  • Here’s an even easier way (less smooth tho) When ⛳️ is clicked Reapeat until touch sprite ( any sprite you want) Change y by -10

  • great stuff. I’ve been using scratch since 2008 (with very heavy breaks inbetween at times lol) and I’m still almost a total noob bc I never really tried doing much game codey stuff until the last few years. some of this stuff feels like it should be really simple for me but I don’t really have the feel yet of coding logistics to think of it on the fly, so thanks so much for making these tutorials really simple, straight to the point, and easy to follow!

  • Shouldn't you add a wait until not touching ground in the forever? Else it just infinitely runs the -1 0 for the y vel and that eats up some processing, or am i wrong??

    • You don't need to, because the if condition is always running.

    • @@xxneweraxx7422 The wait until block is no different than a repeat until, it's just that it looks different. Scratch behind the scenes is still doing the same thing.

    • Rotation is significantly more complicated, and would take much more than just what was shown here.
