Just back from 3 weeks in Paris (05 March-26 March). Please, please, please stop and just soak it all in. We ran around for days. Looking back we needed more "free time". As stated below, a Bonjour! will go a long way and you will be welcomed everywhere. Skip the hotel rooms with families. Rent a homeaway, vrbo or aribnb. You wont regret it!. Hearing our 2 adult/teen sons talking and just "existing" in earshot makes my heart soar. I hated being in the airport hotel the last night and not hearing or seeing them. Plus shopping at Carrefour or Monoprix is your best bet for some snacks and cost effective cooked meals. Yes, pre book all your tours and special meals as soon as you can. Speaking from experience!
That is wonderful that you got to spend three weeks in Paris with your family. Thanks for sharing your experience and tips. Those extended stays allow time to soak up the city feel and life.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Which arrondismont/neighborhood did you stay in? Traveling in late April and wanted to see which location would be best
@@tyralewis6263 The 6th. In the heart of Saint Germain. Our home away from home. Around the corner from Cafe de Flore and Les Deux Magots. And Louis Vuitton!
If a waiter is asking for a tip tell him to pound sand. They absolutely do not ask Parisians for tips.
Another great video Mates. Lots of very pertinent information in this. I especially endorse the basic manners of saying "Bonjour" etc (because it really does go a long way, along with "Merci" and "Sil Vous Plait"), and those fast closing doors on trains. Tourists and locals alike, get caught off guard with those if you're not paying attention. Keep up the great job on these.
Thanks for watching and the comment! We appreciate the extra language tips. Good point!
A lovely video! Thank you!❤

It is all about those details! Enjoy the trip planning and have a great trip to Paris!
Very helpful tips - I’m taking my daughter to London & Paris in December and I’m finding your videos so informative, thank you. I have also downloaded your guide - thanks so much
Thanks for downloading the itineraries! Enjoy the trip in December. The holidays are a wonderful time in both cities.
Oh my goodness. Such a great helpful video. Will definitely be downloading your information. Thank you so much. Does the Seine river tour pick up and drop off at the same location? That’s the only thing I was confused on.
Yes! It picks up and drops off at the same location. Thanks for watching!
Do you have a link for your accommodation?
What camera and camera equipment do you use for your around the city parts? Thanks!
Thanks for watching! We used a GoPro 10 for most of the shots. We know use a DJI Pocket which is a lot smoother and a better picture.
The link for Airalo leads to a guide for London

Very helpful video. I saw in a couple of your clips the mom was carrying what looks like a sort of scooter or something. We have a 5 year old we will be traveling with who we know won't be able to walk the whole time, but a stroller seems overkill. Just wondering if you can recommend some options, other than Dad carrying him a lot :)
We were carrying a babyzen yoyo stroller. It is a great travel stroller but overkill for a five year old. I’d be nervous about a scooter as the streets and sidewalks can be hectic. Take the metro often?
How do you feel about April near the tower.?
Do it! good shoulder season month to visit.
They still using paper metro tickets? I tot they abolished it couple of years back?
Nope, we used them on our last trip. Not as convenient but it made sense for us.
@@YourGuidesAbroadNavigo Easy card with un carnet is a better option
Sorry, but you need a better microphone and acoustic environment (less echo).
Thanks for the feedback!
I hope I won’t be regret going to this beautiful city because they have strike all the time specially 2024 metro strike from feb to Sep 9 , again strike on Olympic month are u kidding me ?!! 😡🤬
You won’t regret! Have a great time.
