In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from bear attacks, encounters and even charges. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like a forest, national parks, alaska, russia and canada.
Encounters with black bears, brown bears and even kodiak bears are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are hiking, camping, mountain biking or even hunting.
It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.
Thankfully, many people on hikes carry bear spray, which prevents their bear encounter from turning into ''gone wrong'' viral moments.

Standing your ground when bluff charged by a bear instead of running: smart. Approaching a bear for any reason: not smart. That lady who exited the gate and ran back thankfully escaped since the bear seemed to be a mother with a cub.

Any time there's more than one bear it's a mother and cub. They'll stay with her up to four years, often reaching the same size as she is, but she maintains the protective instinct.
The dog in clip 4 is worth its weight in gold. Did not hesitate when it first seen the bear.

was always lucky, since my dog loved to chaise a bear once in a while, i could not always avoid that, when with my dog on the field, bordering the woods, suddenly the dog takes off, and suddenly it sound like a train is moving....and so lucky always away from me, if, just IF mr Brown gets mad and decide to chaise the dog ? then dog comes to me for protection ? and me in the middle of a flat field ? after many years i think most bears are rather smart ....
@@ertsixbarf as hard as it to believe, bears are naturally afraid of dogs (prob cause they associate them with us) so unless it was a mama bear or a starving bear they will run away.
Those all were way to close. If a bear even steps foot on the tree Im in and I got a weapon, Im not taking any chances. All rounds or whatever I got is being used. No reason to leave things to chance. Chances are its going to happen. The dog did an amazing job going toe to toe with bear. He earned all that he every gets and then some. Was interesting to watch. I wouldn’t be too scared in a tree stand. You’ve got the edge on the bear with gravity on your side. Just a puff of bear spray if it gets too close…otherwise a big buck knife will stop it from climbing higher.

3:55 is how it ended badly in the movie "Back country" That movie by far is the most realistic bear attack and killing of a man I have ever seen. I'm 56 yrs old and not much affects me because I've seen some stuff in my life but they made this so realistic I'm no more traumatized than if I had witnessed a real incident. That was as bad as the Timothy Treadwell audio.

@@zafirali688 yeh i wouldn't disagree, im sure there would be a handful of videos possibly even with African hunting dogs which are just as unforgiving, i think the big cats however are more familiar with people due to safari tours hence a lot more videos featuring big cats, but a hyaena montage would be interesting

They're gentle animals, unless provoked. Some even make friends with wild black bears that live in the woods near their homes. I only know black bear behaviors. Not other kinds.

I had a encounter with a moose, it was scary for the moose, because I gave him the hands
And that was a turkish small black bear. It would've easily destroyed that Kangal. Mind you, Kangals are known to be amongst the 5 best top tier most powerful dog breed. And some people say that some dogs can destroy a grizzly bear *smh*. A Kodiak bear all alone can destroy a whole wolf pack and are known to easily steal the killings of the wolves. So any dog would be just snack for those powerful beasts.

The last thing your supposed to do is freak out, run and yell. Black bears are actually docile unless you provoke them. There's constructive ways to interact with black bears. You can even become friends with them. These type of videos reinforce false perceptions. Learn about bears by watching people who research bears in the wild. I say these things only about black bears. I don't know about Grizzlies or other types...

I watched this video and I can’t say that it makes me wanna carry bear spray the next time I go outside or anytime that I go outside to be honest. I mean just think about it go to my mailbox that 10 yards from my house to get the mail and I feel the need to go and get some bear spray. Just because I watch this video. Or I’m driving to the grocery store and I have to go outside to get to my truck and I think I just watched this video I need to get some bear spray. My point is it’s a pretty bold statement that the narrator made at the first of the video. I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say he’s a liar and an over exaggerator. However, he’s got a good voice.

bears are smart, had them living around my farm yard, the people on this video did well, always stay calm, we cant outrun a bear, the bear entering the tent had most likely success before, never save food in the tent, and the guy in the tree is lucky he did not cook a meal wearing that clothes ? before going into the woods its good to learn about the behaviour of animals, try to think like them, i will never ever feed a bear, they will soon associate us with food, and yes, then they might walk right up to you, also they might hang around roads and get killed, i love watching them and also watching this videos, and no, they dont like to eat humans, we are not as tasty as we think....
Feeding the bears is why that woman had an encounter that nearly cost her, her life. I'm not saying she fed them but someone in the neighborhood has been doing exactly that. Now mama bear is teaching her cub how to find food in suburbia. As the saying goes a fed bear is a dead bear, mama and cub are on borrowed time.

I wouldn't be able to help myself and be all ''LOOOOOKATTHE BEARITNEEEEEDSACUDDLE!!!!'' *die horribly* My husband thinks it's great we don't have bears in our country.
