half the shit that happened in cage, or even in some cases not even having a grip on reality they wanna do this crap? Who the fuck has said “Oh yasss, I gotta post fight presser and I get to tell them about I went. I can’t wait to sit down and share with you guys 😊😊😊” SAID. NO. FUCKING. FIGHTER. EVER. 🙄🙄🙄
