Keep the music down, thanks.
One of the castles mentioned fell into "despair." I think the word she might have been going for was "disrepair."
castle castle castle.....
Thanks for the comments, I will try a better accent in future. Thank you for watching!
There were a number of mispronunciations for the simplest of words. Ireland sounded like “island” and despair sounded like “dispear”. Again, it felt very AI narrated.
The Irish castles 🏰 looks very awesome breathe taking Impressive picturesque moment. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.
Thank you! You too!
@@gotraveleurope I'm also Irish descent Including native American blood. The Dakota and Lakota sioux people who once dominated the northern Great plains during the 1800's!
I've been to all of them except Ashford. Glad you included Cahir castle... very underrated.
My people were from Donluce Castle on the northern shore on the cliffs overlooking the North Sea. It's ruins now but looked like it was awesome in it's day.
Great to hear that Jim! Thank you for commenting 🙂
Dunluce
we visited Burnatty Castle back in August of this year. It was a really nice place for a family trip. We enjoyed the visit at the castle and the village was also super interesting with loads of cottages from different times in Ireland, from the 1700's all the way to modern Ireland.
Thank you for sharing
The O'Briens were like the equivalent to the Campbell's in Scotland ...treacherous .
The castles are most stunning Beautiful castles that I've ever' seen. Impressive i enjoy the video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
In Ireland after kissing the stone we call it ( having the gift of the gab)❤
So enjoyed my visit there and the Village of times gone by... Also Dirty Nelly's...My Mother (Irish loved it).
Glad you enjoyed it
Glad you mentioned Dirty Nelly's
My ancestry comes down to one of these castles
Great to hear. Thank you for commenting!
Yous ❤🎉is the best man ❤❤
Thanks for your comment
Kilkenny was damage severely during Cronwells invasion of Ireland in 1650
Thank you John for extra info!
Kilkenny was built in the medieval time, but inside it looks very Victorian to me,
@@ATLmodK many of the occupants of the castle, redesigned them adding windows elaborate interiors that’s why you get the Victorian feeling within the castle they were remodeled to suit the living standards of Victorian times
Butler of Ormonde was a royalist so that would explain it.
If you get the chance tio visit Trim there's a statue of Duke of Wellington. It seems to be totally incongruous when you first see it (like it belongs in an English city) but there are good historical reasons for its prescence ..or maybe bad reasons depending on who you listen to...or just, you know...reasons. ;)
Wellington ancestry was Ireland and queen Elizabeth 11 Queen mother descendant of how Scots n Irish were same family
Thank you Richard for the comment, I visited Trim Castle last summer and I did not know that. Thank you for sharing!
Richard Wellington was ansestor of QE11mum down to last king of Tara.. Was any connection mentioned there
@@joprocter4573 Anglo Irish!
Duke descendancy was Irish Scottish whole line went back to Queen mother
I would have put Carrickfergus Castle in the video.;-)
Thank you for your comment. I will take a look at this for future videos!
Most unfortunate choice of intonation by narrator. Very distracting.
Thanks for the comments, I will work on a better accent in future. Thank you for watching!
I feel like it’s AI from its audio trimming and the fact a lot of the narration repeats phrases like “wealthy owners”. ChatGPT has exploded in use lately.
cahir, tv shows: like excalibur
The Castle Shopping Center in Swords County Dublin has a pretty decent Chinese restaurant.
Thanks for the comment. I'll be sure to check it out
@@gotraveleurope I mean Swords Castle is around 200 meters up the road from there, and Swords has a Round Tower and Clock Tower and then Malahide Castle is like 5 mins drive away from Swords but none of those has curry or barbeque sauce.
the pronunciation of Cahir mad me die a little inside but not bad, surprised that the Rock of Cashel wasn't there
Thanks for the comment. I plan on redoing the voiceover. This was my first ever video so I have learnt a bit since then. Thank you
@@gotraveleurope it's pronounced Caw-her
The castles and Irish history are beyond fascinating , beautiful and unique but the narrator seems either to be computer assisted or has a speech impediment ! They really do need to get better people to narrate such amazing places !
Thanks for the comment. I am planning to redo the voice over to fix it up. Thanks
We humans are equal apart from opportunity for some chosen few
Thanks for stopping by
Sorry for the corrections but its called the blarney stone not barley ❤
Thank you for the clarification
Its pronounced clare as in the girls name clare you pronounced it clear ❤ 🙏💚🤍🧡🙏❤️
Yes indeed, this was my first video so apologies about some of the pronunciation
"Iland"?
A lot of the pronunciation hurt.
@@PanglossDr Sure did!
land land land...
Thanks for the comments, I will do a better accent in future. Thank you for watching!
Ireland 😊
is the narrative by computer or actually a person ? pronunciation not correct?
It is a real voice. Apologies about the accent, it was my first KZhead video, I am working to improve this. Thank you for commenting!
I didn't expect her to pronounce Cahir properly but she did, well done!
Computer voice? Vizcount? “The Ireland…” what?
Thank you for watching
Is the narrator Asian trying to hide her accent? Really annoying. I’m sure she a nice person…
Thanks for the comments, I will work harder on this in the future. It was my first video! Thank you for watching!
@@gotraveleurope and I’ll be watching. 👍🫶
Mostly built by the English or British!
Yes indeed
Normans….not English or British!
@@williamrush6581 rollocks!
Wrong Cahir Castle was Built by the O' briens,Bunratty by the Macnamaras,Ross by the O' donoghues,Blarnely by the MacCarthies all irish clans.Trim ,Ashford,Kilkenny were built by the Normans
The Normans were the big builders but by the early 16th century the Irish were on.par with them .
What side of the road do Irish people drive on?
In Ireland we drive on the left side of the road, the same as the UK. We inherited many of our standards from the UK!
THATS UP TO THE DONKEY
