oh,it is !!!?😅
@marvintomol1812 жыл бұрын
@@razeenrajaful Bruh, Sinatra did not write “The way you look tonight,” it was written by Jerome Kern. & that wasn’t even my point. Tony Bennett’s version, i.e. the slow version, is the one that is the most SYNONYMOUS with the song, and also the one that most people have heard. Sinatra’s version has more of a jolly spin, which, while has its own charm, is kinda off-putting, given the vibe of the lyrics. Hence, people usually associate the song with Tony Bennett’s version. It’s just that many people don’t KNOW that the slow version is by Bennett, they assume that both versions were sung by Sinatra, & in fact, many don’t even know of the existence of the “jolly” upbeat version. Bennett’s version was used in Friends, but most people thought that was Sinatra.

This song, specifically this video of Sal singing, makes me cry every time. Like I ball my eyes out and it's only at the end when Nick and Sal's cousin start cheering and everyone's clapping.. just something about it makes me so emotional to the point of literal snot-nose baby crying. Everytime. It's so strange too cause I listen to Frank Sinatra sing it all the time and nothing, no tears, but when Sal sings and everything else is happening just makes sound so triumphant.

He’s on tik tok
Italians have a gift. A lot of talent.
Anyone else notice how at 6:47 Sal said “I love the way you look tonight” which is a Sinatra reference. Pure confidence
I’d say it was more of a Tony Bennett reference, since his version WAS better, & therefore, the song’s more synonymous w him. But yeah, we do agree that it WAS a reference.
@@Raphael-fn9dr Bruh, since when was this song not exclusively a Frank Sinatra reference, you know it was made by Frank Sinatra
oh,it is !!!?😅
@@razeenrajaful Bruh, Sinatra did not write “The way you look tonight,” it was written by Jerome Kern.
@@Raphael-fn9dr I agree Tony’s version is way better

He deserved it, in my opinion. Even though he came in 5th, he still has a career ahead of him. He does have that ability to imitate Frank or Dean's "old school charm", and his vocals are on point and his ability to carry a note and bring emotion through what he sings is just as impressive.
cainster in my home town (Huntington Long Island) he had a show booked after americas got talent and demand was so high to see him perform live. that they had to schedule another four extra shows!!!!
awesome!
cainster u
cainster ya
It's guys like this who come far but don't win that get the careers. It's the winners that get a shitty one hit/album deal, get dropped, and end up nowhere.
Refreshing to see someone get the golden buzzer based purely on talent genuine character. Not some bollocks sob story
If that aint the truth
Honestly it was probably the stage prescence. They've never had someone on with this much stage prescence and ability to move the room without a sob story.
He has a voice of true New Yorker Jazz man
I could watch this video ten thousand times and still have room for ten thousand more!
I love how they're so in character. The guy carries around a cigar in a no smoking building. HAHAHA. 😂
Mafia boss lvl.100
I’m in tears 🤣🤣
Reindeer Urf lmao I really thought the cigar was a cannoli this whole time
He was saving it for when Sal won the Golden Buzzer
If I were to drown in a vat of marinara, I still would not be this Italian.
Meat Machine this comment wins
As someone from an Italian family; the stereotypes are correct and we adore them.
Jumpin Joe agreed we do
LOLOLOL!!!
Meat Machine yur funny
This man and his family radiate absolute goodness. I love Sal's voice it is something you never really hear anymore! His charisma, his presentation, it's everything! Even all these years later.
The Mafia Family
Raibin Zamuar The Godfather
the goddaddy
Raibin Zamuar "Where is the money? Why aren't you getting the money now? And so on. So please. The money"
he sounds like joe barbaro on mafia 2 when he's talking
Marc Amarillo he reminds me of Joey Tribbiani
Sings like Sinatra, talks like Sinatra, smooth like Sinatra. By the looks of his cousin the mob connection isn't far off as well :p

Wonderful, tears in my eyes, Beautiful😀
I bet his grandma, Frankie and Dean are all smiling down on this.
dahlski if there was a heaven, they would be. but you know...
Stephen Reaves true ... reality is a bitch
Stephen Reaves do you really have to say that what the fuck
Stephen Reaves I'm tired of people like you just demeaning people's beliefs just because they don't match yours, I myself am not Christian and don't believe in heaven but at least I respect others beliefs no matter how illogical they seem to me, you my friend just wasted 5 seconds of your life to type something out of spite to achieve what? Satisfaction in others opposition and pain from your opinion... the definition of evil.
cam ciaramella (in emperor Palpatine voice) YOU WEAK INCOMPETENT FOOL!!! HA HA HA HA!!!
-italian family -delivers pizza -Big tommy looks like he’s a part of the Mafia -eats pizza in introduction -Intro song is Mambo Italiano from Dean Martin You can’t get more Italian *American* than this Edit: yeah i guess it's more Italian American
True 😂😂
This doesn't look Italian at all lmao, maybe Italian american straight out of a movie
hahahahahha you are right
Yeah you can backstab your brother give the judas kiss and a red rose.
Lorenzo Montagna Haha, yeah it’s more Italian stereotypes
Omg I was breathless with Heidi’s decision 😮😮😮 he deserved that🎉 bc he sang my favorite song of all time.I listened to it in my car, shower, gardening basically everywhere and when I do listen, makes me do things I have never had either chance, or courage to to do my way

My heart melted when Sal introduced his mom and then said,” Look how gorgeous she is.” Love that
Hey whats the intro song name
@@schachanhaokip8727 the one at the beginning of the video? It’s mambo Italiano by Dean Martin
Ohh thanks.. I was searching everywhere 😇
I was the 1000th like lmao
It's all an act by a world class ego.
Sal, a well deserved 🪙 buzzer. I must have watched his performance a hundred times. Wish all the best for you my guy.
This guy is precisely why I love Italians. Every word that came out of his mouth was perfect, whether spoken or sung.
Tanx for love italian....
i love italian people too, such lovely people honestly
Dudes from USA
He's not italian man
As an Italian, this guy and his family are nothing italians, trust me…
When he says he delivers pizza, you know he's not delivering "pizza"
He's delivering people to his cousin that will resemble pizzas after
He paints house’s
The truck is rarely empty if you know what I mean
Yeah he “Paints Houses” as well. 😂
Lol, i got it. Dat subliminal messagge
He's a cutie pie and a big teddy bear but, boy....did he do that iconic song justice. Here's to Nonna...Way to go Sal!
I'm an old guy and you made me cry. What a voice.... Thank you for the privilege of listening to you.
I love this comment ❤️
You gotta have some balls to sing to My Way. Its a Sinatra classic and this man did one of the best renditions I have ever heard, bravo sir.
and that's cover from a french song called 'comme d'habitude " sung by claude francois
kzhead.info/sun/erF-Y8qFnH1rp6s/bejne.html check it out man
Yeah just like Sid Vicious did
Elvis did it best though let's be honest
@Mav, no doubt! Elvis was unbelievable.
1:37 "What about Simon Cowell? He's a person in a chair" "And if he's gonna buzz you he'll be a person on a wheelchair"
LOLOL!!
WHAT A GUY BEST EVER
I... I am next?
@@H.P778 who knows
Nice
I keep on coming back to watch Sal 😂 can't forget the personality and the voice! The confidence and the air of greatness
The first 25 seconds satisfied all my pre-existing Italian stereotypes
the most wrong idea of italy..... we are far away from being like your stupids stereotypes.
Francesco Genua cmon we have steoriotipes about americans
perhaps you have, I haven't
Hey guys what song is on the beginning? With mambo mambo thing
Kezia Carmellia it's titled "Mambo Italiano" there are some different versions, ancient and modern ones
shiiit gotta love that fucking accent...
Jamzz Ellam which accent? he doesn't have italian accent!... probably you should hear me speaking english ahahah
Damiano Ledda it's a an accent actually a Chicago accent which is dean's accent aka the guy who composed and sang the song
...its a new yorker accent what are you on about
+AAZ NoMoreOppression haha you've obviously never been to Chicago before.
It's a Long Island/new York accent
20 years old & such talent & stage presence. 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆
Why do I feel like I owe Big Tommie money?
Yous betta pay up! Lol
Because you do
Luca Brasi is on his way to your home
@@mohdamiruddinsulaiman1383 exactly my thought hahaha
Because he probably made you an offer you can't refuse. Ehhehehehe
When big tommie say " don't worry about simon cowell" it's just like a dark mafia thingy.
My men could take him out later at high noon don't worry he won't be a problem
LMAOOO 💀
i remember watching this live, im glad this came up again!! i watched this live as a 15 year old girl who lovessss the oldies like frank sinatra. this one touched my heart.
I tell you that boy has the voice of an angel and in this house Sal Valentinetti is a hero, end of story!
OKAY, CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT HOW IN LOVE I AM WITH THIS MANS CONFIDENCE?
In the first 30 seconds he was hitting on Heidi Klum. Now THAT takes guts.
AnimeGirl36 it's truly amazing
Shut up weeb
Burp inc. shit up nerd
Beth Hankins you send me this at 6am
This guy is a born entertainer......he seems like he has been doing this for a lifetime...so comfortable on stage..and that smooth voice....Sinatra reincarnated...pretty amazing
you are absolutely right, I even don't feel that he is contestants. To me, he looks like professional entertainer with amazing voice
You are correct. He was there to entertain and entertain he did. His confidence in himself is amazing. He took charge of the stage like a boss. I want his album.
song(My Way)originale of Claude François (Cloclo)100 percent French,100 percent Claude Francois

Kai Wilder nope! It also works on the grown up power puff girls! img.gawkerassets.com/img/19c1wq78eytw1jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg
I probably watch this once a week 🤌🏼
This guy is born to sing and be an entertainer….amazing performance and attitude. Wish you the success you deserve
This will forever be my favorite contender for America's Got Talent.
Too bad his following song choices weren't that great...
I want an Italian mafia based tv show starring this guy and family.
the sopranos
In the form of a musical?
I disagree. This guy has major singing talent. He doesn't need to do a stupid reality show and ruin his serious career.
Melinda Smith well if he acts well he has his foot In the door for acting and singing ( not talking about the show being a musical
Me Too
Besides his obviously mindblowing voice and charisma, this still stands as the most New Yorker thing I've ever seen.
