  • I find a lot of car detailing products and methods work well on motorcycles as well. A motorcycle is a bit different and you have to be careful but essentially its the same. I do a bit of car detailing and have detailed motorcycles as well and I can use the same products for both car and bike. I probably wouldnt recommend baby wipes as your rubbing the dirt back and forth into the finish. Defineatley not on paint work! Yup steamer works well with a bit of ONR added in. Thanks for the video!

  • Great ideas. I've ordered that steam cleaner. I had almost bought one when ChrisFix recommended one for getting gum and sticky stuff out of carpets in cars but this gives me another reason to buy one.

    • Thanks for the kind words. Yes, you are right the rear axle nut is an aftermarket from pro bolt www.pro-bolt.com/titanium-axle-nuts-bolts/. here is another video from my channel where a simple comparison is made between the OEM, this one and a titanium one kzhead.info/sun/ZbqloZijaaxjoa8/bejne.html . May I also ask if in Japan there is a Vstrom facebook group or other forum?

    • I dont use them cause my spokes are fine but bykas have good quality.

  • You advised to use OEM Oil filter , what about brake pads ? Which one do you recommend for the 650 ? Thanks, Roby

    • Yes OEM brake bads are also good choice and last long. Some might say that other brands help you stop better but lets face it, the vstrom is not a racing bike and not all brake pads are tresting the brake discs as they should.

    • Alexandre, for the summer any oil within the specs of Suzuki and for Hot climates in the summer I recommend 10w50 or 15w50. !0w 40 also does the job. Good brands are ecstar, bel ray, motul by suzuki, etc. The oil filter always buy the suzuki one.   • Hi I have DL 1050 xt 2022 the rear spoke have shoving some black pitting not rust can't clean with nothing I use .The last I use brake cleaner with no results .Only solution is polish them but I don't now are they stainless steel or galvanised .The Bike is 5 months old with 3000 km and I find meny people have same issue. Any suggestions tnx

    • You are entitled to ask your Suzuki dealer to replace the spokes. It's a known issue

    • The line that gives power for cuts and continuity & the fuse associated with it. Did you connect a device that draws lots of power?

    • I connected an air pump Is that too much ?

    • @@robytom8777 yes that was the cause. Only gps or phone. The pump is only directly from ghe battery. I think there is a 3Amp fuse that should be bad now. Check & replace

    • @@DrVstrom Θα ήθελα να μάθω αν υπάρχει κάποια λίστα με όλα τα απαραίτητα εργαλεία που θα πρέπει να έχω για όλες τις εργασίες συντήρησης που περιγράφετε σε όλα τα video και αν προτείνετε κάποιο κατάστημα. Επιπλέον θέλω να βρω κουκούλα και δεν ξέρω αν θα ταιριάζει.

    • Ροποκλειδο(α) να καλυπτουν 6 με 100 Nm ροπες. καλη συλλογη καστανια και καρυδακια και καρυδακια αλεν (μεχρι 12). Ισως κλειδι για το φιλτρο λαδιου που μπαινει σε καστανια για να μπορεις να σφιξεις ροπες. Αυτα ειναι τα βασικα. Κουκουλα εξαρταται αν εινα εκτεθιμενη στον δρομο ηλιο βροχη και εαν η μηχανη ειναι σκετη η την εχεις μονιμα με βαλιτσες
