I need so bad to see the early 2023 version of Rybakina again. Back then she was so confident and injury free and her playing style was so effective. She was very hard to be stopped.
She was actually injured then too
She’ll be back🏆🏆
really hope so
She’s overrated. Everyone exploited her movement in the half of the season
Unless she runs into Samsonova 😁
Sabalenka, Rybakina, Gauff they all played the best season of their life but it is still 1GA with the most wins (68) and titles (6). Fully deserved No. 1 for the 2nd year in a row. Saba had the chance to win 2 or 3 GS. She won only one. Ryba doesn't have the health and play style to be consistent the whole season. Coco had an amazing US swing. But the rest was very mid. Wimbledon should have been Saba's or Ryba's. Sad they didn't handle the pressure.
Sabalenka and Rybakina just had very hard draw in Wimbledon (Rybakina had 2 giant killers in the first two rounds + both lost against God mode Jabeur). But agree for the rest.
Jabeur should have won Wimbledon
"Ryba" stands in Polish for "fish".
Coco won due to likely Briberies. No way she would have won The USO.
One more year.... 1GA Dominating the tour🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 #jazda_1GA❤🇵🇱❤🇵🇱❤🇵🇱❤
im just loving the Sabalenka-Rybakina-Swiatekrivalry in the first half of the year. hope we can get more of those in 2024
It's not an easy year for Iga, and I'm so happy to see she recovers so soon and becomes even more powerful. Can't wait for the new season coming.😊
I love this compilations every year. Amazing summary for the season. Great job!
I would love to have Jabeur and Rybakina win big in 2024. They deserve it so much after a year riddled with injuries and tough losses.
See 😢 yo igual recién se esta confirmando que su problema de espalda lo tenía desde febrero, que se recupere pronto la princesa elena ❤
Thank you for this video! Sabalenka had a great season but couldn't manage to win enough trophies to keep her #1 ranking. Go 1GA! ❤
Krejcikova beating Swiatek in Dubai was one of my favourites. She played incredible
Would love to see big hitters like Ostapenko, Samsonova to go further in slams. Would make for some more entertaining finals.
LOLLL THE NO HANDSHAKE BY BELINDA 😂😂 01:00
Where?
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO ALL MONTH OMGGG
Thank you for making this. It must have been so hard to pull all of these small clips together. ❤❤❤
Good season after some inconsistent seasons!! I think the WTA (in terms of quality of players) is headed in a good direction
So happy to see Bia among the winners
Kvitova, Boulter and Ostapenko 🤩
Best ones. Their entertainment value is something else 🤩
@@Make_Australia_British_Again exactly! Kvitova is a veteran and I always root for the veterans. Also I like her as a player and a person. Boulter because she’s British which is also my nationality. Ostapenko because she has a fiery game and personality 👍
1GA SWIATEK 2023 excellent ending year ❤🎉
That was a great year for WTA 🤩
About time I've been waiting for my end of year tournament video 😂❤
7:10 love Ekaterina’s game. The sound that comes off her racquet packs a punch. Shame she’s not more consistent.
Idk why she just couldn't bring what she played into Grand Slam matches
@@chitrung3518seems to be a recurring theme. *COUGH* *COUGH* SAKKARI.
Alexandrova is a dangerous dark horse in any tournament but needs to be more consistent
Thanks for the sum up.
Highlights of 2023 : - I swear Sakkari winning a 1000 title is quite a shock to me, I would say it's even shocker than Garcia losing all her WTA Finals points - Rybakina is too tall so that her movement is quite robotic, maybe she will replace Pliskova as the new Robo Queen - Aryna has fought really hard, she deserves to be no 1 and winning AO, please don't take that away from her. - Vondrousova deserves more credit from people, winning that Wimbledon trophy wasn't easy, she has proven herself since the start of her career. - Kenin still has that potential to win another Grand Slam - Raducanu was very unlucky - I still don't get Adidas's kits for US Open swings - Vekic moving to the QF of the Australian Open and winning Monterrey is something that, as a Vekic's fan, I couldn't think about after her surgeries - Last one : Mladenovic is on her way, learning the 100th languages
That Mladenovic analysis got me 😂 Muguruza well and truly cursed her after that match lmao
@@DeclanSkinner now both Mladenovic and Muguruza disappered 😭
@@chitrung3518 yeah it’s so unfortunate as I’m a Muguruza fan. As for Mladenovic I’m not a fan but same goes for her in that unfortunate sense 😔
@@DeclanSkinner 😭😭😭 mladenovic is somewhere to be found in ITF events and mugurura is somewhere in Spain doing Yoga classs 😭😭
1GA !!! 1GA !!! 1GA !!! 😀
Incredibly Good Athlete
This Cleveland trophy looks like one of those candy jars you find in any cheap store. 😅
Czechs are unstoppable 🎉
Nicely chosen thumbnail 👌👌
Appreciation comment for your effort
16:36 Once again, it shows how Zheng Qinwen is unsportsmanlike.
I agree
I mean, Dasha-Keys final in Eastbourne just gave me too much trauma😭
That sabalenka swiatek handshake in Stuttgart so weirdddd
Sabalenka hates losing at Stuttgart more than losing at slams.
In 2023 Sabalenka lost in Stuttgart for the third time... in a row. And last two times she was defeated by Iga. I can't blame her that she's pissed. 😂 Organizers denied her that pretty Porsche.
Omg the opening I died
Im the happiest for Siniakova!
Lo bueno que el 2023 le fue bien a las chicas top 10..
Where’s the clip where Parks called Garcia in the ceremony? Think it was on another video but find it anymore
You even have included Maria Sakkari winning the Guadalajara WTA250.....
I thought Rybakina from sunshine double would take everything by the next months even losing Miami's final the toughest thing was break her service and that's a big deal in women where hold generally is rarer than break 😂 but her shoulder injury finished her chance of big achievements the season, also unlucky schedules the only woman player to play twice after midnight and she played multiple times after 10pm. Of course we can't say "if" because "if" doesn't exist anyway all that might be a motivation for herself she could feel how far she can go.
Loser of the year award goes to Samsonova. More than final played award goes to Krejcikova (3W-2L) Both players on the +2 finals (Swiatek - Sabalenka, Sabalenka - Rybakina, Swiatek - Pegula)
I hope Keys can get over the USO semifinal loss to Sabalenka. She pretty much gave up the rest of the season and had an outside chance of making the WTA finals.
I know it's not the "WTA", but you CAN make a video including the Billie Jean King Cup, too.
Sabalenka has the charm of a kohlrabi.
Osaka court colour give me nightmares of AO & Us old days
Czechs are always the best 🎉
Pegula samsonova jabeur deserves a slam next year Why not a second for penko and rybakina
For non hardcore fans of tennis this is very good ..,.kindly add the tournament name and level like , grand slam, master250, 1000, etc, i
No need to be hardcore fans to pick up the phone and google Grand Slams..
Im here to see all the trophies. Nothing else
biaaaaaaaaaaaa
9:38 14:49 should be Zheng, not Qinwen. Her family name is Zheng 13:40 should be Wang, not Xiyu.
It’s like everyone can win a tournament these days 😆
Lmao 😂 it's you and I that need to be called everyone and dare I say we ain't winning shit
No penko?!
There was one penko win
Zheng Qinwen’s Family name is Zheng not Qinwen.
And Wang Xinyu’s is Wang.
I know, just wanna be more clear, so many wang Zheng out there
That was the worst US Open in history. Gauff was gifted that title by opponents who lost to themselves, she did nothing. Doesn’t compare to Serena or Venus’s US Open wins at all.
That was absolutely the case 🙄
If Swiatek were in a at least solid form after Roland Garros, Coco would probably not have won Cincinnati and the US Open.
@@greggxx2 Iga was in very solid form after Roland Garros. New personal best in Wimbledon, semifinals in Montreal and Cincinnati. She was just unlucky to face her biggest cryptonite in US Open.
Sabalenka's handshakes with Swiatek are awful. Shes such a horrible person
LMAO lauren davis won a title??
12:23 MOST CONTROVERSIAL VICTORY OF THE YEAR TROPHY GOES TO... COCO GAUFF!!!!!
Yep 👎
should be Sakkari 😂
She was handed that trophy by the biased scheduling of the US Open, in-form players like Ostapenko hardly any rest before their matches when she had a late night finish beating Swiatek, when Coco had full two days rest.
@@Make_Australia_British_Again don't you remember what happened in the match when she played against Laura siegemund?
One of the worst years in WTA history
Agreed 👎
it was ok why?
@@ivancurapov8342just boring having Swiatek winning everything. Matches don’t have that wow-factor anymore. It doesn’t look like they *win, it looks like the other player lost if you know what I mean. The WTA rewards unforced errors , not lights-out tennis like it used to.
@@Make_Australia_British_Again I think you forgot that it was always WTA since Williams era - strong, physical tennis with a lot of UE.
What? It was one of the most competitive years in the recent few years in WTA...
