In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.
Don't *GET CAUGHT* cheating
Has anyone ever NOT get caught?
@@o.b.7217I think Dave Gorman admitted that he spit in the cup during the ‘collect most tears’ task
@@o.b.7217 How would we know if they cheated if they didn't get caught?
@@o.b.7217 a couple of contestants have said that they either cheated or think they cheated and got away with it.

That towel grab disguise was smooth.
Tim Key was the first candidate I thought of when I read the title of the episode. He also cheated on the infamous melon task. :D
@@TheSk4dir it wasn't cheating, he just liked melon. Nothing in the rules said that they couldn't eat more after the minute.
Oh look, it's the sneaky pasta snake!
He even painted his nails yellow. The markings of a true sneaky pasta snake.
Ah, I see you've omitted the part of the bucket task where YOU helped Al Murray cheat.
In his defense, the task said that AL couldn’t move the buckets. Didn’t say anything about Alex moving them
@@ryanschwartz4959This one is frustrating because he would not move them for Sara with the same request, though. It is not that Al cheated, it is sort of like Alex did.
@@BeccaB529 Fair - I remember Al had to bribe Alex into moving the bucket. Then the latter had to give the bribe to charity
Or that time alex gave morgana the solution to the crow of troy
@@awlig yeah that one really annoyed me. Granted the solution kind of went against the brief anyway since the bridge was supposed to consist of sand, but Morgana still scored highly on it, it felt like a poor rehash of Debajo de La Mesa
Best cheat is Munya, so skillful and almost undetectable !
Johnny Vegas is such an under-rated contestant. If he happens to see this, I hope he knows he was a Joy to watch.
SO CUTE WE NEED MORE ALEX+DOG TAKING A BATH
I assume one of these episodes is going to be "Flip the task over". For every time that a rule about eating chocolate or not having to unwind a ball of string was on the back side, or just a list of all the things that were hanging in the lab.
Those are diabolical lol
Episode 9 needs to DO CHEAT. All the times people found clever loopholes in the rules.
That's not cheating, that's Task MASTERing :)
That's lateral thinking not cheating
I don't think being ultra pedantic is cheating Genies be genies
The only thing that could make taskmaster better is more dogs on task master
True! That one task with Ol' Sausage Gloves proved it years ago.
There are enough taskmaster shows globally now to have a taskmasters on taskmaster series.
Make a couple of the assistants be the taskmaster and the assistant
Still waiting for the episode on "check the table and your immediate surroundings." If you're missing something that would obviously be helpful, possibly something you'd think should've just been included that wasn't, oftentimes it _IS_ there, but (usually barely) hidden. Sometimes clues are available, or, rarely, _the answer is shown._
"Always check under the table" And honestly check every room in the house before you crack the seal. I think I'd be funny in the panel portion, but ruthless on the tasks.
They did already make that episode
@@jaymuffinz No, they still haven't, even now that 8 episodes are available. The focus of the currently-available episodes is such: 1: Read the Entire Task 2: Throwing 3: Blindfolds 4: Persistence 5: Love 6: Cooking 7: Endurance 8: Don't Cheat As yet, there still isn't an episode whose primary focus is checking the table and/or one's surroundings for extra/hidden materials, hints, or other information.
Maybe they're saving it for last
Gibson: I feel like I hadn't contributed Alex: Because you hadn't 7:25 Ouch. That would be harsh even from Greg.
Cheat, but be forgiven by a TaskMaster is the real answer 😉🙃
Cheat, but be funny about it
Cheat, but be clever enough about it so TM thinks you deserve it 😉
Dave Gorman has stated that he managed to cheat without getting caught (as well as did get caught multiple times). I doubt he is the only one, although he would be the most likely to do it.
Sian tripped on the balls and Mawaan brought that pasta from home. I wonder if there are cheaters that were never caught by Alex and only caught by fans or later reviewing of the tapes.
SNEAKY PASTA SNAKE!
Another surprise Loky cameo!
I feel a good defense for a lot of these is "It's not my fault you're bad at measuring." Coffee in a bucket doesn't change how much was transported. A ball in a net doesn't change what was caught. Spaghetti in a pocket doesn't change what's in the grapefruit. (That's a weird sentence.)
In that case no one ever cheats. Because surely it wouldn't be cheating if people were just careful enough to ignore all the bits they cheated on.
This is a nice video I can point to when talking about "sample bias".
Morgana Robinson got away with cheating in the blindfold task
Was it a cheat? The task did not say that the person was blindfolded, but that he had to complete the task with this device.
Morgana took advantage of poor equipment fitment. She didn’t intentionally dislodge the blindfold.
Don’t blame the horse was a pretty strong defense.
@pinkvulpineproductions3463 and because of that, Alex got punished in the traditional way
@@ilGardo01 not the traditional way!
How to win Taskmaster, Episode 9 - Pay/make Alex to do your Task
Tim key is just the ultimate cheater
I think Sian’s was the smoothest cheat personally of those caught. Not as blatant as everyone else, it only looks blatant once you slow it down
The real problem is she cheated with the lowest value balls. High risk, low reward, that's not the way to cheat.
I'm glad this was addressed.
Mawaan did NOT cheat. No one would have guessed that Alex would measure how much pasta was used by measuring what was left and subtracting that from the smarting amount. You'd assume he would just measure what was in the grapefruit. And Mawaan didn't even try and hide that he threw away the pasta. In order for Mawaan to have cheated he would have had to know ahead of time how Alex was going to measure how much pasta was used, decide to sneak out unused pasta, but then also make no attempt to hide it after it was snuck out. What happened was Alex was using an unusual measuring method that coincidentally made an innocent act by Mawaan look like cheating.
Except that Alex also says that he measured what was in the grapefruit and that's where the discrepancy was found. So he did measure it the way you would expect him to. Even so, knowing how something was going to be measured doesn't matter, they didn't need to know. You are kinda right though, Mawaan didn't cheat. He tried to cheat and failed. Also, measuring what's left is far from an unusual measuring method, it's very common practice across many industries. You've heard of stocktacking, right? That is a form of counting/measuring what you have left.
Munya kicking a ball at Gatwick didn’t make the cut? 😮
Gorman placing his second pea into the racket was referenced but not shown. Nor Lou putting an item back in the hamock after it fell out. There are always more examples then they can fit in.
I remember Noel Fielding cheated in one episode. On a pagoda or something. I can't remember quite what it was but it was truly Noel-fashion!
He meddled with Alex's ipad and the clock
Band stand. When they had to move flour from one table to another. They also threw the table. And a helium tank if I'm not mistaken.
@@snazzypazzy Throwing the table and helium tank were mearly ill-advised not against the rules.

The fact that he could have used his cup to carry the water in the first place...
I knew they had to include the sneaky pasta snake hahaha
I wonder how they'll handle it in the VR game. I hope the devs are including something to let us get in trouble with, lol. Hope they're using these vids for inspiration :)

Sneaky Pasta was just the tip of the slippery snake down to Davros' assistant and inventor of the Dalek plunger. Tut, tut.
mawaan didnt cheat though. It never said you couldnt hide pasta on your person.
He wasn't necessarily a cheater, he was a sneaky pasta snake!
Indeed. For that task he was no cheater, just a sneaky pasta snake.
I feel like Sian could've just said "you never told us we couldn't put the balls in ourselves" and wouldn't have gotten disqualified, they just wouldn't have gotten any extra points from those balls
The task read "catch" and "things from the shed" so I don't think she'd have had good luck there.
@@roguishpaladin she could argue that she was catching it after it had been kicked. It didn’t say catch the balls before they hit the ground so I’m theory any of them could have picked the balls up and and thrown or kicked them into the appropriate receptacle. They’d just have to defend it to Greg.
@@pinkvulpineproductions3463 to be fair, this video edited the reading down, they would get no points for any balls that had touched the ground. I’m just arguing that the task never said they couldn’t put additional balls into the things they were catching with
So I refer to people as "sneaky pasta snakes" all the time now and boy does it confuse the he'll out of them lmao😂
funny thought experiment, putting other historical contestants in Joes position 4:16. Some might not have been as calm about it all.
Cheating is frowned upon but sabotage is rewarded! Isn't it?
It's a fine line between breaking the rules and doing something smart that's technically within the rules. :D
Play Morgana fighting her way through the castle by being able to see the floor under her goggles.
Remember, they’re only showing you the ones that got caught
Can't believe Munya's exercise ball kick didn't make it!
Probably takes too long...
I wonder if there's anyone who cheated and didn't get caught
Look carefully at 5:30 - Joe cheats too! He takes a red that bounced.
Sneaky pasta snake!! 🐍🐍
They missed the cheater from S14!
There were a lot of missing cheats.
Loky spotted!
If you're not cheating, you're not trying. If you get caught cheating, you weren't trying hard enough.
False. Cheating is giving up on the task.
They get paid either way
We need to know the name of that pooch. And who owns it. So we know who to return it to if someone cheats their way into owning a new TM pet mascot.
That's Loky, Alex's dog; if you check out @NoMoreJockeys she frequently turns up in that.
I believe that's Alex Horne's dog, Loky.
Dave "He's Cheated Again" Gorman.
Marco? Is that you?
Is Sian the only person to have blatantly cheated in a team task so far? That makes it extra shocking!
Noel cheated by pausing the timer in the flour task
Noel Fielding tampered with the clock in one, too.
@@OwlRTA@BurntCornMuffin Yes! That was also scandalous! (And perfectly on brand for Noel.)
In the same series with Sian, Lou put an item back in after it fell out of the hamock. And if NZ counts, Matt Heath pocketed some of the Wheatabix he was supposed to eat to earn more building material for the castle.
Naah, don't get caught
More dogs please!
How cute is that dog?
I knew Dave Gorman and the Sneaky Pasta Snake both had to be featured in this one. Also, has Alex had his dog with him in all of these?
I like how it's not even a specific task, it's just Dave Gorman. The guy is the master of mischief
@@RickyRatte he cheated so much that series 😂
@@pinkvulpineproductions3463 I know him because of Taskmaster and since then, I watched pretty much everything available on KZhead by him. Knowing him better now, it's not surprising at all. You can see this playful mischievousness in everything he does
@@RickyRatte oh interesting. I haven’t seen outside of TM so wasn’t aware of that.
Sian Gibson is still the most adorable cheater
It's wild any of them care enough to cheat, I'd be taking it easy
I would 100% cheat on those games. It’s literally trivial.
In the task where Sian kicked the ball into the net thing … why couldn’t they pick up the balls and toss them into each others thingies? I think the task just said “catch the balls” and didn’t say don’t touch them.
They probably could have done that, there's nothing in the rules against it but obviously they didn't think of it.
What if you set a task where they had to cheat?
Kathrine Ryan got away with cheating in the last studio task of the series (I think) and won for it. I’m still salty about that.
Katherine never cheated. I assume you’re referring to the rabbits in hats one where she got 15 points due to the stipulation. That was unfair, but stealing Jon and Richard’s rabbits was perfectly fair, and no different from Richard giving Jon one of his.
"have you got night time cameras" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And yet yer man The Pub Landlord cheated like a boris and got away with it!
How much extra did he think the coffee was going to buy him?
If he'd emptied the cup earlier on it, paired with the hose, would have easily given him the win.
What about Morganna?
5:25 Oh my god I totally forgot about that I feel so bad for them
I cant get you dident take the best cheat wit hthe balls on the air port.

Sorry Alex, but I am a deacon in the Church of Sneaky Pastasnakerism
didn't even do the yoga balls? big missed oppertunity to do something like "if you are going to cheat, at least try to disguise it, or don't"
That wasn't cheating tho it was a loophole in the task which really requires its own episode

Don't GET CAUGHT cheating. There is an outtake out there of Dara in the Flour and Grape task in season 14. He left the garage to grab grapes out of the fridge. While he was outside the garage he was off camera, but there was audio that Dara was doing things that would be impossible with flippers on his hands. However since there were no concrete evidence they allowed it happen.
