@@HoopersHusband glitch probably you can search it up the devs did this to stop people from getting sad or angry so made the cuddle fish have like 900k health i think so its a bug

Fun fact: the getting your feet wet achievement is for diving, not swimming. You have to jump off something to dive, and remember how the escape pod has a door at the bottom as well? Also you can just walk off the side of the pod.
I remember the first time I ever countered the Reaper leviathan. I was swimming to the big ship by myself with no vehicle, poor naive passed me. Anyways so I reached the fog in on swimming through the fog it's a little creepy. And then just at the edge of my field of vision I see a giant tail emerge from the the muddy cloud of death before returning into the shadows for where I cannot see it. And I just screamed and swam all the way back. I know it didn't attack me but it was just so cinematic words cannot describe how intensely horrifying that was. It's the equivalent of seeing the shark fin dip out and back into the water. The leviathan just wanted to remind me that I was not alone and that I was very very small
And I never went back there again! now that I think about it I think it was more terrifying that I didn't see the entire Reaper leviathan I just understood that there was a monster in the fog that was much bigger than me and wondered what horrific monster was attached to that tail. Lovecraft was right fear of the unknown is very scary
I had a simmilar thing but I was exploring the mushroom forest, not realising the dunes where right there. Reversed my seamoth outta there and then decided to traumatise myself more by exploring the grand reef with the crab squids-

I never met a reaper leviathan in my game even though I was at the aurora, mountains, the other island and many times in the mushroom forest near the aurora. I also never heard one.
Now I just imagine arthur feeding micah to a reaper and the reaper saying "you insult me by feeding me this garbage"

The technologies call you captain because you built them, just because the entire crew died doesn’t mean they call you captain as if you got the status rank captain.
One time, my Seamoth got beached on the quarantine enforcement platform, and I couldn't move it no matter how hard I tried. I even tried pushing with my propulsion canon (found it in a time capsule), but it was to heavy and was unaffected. So I continued on, thinking I would have to swim all the way back to my base. As I was walking back to the shore to get ready to make the swim, I whipped out my propulsion canon and started having fun with it to cheer me up. Suddenly, I remembered that the propulsion canon can push small rocks. So I positioned myself between infront of my Seamoth, and launched a small rock towards it. IT WORKED! I don't know who made the time capsule, but I am forever grateful for them.
Whenever that does happen to me, I'll use the grav trap to push it off land or a platform but sometimes the grav trap will shoot to outpace but it works.
@@imaperson1194 that's a cool way! I remember my seamoth kept getting stuck by the aurora's entrance, on the bit of metal ramp leading up so I used a glitch with the propulsion cannon to send a cave crawler flying in through the glass of the seamoth so I could pick it up and put it back on the water. I think I just flicked it so hard that it glitched into the window!

The grab squid would more annoying than the sea monkeys we got because they’d just pull out the batteries from our sea trucks and S U C C the power from them, so do we really want them?

Fun fact, MatPat’s theory on Subnautica was trash, he didn’t recognize the already exposed outcrops of toxic metals in the water, the reaper leviathans immune to radiation, and he probably just needed a reason to put #teamseas in the title.
Crabsquids are actually pretty easy to kill when you have the prawn suit, all you need to do is punch it like 8 times, & rises from the sea floor, dead.

The chalizerate has to be the most underated Leviathan. Every time I Encounterd him he jumpscared me and was Always Close. The worst experince with him was when I wanted to go inside a ventergarden and Had my Seatruck 60m away got jumpscared half way by him and when I wanted to go Back he killed me. Also the Shadow isnt that Bad and Hes the only Leviathan who bullys the prawn suit. He can destroy It in 3 hits. Idk how many the seadragon does but I dont use my prawm suit to Fight him

The reason people don't like Below Zero as much is because they have already played the first game and had already seen all of the unique mechanics. If they would've played Below Zero first, the original Subnautica would seem more boring.

Played subnautica the first time, and subzero didn't hit quite as well for me. That said, i really appreciated a main character with a voice, a more involved story, and some lore reveals. However, it was pretty apparent that they reused parts from the original intended story when making the new story/final vversion. Our ephemeral friend seemed a LOT more sneakily evil than they were, and there were some points where it seemed like the devs pretty much just put up barriers to close off sections they were no longer using. I'm still sore i can't have my cyclops with lantern trees providing my infinite food and water, but goddamn that sea tryck is cozy af

I like to build my base above the water, with part of it branching underwater, cause obviously I need some water if I am going to use the filters to get that sweet sweet renewable source if water and salt, and I guess the moonpool is nice too
If you can't move your seamoth off the land use the repulse Cannon to get it in the sea
that didn't work either, i had to make a prawn suit to push it back in

i actually just lost my seamoth by grappling to it with my prawn and im pissed XD
I beached my sea moth on the aurora because I was afraid a reaper would destroy it while I was gone exploring. I come back with the sea moth depth module mk 1 only to find my sea moth clipped out of bounds in the aurora. It was worse because my sea glide had a empty battery.

Tbh getting copper is easy nowadays in the first subnautica Just go in the mushroom boom and at its edges your gonna find tons of copper of u have the drill arm on the prawn suit
I remember the first time I played the game I got to the part where it says that there are multiple leviathan class life forms in the region and then I dipped under water and saw a few reefbacks and thought I’d be fine and then I heard a reaper leviathan roar and look below me and all I see is the head of the reaper and then it killed me

I also cant be the only person who only see reaper behind aurora and not around i mean i loot the boxes around aurora after i get the seaglide and i never see it…. But ill never forget the one time i went behind the aurora thinking that there wasnt anything scary in the game

Okay so I started playing this for the first time today, and I went to the movies with my freind and told him about it. He told me to go to the back of the aurora, because there was apparently good stuff there. So I did, in my little sea moth(once I got it) and I was contentedly cruising along, when I ran into a sand shark, I swerved past the thing, noting it’s audible growls, when I suddenly heard a sound that did NOT sound like a sand shark. I hurriedly looked around, and spotted the silhouette of something with arms coming out of its head. I was like, NOPE, and jumped into my sea moth and tried to book it outta there, when suddenly my sea moth started shaking, then the beast seemed to grab me with those head appendages of his, and stared my right in the eyes, I actually exclaimed in horror and shock, and then it let me go, and I absolutely TORE all the way back to my base. I documented my first sighting of the beast and the initial attack with the in game camera, and promptly hung it on my base’s wall as my first encounter with whatever that thing was. It had four eyes, four arms on it’s head, and was red and whitish brown. Can someone please tell me what it was?
its called a reaper leviathin ur friend was lying NEVER GO THERE or you will die the reaper is very powerful and there are many types like the ghost leviathin which can be found it the lost river or if you go to far away from your pod so ye ur friend wa lying and u could of died from that
here are tips on how to suvive the leviathins: they are blind so it usses sonar which means if u hear a leviathing do a loud roar its chasing u also just upgrade ur seamoth and one last thing, there is a friendly leviathin which u see at the end of the game i wont spoil anything about it though
forgot to say that if u drive ur cyclops and a leviathin attacks u it will follow they mosly attack at night

Its probably getting out of your seamoth while its still moving so it kills you when you get out. or it could be your low on oxygen and your seamoth is right there, but instead of getting in your seamoth you click the power cell and die. (Both have happened to me)
