    • They assigned our group russian as a second language in uni, I have no choice but to learn it^^ it's really hard, so I get demotivated quite often.     • Funny! I believe a more literal translation might be, "be in good health," which might help explain the length. Other languages do this as well, e.g. in Korean, the first thing you'll probably learn for "hello" is 안녕하세요 (Annyeonghaseyo), which literally means, "are you at peace?"

  • This is exactly the kind of learning that I like: slow, clear pronunciation of the words. Plus, the fact that it's on youtube means you can replay to hear the words and phrases over again as often as needed :) EDIT: I mean seriously, why pay hundreds or even thousands to learn another language when you can easily learn it just like this for virtually free? :)

There’s a lot of words that we share between our two languages that have the same meaning but a lot of them sound very similar with a completely different meaning and that’s a bit of a challenge for me.
