    • unfortunately a lot of the cars entering the junkyard these days are new vehicles being totaled by insurance companies for minor issues but expensive parts so many junkyard vehicles tend to look nicer than you think for instance if my bmw i3 were to get rear ended, the trunk lid alone would make insurance want to total my vehicle even if it runs fine and is beautiful

  • Condition aside, I have to say the interior shots brought back some memories. You do not see these cars in northern New England AT ALL. Also bears thought about the absence of interior color selection in common cars today. I think that interior came out amazing. The fabric and carpet look soft now. Great job!

    • I detest rust so much. The seats of older vehicles are so comfortable and squishy. I miss those days. I think this Intrepid deserves some TLC. Replace the rubber trim, that headlight assembly, sand then wrap the car. It'll look tiptop. If the car functions and passes inspection there is nothing wrong with it.

      @Robbie-mw5uu@Robbie-mw5uu3 ай бұрын
    • @@Robbie-mw5uuexactly That car could be saved and it wouldn’t cost that much. Also cars from that era have benefits over cars today in some areas- carpet quality, simplicity of tech and parts make them easier to work on, cheaper parts, less computers.

  • Interior. Suprised that you didn't use the OZONE Machine to reduce the smell while you were doing the exterior. Also would have been afraid to spray the exterior due to the amount of rust and the possibility of having the spray go through and spray on the inside. Great turn out on the inside of the vehicle. The fabric and carpet looked like they were of a higher quality than today's vehicle. Outstanding.

  • The phrase "lipstick on a pig" is what jumps to mind here. You did an amazing job of cleaning all the muck and filth out of this ignored 26 years. It seems like when really high, people have inventive ideas about how to fix and customize cars. We didn't see the car move, so we don't know if it got towed in or not. Was it able to be driven in? This was a really good demonstration of how powerful your APC and other chemical products are in a destroyed vehicle. Poor Justin never got the letter he was supposed to buried amongst the mess. So the interior was blue patterned fabric that turned out really great. Glad you had the mask on the whole time. The pour from the extractor was yuck. Thanks for this turn around. Have a wonderful weekend Mitch, enjoy the moments when you're not working, which we know you deserve! 💜

  • Great job as always. Enjoy the videos and stories. Kept thinking this detail is the definition of "polishing a turd". 😂 Keep up the great work and thanks for all the helpful tips.

  • I have a new car that is clean I but still would want you to detail it for some reason. No...nothing is wrong with it, at all lol, its just your cleaning is very satisfying and your work is beyond great and i would feel better knowing that you detailed my car because you are thorough with your cleans. You are just Amazing at what you do hands down!

  • As much improvement as you made on the interior this car, my next stop would be the machinists to get in good running order. After a new paint job it would be a great daily driver. Glad to have you back!

  • That must be Mr Hand Tool Rescue's car. It would be fitting with his sense of humor. I could even spot one of his signature wrenches at 6:39 when you emptied the car.

  • Mitch, I would like to know if you can make a video where you show how you clean the microfiber towels that you’re using, the products used to clean them, temperature of water, if you separate the dirtiest from the cleanest, and other tricks if you have them. 😄

  • Well, it looks a lot better. The outside of this car will always be an eyesore but the inside looks like night and day! It’s so awesome that you still put in the same amount of time and effort in an old beater as you would a much newer and nice car.

  • Hi Mitch, been a fan for a couple of years now! Always impressed! Just curious as to how you clean the seatbelts? My husband's second hand truck seatbelt smelled terrible after the dealership detail wore off! BO and nicotine. I have done a couple of different things in an attempt to get the smell out, yet you can still catch a whiff now and then. I would love your input! Thank you!
