The street light that is turned on at the day and off at night really got me xD. But from the technical coolness my favourite was the 200 block long 3 by 3 door. That looked so smooth

Please make an elevator that goes sideways then automatically switches to going up when it reaches a point - or down if you want that floor, a bit like charlie and the chocolate factory!

@@brandonotto1461 Basically, outside the elevator you press the button to the floor. The elevator can be glass, does'nt have to be. The elevator will start going sideways - either 1 direction with no choice, or he might make it so that you can control which direction - behind, left, right, though i wouldn't be surprised if its only possible to do 1, say backwards. The elevator goes backwards instead of up, then will go up or down and go onto the floor, letting you get out, before going bcak to the original place.

@@wizard0078 Would that be floo powder? Or would you be referring to, the 5th book I believe, where the Ministry of Magic telephone box goes into the ground and to the actual building. The Ministry of Magic box would be an insanely cool concept to see in minecraft, and, though it isnt really a lift - its magic, its similar, and I would love to see that too!
@@pikmintopia I can't remember which part it was. Maybe it wasn't even harry potter, but i'm pretty sure. They stepped into the lift and then it went backwards, before going up/down as you said. Can't remember which part exactly tho. Maybe i'm mixing it up with another movie lol

I should've made this clearer in the video, yes the elevator is from Docm77's Hermitcraft base, however it is *not* his design. Me and my friend Superswaggerize built it for Doc to use on Hermitcraft. If you watch the video where Doc builds it, you'll see that he credits us. That door is actually amazing and I'm gonna build it in my base (not as long as you did but definitely needlessly long)
I had a stupid redstone idea when I saw the thumbnail that I am now going to attempt to explain. An “elevator” where you are on top of a gravity block, concrete powder if you want an aesthetic. The stuff holding those gravity blocks then falls out of the way and you and the gravity blocks begin to fall. Maybe have a slime block piston jut out briefly above to make you the player fall a bit faster than the blocks. Then below that gravity block platform is another set of slime blocks and pistons which will launch you up to the 1st floor (or second floor. The one above the ground floor.). But the floor above the ground floor will be seemingly closed because there will also be a floor of pistons holding up some gravity blocks which will go away and come back to let you in and catch you. I have no idea if this is possible. But it’s what came to mind when I saw the thumbnail, I immediately filled in the sandstone as sand and though of how to do a sand elevator. In my mind it was also a 3x3 floor. But if you can do anything of that idea that works I will be impressed.
Players and gravity blocks experience a completely different acceleration, so I doubt it would be easy
@@caspermadlener4191 I’m not saying it would be easy. But also I did suggest maybe using a downwards slime launcher to accelerate the player downwards faster than the gravity blocks.

Here's a really dumb suggestion: a 256x256 redstone door (If it's somehow possible make it also extend 256 blocks wide
Make real working telebim using lamps and observers to create moving text that can be entered via button system and remembered by contraption. I tried to make it by my self, but it complexes as it needs fully working memory system, alongside every letter exact timed preset library.
