All I can say is thank gosh I don’t have to smell this car anymore!! That was a CRAZY transformation on the interior! Have a great weekend everyone!
Wow, even the paper air fresheners hung from the rear view mirror had given up the fight over the smell. LOL
Do you wax or ceramic coat the interior door jams? Why or why not?
He balances his work and good life!! 🤔😏❤️
Your customers are trolling you with the shitty cars you've been doing lately.
The poweraide bottle is used for a light diffuser
I think the detail geek is getting trolled by the owner for bringing him this one. That detail probably costs more than the car is worth.
It’s all about the KZhead views anyway. That’s where Mitch makes the money on these horrific detail jobs.
True, this car needs scrapping.
The Hand tool rescue wrench has to be more than a coincidence
Look on the bright side: this car detailed and with a full tank now it has doubled the value.
There’s no question the detail job cost more than the car is worth, probably more like double. I’m guessing that nobody was paying for this detail, and the car was only done for KZhead revenue.
You are a saint, Mitch. If this thing rolled into my driveway, I would call a tow to take it directly to the junk yard.
*TRUMP 2024*
@@MikeYork-bn1mt Cult
I was thinking take it to the junk yard.
AGREED!
Yep, no kidding!
I've always heard that you can't polish a turd. Mitch just proved that you can! It will be the cleanest car in the junkyard! Great work as always Mitch!
unfortunately a lot of the cars entering the junkyard these days are new vehicles being totaled by insurance companies for minor issues but expensive parts so many junkyard vehicles tend to look nicer than you think for instance if my bmw i3 were to get rear ended, the trunk lid alone would make insurance want to total my vehicle even if it runs fine and is beautiful
And Mythbusters proved that, yes, you can polish a turd.
@@Robbie-mw5uu, yep! Unfortunately the cost of repair is so high now that many cars get “totaled” when they should have a lot of life left in them. I don’t think the car Mitch detailed has much life left in it. It would probably be unsafe to drive at highway speeds.
@@Robbie-mw5uuYeah that's so true, I have seen it happen so many times.
@@kevinleet3413I had a 1999 Toyota Corolla that in 2015 was nearly totaled by a lady backing up into it. $2500 car at the time, repairs $2200 lmao. And that was 9 years ago
Beater or not, it's insane to me the amount of filth people will drive around in. Also this video is a good examply of your theory about old cars having better quality materials. The carpet and seats came out soooo well.
It's so bad for you if you drive dirty cars. A four wheeled petri dish. 🤮
@@BURP39Reven worse if you use it as a hotbox 🤮🤢
@@knxcholx puke emoji x million
@@BURP39R exactly. People are nasty
The Gatorade bottle with the homemade fog lights had me laughing. Can't believe it took 26 years for this car to get its first detail. Great job Mitch!
Condition aside, I have to say the interior shots brought back some memories. You do not see these cars in northern New England AT ALL. Also bears thought about the absence of interior color selection in common cars today. I think that interior came out amazing. The fabric and carpet look soft now. Great job!
I detest rust so much. The seats of older vehicles are so comfortable and squishy. I miss those days. I think this Intrepid deserves some TLC. Replace the rubber trim, that headlight assembly, sand then wrap the car. It'll look tiptop. If the car functions and passes inspection there is nothing wrong with it.
@@Robbie-mw5uuexactly That car could be saved and it wouldn’t cost that much. Also cars from that era have benefits over cars today in some areas- carpet quality, simplicity of tech and parts make them easier to work on, cheaper parts, less computers.
Everyone had an Intrepid in New England in the early 2000's, virtually extinct now though
Regardless of whether the car is crappy or high end, your work ethic and professional attention is always the same. Awesome stuff 👍🏼
I appreciate that!
Love how it turned out it might be someone's only car and he wanted to appreciated by giving it some over due love
6:39 That’s a Hand Tool Rescue wrench, are you kidding me. That’s awesome.
I got so excited seeing that too
Whats the excitement about it? It's a tool.
I love that you're not the only commenter who is excited to spot it. lol
Saw that too
I seen the pics of this vid on FB and when I seen the wrench I immediately came here looking for answers lol
the colour change on those seats was crazyyyy ahahahaha killed it as always!
Interior. Suprised that you didn't use the OZONE Machine to reduce the smell while you were doing the exterior. Also would have been afraid to spray the exterior due to the amount of rust and the possibility of having the spray go through and spray on the inside. Great turn out on the inside of the vehicle. The fabric and carpet looked like they were of a higher quality than today's vehicle. Outstanding.
Holy crap! I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard at seeing the diy headlights 😂. That car wouldn’t pass New York State safety inspection, and I’d take a guess that it would fail emissions too.
6:40 A Hand Tool Rescue Wrench!! That guy has an awesome restoration channel!!
Just opened up KZhead to see this just posted, always my go to on a Friday! Great job (from the UK)
Good . My uncle is in Manchester now .but he is earning like 50£daily from doing deliveries. Can you suggest any work for him . Do detailers make good money there ?
Simply put: I can't believe the transformation. Great job!
I don’t think this car is worth detailing, but we still got another fun detailing video so kudos! 😀
its like a sleeper now except its not surprisingly fast, but surprisingly clean inside! haha
Such a nice interior transformation! I can only imagine it smells a lot better inside now!👍
The finished product looked perfect, got it ready to push into a junkyard 💙
You are so amazing, incredible work
That was very satisfying! The interior transformation did it for me. Great job with the details and treating it as if it was a new vehicle.
Not done watching yet, but wow this one is brutal. Excellent job so far on what you have to work with! Love the Gatorade bottle, that is sweet.
OMG, what an amazing job! When I was younger, I always thought the name of the car was "cool" to say lol it was crazy to see the seats go from gray to blue 😮 I love your dedication to your client's vehicles! You did amazing with this one ❤
Mitch you are indeed a magician, when it comes to detailing cars! My goodness, you did a fantastic job on this Intrepid. Have a restful weekend.
Шикарная работа коллега !!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Mitch, you're a legend! Insane job 😄
Thank you!
Hey Mitch. I think a short of cleaning one of those super nasty carpet sections in real time would be awesome!! I look forward to it 😊
The first cleaning I’ve watched where the detail is worth more than the car
Hi Mitch ❤ it’s finally Friday 🎉 enjoy your weekend 😊
thanks for this video man. i’ve got an old project car with a lot of that needs a lot of the same done to it and you helped me figure out how i’m gonna tackle it all
❤ fantastic as always
You done such amazing job on that car You are one amazing detailer
You're work ethic is off the charts. Great job.
As much as these extreme cars bring in the views, I love seeing everyday cars come back to life.
Despite its age and state of filth the interior is in pretty good shape and cleaned up nicely. I am surprised though that the rear quarter panels didn’t disintegrate from the power washer. Great job!
I have that exact contigo coffee mug... solid choice 👍
Wow...the legend of Mitch grows. Unreal, dude! 🤘
Awesome vid💪🙏 keep up the great work 💯
a good old Intrepid aka the Saskatchewan Panamera.
The phrase "lipstick on a pig" is what jumps to mind here. You did an amazing job of cleaning all the muck and filth out of this ignored 26 years. It seems like when really high, people have inventive ideas about how to fix and customize cars. We didn't see the car move, so we don't know if it got towed in or not. Was it able to be driven in? This was a really good demonstration of how powerful your APC and other chemical products are in a destroyed vehicle. Poor Justin never got the letter he was supposed to buried amongst the mess. So the interior was blue patterned fabric that turned out really great. Glad you had the mask on the whole time. The pour from the extractor was yuck. Thanks for this turn around. Have a wonderful weekend Mitch, enjoy the moments when you're not working, which we know you deserve! 💜
Hello Joel, glad to see you again! Glad to see Mitch pursue working. That's perfect for him. He has a good attitude toward hard work and earns long hours. Mitch feels good esteem that Chrysler looks pleasant and so inspirational. He requires using a mask to be a wise man. Chrysler messes up a loca (crazy). Have an enjoyable day and a nice weekend, my friend! Wisconsin has plenty of drizzle and rainy rest of the hours. Be safe and stay warm. 😊
Haha yeah this one wasn’t in the best shape but that interior sure turned out good! Yep it was still driving with over 300k km on the odometer! Have a great weekend Joel!
Fantastic interior transformation.
Hey Mitch, I love that no matter how messed up the car is, you always do an excellent job. Even when the car is falling apart, like that one. Love Love Happy Happy! 💪💣❤️🔥
Another great work, 26 years is RIDICULOUS, car also needs a lot of body work
It definitely needs all it's paint stripped with a glass blaster, along with the rust. o.o
I'm turning 28 this year and my body needs a lot of work too 🤣🤣🤣
Vehichle cleaned up better than expected. P.S. The Gatorade bottle is funny.
Mitch works wonders under the most extreme circumstances. Another amazing transformation.
The interior turned out great 👍
Great job as usual. What an absolute pointless car to revitalize though, oh my gosh. I just can't imagine someone going out of their way to rescue this rust-bucket.
Assuming it's still running, a paint job and a headlight would make it a ton better, it'd just be rusty
Who cares so long as the car works? Even if it's rusty, I'd want my rust bucket to be clean
Haha - good point, I’d want it clean. But rust is the worst
This car was insane... Thanks for the new vid! Keep up the amazing work
Been looking for a good carpet cleaner and just bought yours! Hope it looks great!!!
Excellent job but that car needs to go to the crusher in the junkyard to get recycled maybe it can be used for new car parts when melted.
My husband and I had an Intrepid back in 1999, it was amethyst in colour. We loved it. This Intrepid looks like it’s been beat up! If anyone can help it it’s Mitch!
well, it is 26 years old...
The interior looks better. Have a great weekend.
Amazing Job Mitch! I bet this job of cleaning this car might be super intense unlike anything else besides an overwhelming stench smell from the interior which will be extremely difficult to clean this vehicle after 26 years and this car is not my lover of course, Have a great weekend.
26 years is crazy
Great job, great vidoe, thank you🤩
Love the customization.
It actually looks like the interior held up well for the age. The carpet looked to be pretty good quality as well as the seats.
Thought it was a Dodge but still the same, the first gen looked beautiful though the drivetrain wasn't good, it's still cool to see one on your channel. The back is rotted and will need a ton of metalwork if the owner wants it fixed up.
Love the colour of the paint underneath the black .
The job you did on this car is miraculous, magical and unbelievable
They definitely was high on weed with a water bottle taped on the front light😂
Quite the interesting detail! I think this might be the worst paint job I’ve ever seen on a car. Try e inside really cleaned up nice though. Great job Mitch! Have a nice weekend everyone 😅
Botdog, Glad you are here. Have a good weekend!👍
Have a great weekend Botdog! So good to see you here enjoying Mitch's videos.
Wow the rims look brand new 💚💚💚
Another job well done
Never seen a car so rusty 😮 good job overall
I was more surprised to see it did have rocker panels and fenders. Salt on winter roads are bad for Canadian cars.
Good thing we do not have smellavision 😁
Good heavens man someone should give you an award for cleaning this filthy car, you my dear are a one of a kind.
Hi Mitch this car looks better than It did before you got started on it and i know it has to smell alot better also you surely did a great job considering the shape it is in have a great weekend Mitch see you in the next one
Sorry to ask...but WHY even clean this trash can??🤭😅🤗
I will run 0.1 mile for every like this comment gets
Nobody cares
@@frimmbits you cared enough to comment 🙄
@@frimmbits seems like YOU care
It is gonna be a hard one, thats for sure 😂
enjoy your run
You did a good job 👍
TGIF! This was a good one. Love the paint. Maybe they were going for a two-toned color? Lol. Gatorade bottle in the lamp is classic, lmao.
Great job as always. Enjoy the videos and stories. Kept thinking this detail is the definition of "polishing a turd". 😂 Keep up the great work and thanks for all the helpful tips.
Love your videos
Nice work ❤😊
I can see this one making an appearance in the 5th annual Detail Geek awards video. Awesome job bringing some life back into it Mitch!
‘You can’t polish a turd’ has never been more apt.
Got to love that rattle can paint job!
I would be proud and honored to have you detail my Ford Focus
Short and sweet!
I have a new car that is clean I but still would want you to detail it for some reason. No...nothing is wrong with it, at all lol, its just your cleaning is very satisfying and your work is beyond great and i would feel better knowing that you detailed my car because you are thorough with your cleans. You are just Amazing at what you do hands down!
I always wash my cars, but I wish I had a space like yours to do it year round. You leave them spectacular!!!
Great job
You know I always leave a comment on your vids Mitch! but I don't know what to say this week mate! lol!
As much improvement as you made on the interior this car, my next stop would be the machinists to get in good running order. After a new paint job it would be a great daily driver. Glad to have you back!
That must be Mr Hand Tool Rescue's car. It would be fitting with his sense of humor. I could even spot one of his signature wrenches at 6:39 when you emptied the car.
Feel like he is better than the bottle headlight trick
Mitch, I would like to know if you can make a video where you show how you clean the microfiber towels that you’re using, the products used to clean them, temperature of water, if you separate the dirtiest from the cleanest, and other tricks if you have them. 😄
Great disaster detail (detox) and cleaning demo. You had nothing to lose on this one! The floor mats deserve their own video, I've never seen you do that many passes and still have dirt coming out.
Great job.
Well, it looks a lot better. The outside of this car will always be an eyesore but the inside looks like night and day! It’s so awesome that you still put in the same amount of time and effort in an old beater as you would a much newer and nice car.
I am a sophomore in high school. I am in auto class. And we had a 2008 Dodge Avenger to detail And thanks to your videos, I was able to get that car as good as your videos. Thanks for making your videos!
Guys he does detailing, his job is to detail dirty cars even if the car is not drivable. Love the spirit bro😎
That detail must’ve been insane. Well done Mitch
at first, i just came around for the detailing videos, but stuck around because of this dude and his grey pants 😎👍
Hi Mitch, been a fan for a couple of years now! Always impressed! Just curious as to how you clean the seatbelts? My husband's second hand truck seatbelt smelled terrible after the dealership detail wore off! BO and nicotine. I have done a couple of different things in an attempt to get the smell out, yet you can still catch a whiff now and then. I would love your input! Thank you!
Who else watches these cleanup videos to get motivated to clean your own car every weekend 😊
I use to love those intrepids, my mom had 2 they rode sooo smoove lol great video .. again again and again lol
I think this is up for one of those Detail Geek awards at the end of the year!
What a beautiful car and job on it.
LOOKD GOOD😊
Wow the cloth seat transformation was worth it all. They look almost brand new
