Advice for people, don’t cheat the test. When you’re reviewing or nominating pokestops you will want to know the criteria. It can have a negative affect on your profile.
11 days?💀
the vid might've been up then for a couple mins
Not really but 👌🏾
11 days 😱😱😱
11days ago he from the past
Me just watching seeing if i can make my living room a poke stop:
A couple of things to note is that by reviewing you get a great understanding of what to do and what not to do when nominating. You'll see some pretty bad nominations and some that make you think a lot before accepting them. If you do something like 500 reviews, take your time and make sure you look up if it's acceptable criteria, you'll be a pro at nominating. Another thing is that you don't HAVE to Appeal one if it got rejected. I've had a couple that were rejected and I nominated them again, one with a better photo and another with much better supporting information, and they went through the second time. Also Daxi already said it in the video but the Discord is a really valuable resource. When I have a reviewing or submitting question that I can't find the answer to online I go there and they are great help.
Keep in mind the stops will NOT be accepted in 3 days time usually. It's closer to 6 months depending on how many people are reviewing in the area.
Since i live in ny the pokestops get reviewed by the end of they day 👹
with upgrades they can be 3 days!
6 months was the fastest I got a decision lol Where I live it takes around a year
@ Android link not able to open. Pl help.
I got 6 pokestops thrue within 10 days 😅
Sooo some tips on my side, since I have plenty of experience and a ton of successful stops all around my country. First, don't hesitate to try out horizontal and vertical photos - usually what works best for the nomination photo is vertical, especially after the crop for the smaller sized pokestop circle (which is what most people will see). On the contrary - for support photo I HEAVILY recommend doing a horizontal photo, even switching to wide angle photo, since the goal is to make the audience most aware of the actual location, so you might want to include as much as possible in the photo. Another photo related tip - if you are in a location which does not have access from google street view perspective (like a park, area behind a house, area obstructed by trees or cars on the street view) you street view to create and post a 360 sphere - it is easy and fast to do and will help a TON reviewers to check the percise location and approve your nomination. Describe if your location is not 100% percise - use the opportunity to tell your votes when your nomination is not 100% accurate - explain what is the reason and where the actual location is. Usually, it is pretty acceptible to move the location slightly in order to place it in a free cell. Even by official Niantic standards, it is fine to have a few meters offset from the original location. And to be honest, this is a REALLY common thing I see. So describe and be friendly to the community, who is going to read it! Last but not least - learn your community's standards. At the end, even if Niantic have rules, the ones which decide your nomination are the users so go and check what kind of nominations are accepted by your community and try to fit to those standards. It might not be the most politically correct thing to say but often the community accepts interesting things which are not 100% compliant with the official Niantic terms. And this is fine. At the end, at least for that we truly have a vote and can impact a change, right :)
how do you post a 360 sphere? didn't google street view get discontinued, really need solution for this. thanks for info btw
@iceb0lt586 hmm that is unfortunate, you are right..I haven't had a need for one in a long time and now that i tried it seems you are right
My area posted a child care location as stop because it has a cheap mural on it for the kids lol. But the stop itself literally mentions the child care location lol. As well as a library that's essentially on a middle school xD
@@iceb0lt586use Google pixel camera if you don't have Google pixel and have android use a APK and idk how to do it for ios
Tip: don’t appeal if you want it to get reviewed fast. Just nominating it again is way faster then waiting on niantic to handle your appeal.
Very true
I’ve literally thought about making some Pokémon themed sculpture or statue and placing it in my nearby park with approval to try and get them to put a poke stop or gym there, this helps a ton
You have to see it on google map or somthing
Make sure that it follows the s2 cell rules
You can but make sure it's permanent and you may need to get it showing on google maps
This is so well done and made my week. Thank you! I can't wait to nominate a stop
i actually got a pokestop i can access from my living room nominated and it showed up i was delighted
lucky
i actually have 3, its very cool when im taking a dump lol
Thanks man!! Got me motivated to go make a few!
Thanks so much, I only watched your videos and cleared the test as well and successfully nominated a pokestop, also my profile is very good for reviewing thanks to your guidance video, Once again a genuine thanks from the bottom of my heart❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
great vid dax, hit all the points. Also what a great park, might have to check it out sometime
The mobile link isn't working
Thank you for this video I really love your content
Yeeeess thank you pokedaxi for hearing our requests!!
Today my pokestop got nominated thanks to your privious video 💙 a big thanks to you and your helpful video 💙 always looking forward to your videos
Best guide on this I've seen, thanks Daxi. I just wish my very rural area had something, anything, that I could nominate, but alas, apart from natural beauty, unpolluted countryside and open spaces, we have nothing, not even a shop.
Yeah I was hoping to be able to do something near where I live. The neighbor has an old tractor and an old buggy at the end of his farm-long driveway but you can't just walk up to it (no sidewalks). You'd have to drive to it and then pull over at the start of his driveway. But most things in the country are like that. 🤷♂️
Work with your city or county officials and see if you can create a community garden or statue to honor local veterans
Thank you so much for giving the knowledge of the Ingress ITTC map viewer. I just cancelled one of my nominations because I think it actually would have overlapped with another that was close to it. This video might be the most helpful and useful piece of Pokestop nomination knowledge out there.
I'm glad I can help!
Hey! Is android link still working. I can't open
I'm so glad it went thru for you! That's really cool! Thanks for the info!
How can I do the link thing he gave I don't see it plzz help me
Your the best 🤘your videos are always super informative
Pretty nice that i got this video, i just got level 37 and wanted to place a pokestop
Again a very good video! IItc is based on Ingress portals and therefore unfortunately does not show all Wayspots that might exist in Niantic's Wayspot database (called "Lightship"). However, you can see "invisible" Wayspots during the nomination Process while setting the location Pin on the Map. Use this knowledge to avoid submitting duplicates and thank me later.🤓
Thanks for the tip!
You are my fav pokemon go creator rn n the content is awesome 🎉
All because he’s not their puppet! But this game is going to die unfortunately so 🤷🏿♂️
Brilliant video. No one creates them like you do.
Glad your posting more about pokestop nominations! I was finally able to get one of my nominations accepted within 4 days without an upgrade!
Let's go congrats!
@ Ty very much!
I really needed this because I live in Northern Africa where there are no poke stops and no gyms True that I don’t have the credentials to make one but at least i now know
Same india Village
this was just brought up on the wayfarer discussion discord. the photo does not have to be in "portrait" mode. sometimes "landscape" is better. great video though. i actually take my photos first, then go through them and make sure there is nothing in the photo that i can't see in the thumbnail, and then use the "choose existing" option to submit my photos.
Anyone having issues w/ the android link? If you can even call it that? looks like it's missing some HTTPS info Poki Daxi
I've added a few stops at my favorite park. Thanks for the tips on the S2 map cells. But I've also had a couple chances to mark a stop as "permanently removed" when the point of interest was physically removed (sometimes replaced with a new building, other times, the item was simply removed). In another instance, I submitted a spelling correction for the business name where the stop was located. A review on that process would be a good followup video subject for everyone.
even if a spot was removed id still keep it just so theres more 🤷♀️
Cool.
@@BlastingKyogre exactly my closet pokestop isn’t even there physically lol
Theres a pokestop where an apartment complex used to be but it has a public play area for everyone and it makes me chuckle when it says roselawn apartments but theres nothing but park
I also like to use an app that puts a little GPS Tag on the lower part of the supporting image, to further prove the location. The GPS Tag contains a little Map, the coordinates and the street name.
Ou that sounds nice!
App name?
Just got back from a weekend in Ottawa. I had to make a pilgrimage while I was there to spin this stop before I headed back to Toronto. It was still there and looking wonderful.
Soooo helpful! Thanks for the video
I love my local community. 3 pokestops of same things (old bunkers) got accepted, but the same type of bunker near me was not accepted 😑
Great content, as always. Some additional thoughts: Often, good submissions will be rejected for bad reasons. It is much faster to resubmit than it is to appeal. Save your photos to use again. I am not reviewing as much as before, part of the HearUs movement... From looking at lower activity discord groups about wayfarer, I think others are not reviewing as much either. Things feel like they have slowed down. If you upgrade a submission, it is more likely to be rejected. I think that is because it goes out to a broader, perhaps international reviewer pool, and they can be more harsh than a local pool. Instead of wasting upgrades, just put many good submissions in the queue and forget about them. Those that are rejected, just resubmit. In many cases, they will eventually be approved. If an approved stop is subsequently moved into a level 17 cell that already has a stop, both stops will still show in the game.
That’s the problem. Now I have a few upgrades ready and I don’t blame anybody for not reviewing because I’m not doing it myself! From getting good nominations denied because I’ve gotten a few done in my complex already to the movement. Fed up. Not doing anymore free work for them but at least it was good while it lasted
Thank you for this video I will now make a lot of poke stops
I just got to level 37 so I'm glad this video was recommended!❤
Another amazing and informative video, thank you Daxi! I just want to share a quick success story…I once nominated a stop that got denied and later saw that someone else’s nomination for the spot at a later date was approved, and with a picture that they took. I think if it gets denied, I would recommend having other players nominate that spot assuming it is a reasonable location!
Agreed - had a very similar story in my local area
They should add a personal poke stop that you can place. You don’t get as much stuff as a normal one, but it’s only accessible to you and friends
Thank you! helped me get a pokestop in my neighbourhood in 1 day :D
im level 39 and totally forgot about this feature! thanks for the instructions!
Living in a rural area I find the criteria for even nominating good Pokestops are really hard. We have no public art, parks, fountains, librarys, churches, public playgrounds or any such. We have great mountain- and lake views and rolling farmland. The only two Pokestops in my village are down by the lake along a road unaccessable in wintertime (November-May) unless on snowmobile. I really wish Niantic would be more lenient on what's considered a good Pokestop in the countryside. There are plenty of beautiful trails for hiking around here but no signs for them to use as a Pokestop. Also to be able to play Pokemon GO in wintertime Pokestops need to be accessible by car since the cellphones have a tendency to shut off from the cold when out walking. Standing outside in -25 to -35 degrees Celsius trying to take down a Gym won't work. 😕
My nominations just all get denied…
i nominated rly good spots in my locations and they all got denied…and it’s funny cause i follow all the rules and still dosent work…the community sucks
@@hi_1m_eric301yeah and then I see the goofiest things get accepted. There’s one place without a picture that’s a pokestop because it doesn’t even exist. Most of the pokestops I’ve seen came out with the game. Haven’t seen many pop up since 2016.
Just wanna tell you how well-made your thumbnails are
Thanks for the tips
the download link for android dosent work
The Android download link isn't clickable.
hey ik u probably wont see this but i really like your content man keep up the good work:)
Thanks again Daxi for this
Your explanation is very good. But curse those people who rejected all of my 5 elegible Nominations :(
Same. Me too. I got discouraged and will never do it again.
Don’t give up there are still appeals where you give it to Niantic and they review it. It usually takes a month max. Most of the time it takes around 2 weeks but you still make a nomination.
@@YoItsDolphin wow!! an appeal result for only a month. My appeals usually have results after a year.

This is awesome 👌 thank you
Thanks daxi i was loocking for the extensión
The IITC-CE Mobile app won't download on my phone cause it was made for an older version of Android apparently. Is there a newer version of the app? Also the extension link doesn't seem to work either. Just hit 37 and want to nominate some stops, hope I can figure it out!
Can't get android Download link bro
Great explanations and very clear but …Wow 3 days to get through!!! I’ve got about 30 POIs in and quite a lot declined usually an upgraded submission 😞. I have reviewed a lot and I’m fair but a lot of reviewers are not. Some of my accepted PoIs I’ve had to nominate multiple times before they get through. I currently have a few nominations that have been in the queue for nearly a year! So again …. 3 days for you !!!!
thank you!!
Thank goodness I turned level 37 today
This looks very helpful. I’m Level 36 right now and definetly going to create a Pokestop when I‘m Lv. 37. There is no Pokestops in over 500 meters from my home…
It's lvl 38 not 37
@@StevoDoesGamingDBZ its 37
@@BattleandBeyond since when????
@@StevoDoesGamingDBZ not sure since when. I have a level 37 and I have submitted requests for new stops
I grinded so hard to get to 37 and didn’t end up making my first one until lv 44 haha but THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS VIDEO HELPED ME MAKE MY FIRST POKESTOP TODAY 👊😁!!
WHAT???? BRO YOU GOT MILLIONS OF XP BEFORE YOU GOT ACCEPTED??? DAMN
I'm bout to hit level 39...I've been wantin to make one but wasn't sure and been to busy to try...so I seen this notification so I'm check-in this video out before I try 😆
Hey daxi, i cant seem to download IICT CE mobile? I have a Samsung but i cant find it and when i want to place a stop it says i need to do a tutorial which i have already completed. How do i go on?
We need more of these videos pls so ppl know what to nominate and which nominations reviewers should accept
I have a whole playlist on my channel about this stuff! Hope people go watch it!
@Poké Daxi I know I've watched them, but I'm still getting good nominations rejected like swings

Very helpful on the cells when thinking about more than one cool idea in a cell so I know not to waste my time even if they meet most qualifications.
That realy cool tuto, first time i see someone tell it with the minimum of knowlewgde to do.
I tried doing everything you did on that iitc-ce mobile and it is very different I think you need an update video
Can't download IITC-CE Mobile. Is there another option?
great video to appear after fennekin comm day
I got a gym in my street and an pokestop nearby aswell this month can't wait till my other nomitation get reviewed
cant get the add on anymore?
Can’t believe his got accepted in 3 days, I’ve had ones from September that are still in voting 💀
It depends how many reviewers there are in your review area and how dense the stops already are in the area you submitted it.
I’m lv42 and forgot this feature existed lol I managed to pass the quiz hopefully I will be able to submit new areas for my community😊
thank now I know everything to do pokestop
Moving pokestops would be pretty cool.
You can. But be extremely careful about it. Don't move it to somewhere that the actual item the pokestop represents blatantly is not. Niantic will suspend your Wayfare account for 30 days , then 90, then permanently.
for the android link, it isn't a link thats clickable and I can't copy and paste with my phone for some reason. Could you please fix it? Thank you
Bump:D
This is a great video for rural players
Why can't I copy the Android plugin link?
When i nominated a pokestop it was a nature sign it took 4 month to get accepted to ingress
@3:00 - that picture on the bottom is Sun Studios in Memphis, TN... I miss my home town sometimes... 😊
Here in Mexico there are a LOT! of pokestops and gyms that are "expendios de cerveza" or places where you get beer and snacks
The most frustrating thing that I find with nominations is the fact that you don’t know if it’s in another game or not or when they put “other rejection criteria” because then you don’t actually know the issue
it is so hard as a reviewer not to have more responses, but sometimes "this just doesn't meet criteria" is as close as we can get. i usually use it for items i think are mass-produced, generic, or not interesting. none of those are rejection reasons we can choose. if you get that rejection, it means you have not convinced reviewers it is "a great place of exploration, place for exercise, or place to be social." emphasis on "great"
Unfortunately they don't really get alot of options to decline - naintic needs to let reviewees write text
@Poké Daxi we can add additional comments when rejecting nominations though only Niantic will ever see it. I have a feeling one reason why that text isn't made available to the nominator is because they don't want to waste time having to moderate those comments.
I went from two Pokestops to TWENTY-TWO (8 gyms and 14 Pokestops) in a 1km radius from my home after your video from a few years ago. I've a few more i could add but havent bothered yet. I played the "get one stop in and THEN nominate another to create a gym" game. But... I still have to walk to reach the closest Pokestop. An issue is who reviews. I'm in rural southern Japan. Ocean east, west, and south of me so most reviewers are city folk from further north... without rural knowledge. I even review nominations from all of Japan more than local ones. Stuff that would pass in the city may get rejected because of pedestrian access because...rural roads have no sidewalks... even though locals walk them daily. If a bus stop can be on a rural road with no sidewalks then so can a wayspot. Or you get the reviewer who thinks "That park has too many rest areas (for example) as wayspots so im rejecting it" rather than treating each nomination seperately.
How!!
@@LeCaleb I walked around and looked everywhere. I live in rural Japan but was shocked at what there was that is eligible. Rice, tea, and farm fields. There are a surprising number of monuments to public works over the years. They tell what was done and who donated. Japan wasn't always a rich country so a lot was done with local donations. There are also a lot of rice field god and water gods (stone statues). Three small parks, two community centers, a public pool, a post office, a budokan, a kyudo (archery) range, a historical site. I got lucky because the elementary and junior high schools are only 1km away. BUT ..I live in a mountainous area so it's straight line 1km. A lot of pokestops and gyms are on the opposite side of mountains. You can't get gyms without stops so I played the IITC square pin placement game to make sure there were at least two pokestops per zone to turn one into a gym.
@@wendyon4517 damn!!! Lucky
@@LeCaleb Lucky for some things. Being rural still means I'm the only one battling a gym so no shadow articuno for me.
I did this for my development and they even added a gym it was awesome
So I did the test and it said something abt how yay I completed the test and then it made me do reviews and I think it has been 15 minutes so I should be able to retake the wayfair test…. good vid tho!
When we were first able to do this I nominated about 15 different stops that were all very eligible but never were approved so I have never done it since
Some serious haters reviewing stops these days. Guys will literally deny stops out of spite.
Struggling to follow android link for downloading plugin
It's very useful for me, I just have 1 pokéstop that is at less than 2km away from my house, and the place where I live has a few locations that are very much eligible for Pokéstops. Well, I can't really do that right now because I'm only at level 21, but I guess I'll get there eventually...
Very helpful video now I can nominate some poke stops in my area.
I’ve nominated a park in my neighborhood at least a dozen times. Always gets rejected.
I feel like Niantic is taking advantage of us for free labor. Still is nice to add to the map for gameplay and the community, but they should let us raid for free at the gyms we make or give some coins!
THIS! I literally haven’t reviewed since the movement started back up and I keep getting good stops denied. I can’t blame anybody else for not reviewing either. They really are trying to kill their own game.
100% NIANTIC is getting loads of data they can sell to other developers. A cash cow that will pay long after interest in Pokemon Go wanes.
im interesting in learning the gym rules for the map thing/other map. is there a video for that? tyy
I finally nominated a few stops while camping a few weeks ago. I would have nominated them last year but I didn't know you could save multiple nominations to upload on Wi-Fi. They're still "In Voting" but I'm hopeful. Edit: I have since successfully nominated two PokéStops in my community, including one that got approved just yesterday. Thanks, Daxi. 😁
The Android link does not work
Thanks bro. I want to create my own pokestop but is so hard to answer questions
I used to work on a military base and when I first went there. There was poker stops, gyms and Pokémon everywhere. But 1 day all the spawns stopped. The gyms and stops were still there, but there are no Pokémon unless you used a lure. But anytime an event started the sponsored return For A day or so
The android link doesnt work for me why is that i have an android tho
The app is no longer on the Play Store
There’s a lot of cemeteries used as poke stops and gyms where I live
Im in central Pennsylvania. There's a grave yard behind the Altoona hospital a VERY old one I guess I should add, that has SEVERAL pokestops in it...there's actually is grace markers that are pokestops...I thought it was kinda odd cuz not many graveyards have that many pokestops. There's a McDonald's in Altoona that has a Ronald McDonald statue outside of McDonald's that's a PokeStop. We usually hit Penn State campus cuz there's ALOT of gyms and pokestops there
